I don't know if they a not choosy of what donated items they put out for sale but my god .. if you are setting out garments that were in a house that had a dead body....PLESE REFRAIN FROM SELLING THOSE ITEMS!!! I visit this place 2-3 times a week. Tonight I came across new military boots at a low price of $10. I was insanely happy and happy, I tried them on to make sure that they fit me and damaged the price tag a little during the fitting, but it remained fine. When I approached the cash register, the barcode did not work and the cashier said that it was the wrong price and tore the price tag in front of my eyes and left for another price tag, when she came back the price tag became 20 bucks and this is also a good price, of course I bought them. The woman was rude and I asked to call the manager to which she said that she was the manager, then I just paid and left. It's terrible that she started discussing me with the next buyer, I got a terrible feeling. read more

Went here recently for the first time just to browse and see what they had and wow was I happy with the items I scored! A larger green vintage serving bowl that seems to be hand made, a handmade salsa bowl, arcoroc pink wine glass, vintage baskets and a sterling silver dish. They have some awesome dishes and serve ware! I noticed multiple sets of vintage kitchen canisters too! Came for nothing and left a happy camper. Have to say I will be back to this location. read more

I had to come here after clearing out mom's house. I must've showed up like 8-10 times in 3 days. They were very helpful and were not rude. I pulled up along side their donation building, pushed the call button and they rolled down a collection cart. I filled it up and then some. They ask you to remove any lightbulbs out of lamps. They have a sign of items they do not accept. If it's not on that sign , then they take it. They give you your donation tax paper. It's that easy. read more

Wouldn't take the items I drive across town to donate and sent me to another location who would "definitely take them. The other location then sent me on a wild goose chase to a third location. read more

Hubby and I frequent this location whenever we need to declutter our home, their attendants are always helpful and courteous! Not to mention this convenient location accepts donations daily from 9 AM to 7 PM! Make sure to press the button as the sign says and someone will come out to take your donations shortly! I would recommend this location for donations, we never had to wait and we're looking forward to shopping inside their store as well! As they say "Turning your donations into jobs" We can stand behind that! And come on who can resist a bargain!? SYOY! :-) read more

Five stars for selection. Four stars for pricing. One star for service. Tuesday, mid-morning. I found some things I wanted and got in line to pay. There were six people in line, and one cashier. She was taking three to five minutes to serve each one. If the store had any concern for customer experience, they'd shift people from other tasks to the registers when more than three or four customers were waiting. No such luck. By the time it was my turn, the heavy glass I was buying was just about pulling my arm off. I stepped up to the register and carefully lowered the load onto the counter. As I was doing that, the cashier called out "NEXT!" I'm standing right in front of you, lady. How about looking before you yell? I paid. As I left, I heard somebody say, "Mary, can you get another cashier?" I looked behind me. Too late, Mary. There's no line at all now. The wait has happened to me before, although the experience has rarely been that bad. I'm thoroughly disgusted. But the selecting and prices will bring me back. read more

I like going into Goodwill stores just to look around to see what they have for sale. This store felt huge compared to the other stores I've visited. I'll definitely be making this store a frequent place for me. The service was good. The employees greeted me when I walked into the store, which was appreciated. The selection was great, unfortunately for me, I didn't have a plan of what to look for prior to going into the store. The value was pretty good. I didn't buy anything at the store during this trip, but the prices were reasonable. read more

I came here today on search of some long sleeve tops for the colder weather. This is a very first time I have been to this location. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere so today I came here on a hunt for long sleeve shirts because the weather is getting cold and I couldn't find where they were at first since I asked the employee who is very friendly and walked me right over to them which helped and also I checked out the jeans that they had available. They didn't have a lot in my size today. Oh well, I know that the inventory changes daily with Goodwill, but I was able to score some cute tops which I was in need of and I was able to get them for a great price for two tops was only $15.98. that is a great deal if I was to go to the mall, I would've spent more than I needed to everybody at this location was super friendly. They have something for everybody. They don't just have clothes. They have household items, toys, and much more. I remember before when I was hesitant about shopping at Goodwill because you think use clothes not true they have a lot of new and used clothing not just donations. They have new items as well. This will become one of my favorite places to shop at. I was very pleased with the items I had purchased today. If you have not checked them out, I would recommend checking out Goodwill of Orangeville great establishment, clean atmosphere and they definitely have something for everybody at an affordable price as well Thank you Goodwill of Orangeville. Since Goodwill has closed many of their drop-off locations since Covid, this is the only option for us when we are in town. We were in possession of some large and expensive items to donate, so we called in advance to see if they would be interested in these items. Manager said "Yes!", so we told her we would rent a truck and deliver them. ($$$$). Rented the truck, loaded the items, transported to Goodwill. Rang the bell. Waited. Waited. Finally a young man with an "indifferent" attitude walked out. We told him we needed help unloading, and he immediately said "we don't accept large items". Panic. Visions of how much we spent on the rental truck and how "fun" it was to load these items flashed through our heads. We explained to him that we had called ahead, and spoken to "XXXXX". (She was super nice, so we don't want to get her into trouble). He kept saying "Nope", and so we parked the truck and went inside to speak to the Manager who told us "YES" to the items. She KNEW we were renting a truck specifically to donate them to the Orangevale Goodwill. We waited over THIRTY minutes standing near the registers at the front of the store, and she finally sauntered over. She remembered our phone call. She said it is "up to the guy working the door". WHAAAAAT? This is NOT what she told us on the phone, and she CLEARLY understood (in our prior conversation) that we were PAYING to rent a van to deliver these items to them. She just kept repeating "it is up to the guy at the door". So we were sent away. Shocked. Thankfully, we contacted The Discovery Shop, and they were very happy to receive the items. Shame on you, ORANGEVALE GOODWILL! We HIGHLY recommend that people donate to The Discovery Shop (American Cancer Society) instead of trusting these people at the Orangevale Goodwill. read more

I lost a shirt somewhere between the cash register and my home. I called the store because I thought it may have fallen out and restocked and let me tell you...they went ABOVE & BEYOND what I expected! My goodness, they did everything in their power which included reviewing the tape of our transaction. My heart was sad when I got home without my blouse, but my faith in good humans was renewed! I 100% will be back and sing the praises of the good people at Orangevale Goodwill, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!! read more

Clean, orderly, with a reasonable inventory. But today was the second time in a month that an item I wanted to buy had no price tag, and I was told to come back tomorrow after the staff got around to pricing it. When I go into a store I expect to be able to buy the items that are on display. I resent having my time wasted by staff who apparently don't care whether they sell things or not. I am crossing Goodwill Orangevale off my list of places to go for bargains. read more

Supposed to open at 8am. It is 8:13am not open. Tried to call number to confirm hours, goodwill web site and Google search phone number listed (same), say the number is disconnected. I will wait a few more minutes and see if it opens up later. If not I guess I will head to one of the other stores that are supposed to open at 9am. read more
