I had a list of a few shoes I wanted to try out and I was assisted by Braulio who had knowledge on the different types of leather and wear which was helpful in my decision. My daughter's bought me a pair of Ugg's lace shoes yesterday 9/13/2021. Inside Arden Fair mall. The store put the wrong shoes in the bag. The issue was when my daughters gave me them they noticed the wrong ones was given to them. Not a problem, the thought was there & I will exchange them. Went to exchange them and it wasn't that easy. They claimed they didn't sell those shoes and they weren't purchased there. Then karie looked in the back and said they just got them in and they haven't made it to the floor for display. The manager was kind had my size mailed to me. I gave them the email and address to have them shipped. I was told I would receive an email for that transaction. Nope! I called the store and was told I could come in & get a paper copy of the receipt. Why would I drive ALL the way back? Waste gas and my time? I am very unhappy. I hope I get my shoes! At this point I have no proof. My journey ends here. I will NOT be back at this location. Check your purchases before leaving the store because the cashier will not. I will end with at least one positive thought...it was very busy and my one review might not even matter but it is what it is. read more

Take a journey in some new kicks! I have frequented this location since 2004. It always ends up my place for some DC, Etnies skate shoes with a size 14 its hard to find sneakers in my size. They have a lot of other brands too, socke, tshirts, backpacks and some odd and ends too, belt clips, wallets etc. The service it self has mostly been awesome when i have shown up. I do come here a few times a year just to look and see what is new out, i dont come in the shopping holiday times to avoid the crowds and show up when there slow to get to talk to them about choices. It has always worked so far. They do there best to help me, and when i can't get the shoe instock they look in the computer for other locations if they have the size and will ship to your home for free, and when you get the shoe at home try em in and if you dont like it any reason, bring them back into any store location and quick n easy exchange. I have done this twice and no problems. They do have kids sizes to even in the skate sneakers, i have gotten a few for my kids, and my son was happy when he had a cool pair like his dad. And my wife likes chucks (converse) and they have em with the cool designs, logos, and a few of the regular plain colors too. They have a good variety of sneakers, boots, flip flops, amd "tennis shoes"(cali term i have learned). If your looking for a journey with some fresh kicks, take a journey to your local store! OK - so I have 8 kids...no lie. A few of them are "fashion conscious" so I get them the occasional pricey shoe. I love this place! The sales staff (one guy in particular - I wish I knew his name) is eager and willing to get your kids in a shoe that is right for them. They asked questions about each kids style, likes, needs, etc and had a few different types of shoe out in a flash for them to try on. Do they upsell...YES, but I am a big girl and I say No if I want to. I would expect no less if I were the owner and had so many other places competing for the same feet! read more

I had a great experience at this Journey's because of the representative that helped me. Employee #600658 (I forgot to ask his name) was incredibly helpful, kind, and ultimately helped me order the shoe I wanted to be delivered to my house. I tried on a few different pairs of shoes before choosing and he was very attentive and I appreciated his advice and genuine attitude. I felt very taken care of and I could not have asked for better customer service. I will definitely be coming back to this location for my next pair of shoes. read more

I like the products but, i went to the store and made a special order on 3-05-16 and i was told it would take no more than 2 weeks. I still haven't received my order and when i called the store the guy on the other side just said that the regional manager would contact me and at this point, no calls, e mails or signs of interest from the store to fix this issue. This is a really great store! A little pricey but what can you expect. The worker who helped me was very nice. Forgot her name but she had long dark brown hair and a couple tattoos. She was very helpful. She helped me find my size and helped me with in un-tightening the shoe. Overall really good store. Customer service was good. I have LOVED Journeys since I was young and worked in the mall and hung out with their employees. Love the shoes, service, and atmosphere. I had a bad experience calling the Sunrise location so I called the Arden store for help. Danny answered the phone and went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. Very impressed with this employee, especially around the holidays when they deal with crappy customers who are cranky and in a hurry. He was happy and helpful. I got the District managers number to inform him of my experience with both stores and he was very professional and made me feel like my concerns were heard. I will continue to shop at Journeys. Really good service from the SM. picked up two pairs of Macbeths and Ill probably come back for some PF Flyers or Converse Hi-Tops. Outstanding help and attention. I went in today with my fiance and our daughter to buy some Toms shoes for her.The service we received was absolutely awesome from the manager himself! He was knowledgeable about the products and was able to talk about them from real life experience. When I had concerns if my daughters foot was too wide he kindly asked if it was ok to feel her foot in the shoe, which I thought was great because sometimes sales people can be kind of aggressive. WOW! I was in Journey's on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. I found a pair of Van's I wanted but they didn't have my size in store so I ended up ordering them. They said it would take 4-7 business days to arrive after I placed the order. I love instant gratification when I buy something, but I really wanted these (Disney Authentic Minnie Vintage Floral). I got home today from work (FRIDAY, March 18, 2016) and THEY WERE HERE! I can't believe I ordered these in the afternoon on Wednesday and they were within 48 hours! The clerk was super helpful and super awesome (not sure of the employees name but their employee number according to the receipt was 305206). This was such a great experience....in the store and with the special order (FREE shipping to boot!). Thank you Journey's in Sacramento! You have great customer service!!!! read more

Journeys in Arden mall just won me over. I went there after a dry spell from mall shopping in search of a particular brand of shoe which i had found on the inter net and it said Journeys carried this brand.. They did not have the style I wanted but they did have the brand so my husband was milling around and my daughter found a certain pair she liked. ( She is 10 going on 21, this is difficult) The shoes were on sale and the sales man ( Manager) and the rest of the staff were very helpful(which is rare) and the store was very busy but we tried on the shoes and decided on which size after a couple of tries and purchased the shoes.. We went home and discovered that the shoes were actually the right size but two left feet...We took them back a few days later and they were very apologetic and took them right away to go get the correct ones ...They were out of her size but they will order them and ship them right to our house at no cost to us... Yay professionalism at it's best. I love that I did not even have to think about what to do, and that this was offered to me without even a question..I would give 5 stars but there were two left shoes after all.. read more

Selection of shoes is great , if a bit pricey (saw same shoes at Nordstrom and Macy's for $5-7 less). Had the WORST customer service there today. I had ordered a pair from their sister store Shi. Returned due to fit issues and manager denied me, saying they were worn. Well, yes, for 1 min. at my house! He pointed to a minuscule change in the side of shoe as his reason. After 10 minutes of arguing and telling him I would be happy to come back to speak to general manager, he begrudgingly returned them. Their corporate website lists several other stories of return issues due to "worn" shoes. Please do not shop at this store!! read more
