Unlike the Nike factory stores in Vacaville and Folsom, this one is a clearance store -- that means better deals across the board. Discounts can range anywhere from 30-80%, and most surprisingly, the selection is often very fashionable. I've spotted several gems during my handful of visits such as ACG jackets, windbreaker parachute pants, and tech pullover hoodies. Even the standard crew and ankle socks beat the usual prices! I stopped shopping on the Nike app nearly 2 years ago due to how expensive their merchandise became. Even their online "clearance" section typically reflected normal prices at best. However, this store actually puts Nike back on the map for me. For example, I bought a pair of comfortable sweatpants for $20 last month; when I looked up the same exact pants on the app, it was on "sale" for $55. The major downside to a clearance store is their no refund policy. It's called a clearance store for a reason; Nike wants nothing to do with the out-of-season merchandise once you purchase it. It's my understanding that they don't even do exchanges for store credit. Additionally, the employees are unable to check if the same product is available in other colors. They can only check whether other sizes are in stock for a particular color. Mens size S and M are often the first ones sold out. Love that this location is in the Howe 'Bout Arden shopping plaza. It's a great addition to the other restaurants, shops and movie theater. It is a little tucked away and we ended up walking around a bit before coming to the actual entrance. They have a wide selection of items in different styles, colors and sizes but depending on what size you wear you may not find each item in your size. It's kind of a treasure hunt. When we went in it wasn't too crowded and we were able to browse for a while. Everything is pretty well organized and I'm sure if you're a regular customer you can find different items and gems each visit. There were a lot of younger people in here and you could tell that sneaker collectors were browsing too. We're just casual Nike wearers so I can't tell you if anything crazy special was here, but it's worth a look. read more

Yay, We have a Nike Clearance Store in Arden/Sacramento! It's pretty busy because I think it opened about a week ago. We had to wait in line to get in but it move quickly and took about 5-10 minutes. Not a huge selection of clothes for women. Bigger selection of clothes of Men. Small section of kids clothes. Lots of sneakers and recent styles. I found a pair of Air Max 270 for $80, currently selling on Nike website for $160. That's not a bad deal. It was worth the trip. Located below Paul Mitchell School, near Pinkberry. JUST DO IT! And after years and years of waiting and speculation, a "Nike Clearance Store" finally arrived in the city of Sacramento. I am a huge fan of their product line and have been for several decades. Ever since buying my first pair of Nike cross trainers from the late-80's up to the present day, their level of comfort, style, and longevity have withstood the test of time. This is much needed because for those of us that live here, we always had to drive 17 miles east to the Folsom Outlets or 40 miles west to the Vacaville Outlets. This location is conveniently located at the Howe 'Bout Arden shopping center at the corner of Howe Ave and Arden Way. The store is directly next door to MOD Pizza and directly below the Paul Mitchell School. I think this is an ideal location due to the parking not being much of an issue. And this was a smart move on their part since nearby Arden Fair Mall is already a zoo with the shopping and dining as well as the neighboring shopping center that houses the movie theater, Burlington, Nordstrom Rack, and other retail establishments/restaurants. I came here during the morning of Monday 5/29/2023 at around 11:45am, only 5 days after their grand opening (which was on 5/24/2023). Much to my surprise, there was no line to get in nor was it even that busy in the store itself. My guess is that since it was Memorial Day, many people already had plans (since it was a gorgeous day in Sacramento). As I mentioned, parking wasn't too bad at all as I walked right in and was greeted by two security guards. As far as the layout itself, everything was fairly easy to find with the registers to the left of the entrance complete with the men's section. The right side is where the women's section was while kids was in the middle. Here, you will find a ton of racks and end caps that display socks, headbands, backpacks, water bottles, and other various accessories. And the most important part of the Nike Clearance Center is their shoe lineup with takes up the entire rear area of the store itself. As far as my purchases, I treated myself to a lightweight hoodie, 2 tees, 2 pairs of gym shorts, and a 6-pack of ankle socks. I was debating on some shoes but I have so many running/basketball shoes that are in new/near-new condition so I decided to hold off on that. But from what I saw, there were some very good deals available in all sizes. And many popular choices such as Air Max shoes for as low as $79.99 in men's. All in all, this is a great fit for Sacramento and I know with the popularity it gets from all walks of life, this "Nike Clearance Store" will do tremendously well. If I walk in looking for a very specific pair of sneakers, I'm not going to find them. That's a me issue. Clearance stores are bargain hunters dream come true. Sneakers that you may not have seen in years, right there in front of you, for like $47.99! That's the excitement of buying a pair of sneakers that you didn't even know you wanted. Clothes are still pricey even though the selection is solid. If I was still in my Tony Montana days, I'd pick up a dozen sweat suits all day long. I found the staff very helpful. Armed security is there to protect customers. I love the sweatshirt I've purchased and received a Nike App discount. Watching homeless with complete impunity steal armloads of clothes and shoes as customers shop and pay for purchases is maddening. I saw this three times in less than thirty minutes. I totally love how there's this store now in the Arden area versus having to always head to the Folsom Outlets. This Nike Clearance Store looks just like it does at the outlets equipped with several options for everyone and even has shoes too. They selected a prime location to set up, Howe Bout Arden shopping plaza. You can get something to eat and drink all within minutes of one another then get your shop on for anything and everything! We've come here twice now and sales are a hit and miss. The one major difference between this store and the outlets is all their sales are FINAL, hence the name. So be mindful about your choices and try on those items in your hand! While visiting during the weekday evening after work and another time on a weekend afternoon neither were crazy packed. Despite driving by so many times, I have never stopped. Since I am closer to Folsom Outlet, I thought that the merchandise might be similar. I have now stepped inside and I am very impressed with how clean, large, and organized it is! The store did not feel like a clearance rack or like shopping at Ross where it can be overwhelming. Instead, it is arranged neatly and there is a wide variety of choices. I did not find what I was looking for! However, I was able to find a number of great deals. The staff are attentive and can help you find items on the shelf. The store has strict policies- they are unable to get a different size from the back if not on the shelf. In addition, they can't save or hold shoes and let's not forget you cannot do returns or exchanges. Majority of the staff love Nikes too so it's easy to find things or they can help you find what's current or in. The prices are reasonable and competitive to the other stores. Another downfall, the clothing items are in limited sizes. Definitely not a variety of sizes either. Bad experience at checkout, there was a promotion spend 100 receive $25. purchased 3 pairs of shoes, my total was 107 after tax. Thought maybe the $25 reward would appear on the app since the cashier never mentioned anything. Went back and asked him and he said my total was not 100 before tax but 99.98 manager wouldn't return my items so that I can buy something else to make it $100.
