The lovely set we purchased. Handmade, sturdy, so pretty!

We stumbled across this place after rebounding from a horrible experience at a nearby furniture store on Folsom Blvd. The antique reproduction signage drew my attention. Bestill my heart, their distressed furniture is gorgeous! They have lots of tables, buffets, and gorgeous outdoor furniture. I want all of it! We picked up two pieces for our entry / family room, so unique and stunning. Caroline was wonderful and sweet. Bruno loaded up our purchase and followed us home for delivery free of charge - that is customer service! We were told they get new styles often, so we can't wait to return. The quality is unparalleled. Keep in mind they aren't low-end, so you get what you pay for. Still, nothing was shocking and they did have great prices on pottery and specialty knick-knacks and rugs too!

Mostly dining tables in this place with a country or rustic style to most items carried here. Service was friendly and not pushy.

A great selection of quality furniture and reasonable prices, especially the patio furniture, very sturdy yet elegant.

We worked with George and his professional staff, who built a custom table and benches out of 60 year old reclaimed wood.

He was very patient as we browsed through all of the options for seat design and wood finish. The stools arrived at the exact time he had quoted us. The price was extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the product. We have had the stools for almost 4 months and are thrilled with them. The finish looks just like the sample we saw in the shop. The wood is solid, not like all the particle board garbage you find in the big box stores. We will definitely be ordering more wood pieces from Homewood Furnishings!

We are furnishing our new house and really wanted real wood pieces which are more quality and will last over time compared to all the plywood and veneer pieces you see in furniture stores. After researching options we came across this place online that boasts 30+ years of service and the ability for you to custom order your furniture either unfinished of finished. I wanted a larger dresser which both me and my spouse could use. Jim, the owner was very helpful walking us through the store to show us different options and catlogues of choices based on our taste. We opted for an unfinished pine option around 62" long and 5 drawers high with a colonial trim and antique handles, which ended up around $800. I had also noticed a very cute one of a kind coffee table when we had entered the store (they have some finished and refurbished pieces available for immediate sale) which I had been debating and Jim said since we had made a big purchase he would knock $100 off, great deal! He had refinished an old piece of wood with a buddy and used the bed rails from an old twin bed to construct it, very cool. Jim walked the coffee table out to our car and shook our hands, very friendly locally owned business, check it out!

Meaning that if you're the avid collector of quirky one-of-a-kind treasures, this would be the ideal spot for you to check out. I will say that this location is in a very industrial area of Rancho Cordova as they are directly on Mercantile Dr and tucked in between Trade Center Dr and Folsom Blvd. Parking is as simple as you can imagine since this is a very desolate area surrounded by unmarked warehouses in all directions. I also wanted to say that they do have limited hours only being open Thursday-Sunday from 10am-6pm while being closed Monday-Wednesday. I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 3/7/2026 at around 3:00pm. There were only a few cars parked in front which gave me the impression the majority of those were employees vehicles. Upon entry, I was greeted by a gentleman at the main entrance. I will say that this place is quite huge with aisles and aisles of products that include kitchenware, jewelry, home decor, crafts, books, clothing, crafts, toys, handmade items, furniture, collectibles, dolls, and much more. Just about everything for sale is new and/or near-new with many items that are decades old while being distributed through the vendors. I will say that the prices are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum but as I mentioned, everything is unique and distinctive. Since I already stated the positives, I will tell you some of the negatives. During my visit which was from 3:00-3:45pm, I was literally followed by several employees. I get that they want to completely minimize shoplifters but I could see the staff giving me the stare down in the corner of my eye. This completely tarnished the overall image of my shopping experience as I am someone that doesn't like to be watched when taking my time to shop. Needless to say that I didn't buy anything but just in case you want to visit this business, that was my firsthand experience of what to expect. Finally, if the Rancho Cordova location is too out of the way, Bliss Marketplace also has locations in Midtown Sacramento (27th/R St's) as well as Roseville Square (Douglas/Harding Blvd) with the same hours of operation. They also follow the season/time of year as my visit (which was in early-March) had a lot of Easter and springtime decor. I am sure it gets very festive during the fall and Christmas season. With a nice variety of goods combined with a convenient quiet location but just okay service, I am giving the Rancho Cordova "Bliss Marketplace" an above average four star rating.
