I have tolerated alot from Bel Air in the past four years. Moldy bread. Moldy and mushy produce. Near expired dairy products (milk, yogurt) and bagged produce. Indifferent cashiers. But on my last visit over $8 of the non digital coupons did not load. My digital and personal offer coupons applied though. I entered my number at the payment terminal. Earlier in the day, I loaded my digital, personal offer, and sale advertised coupons in the app like I usually do. This happened a couple times before when loaded coupons or offers did not apply at time of purchase. Raley's has an ad sales price, sales coupon price, digital coupon, and personal offer pricing. 3 of those require an e-account. Grand idea if their e-system consistently works, which it doesn't. read more

I will definitely have to remember to never purchase any sprouts from them or their sister store again. This is the 2nd time I've purchased broccoli sprouts from them without checking them- (my fault) for mold. I purchased the broccoli sprouts approximately 3 hours ago and when I got home, I placed them in the fridge until I was ready to make my salad. I took some out to top off my salad and full of mold! Tops were turning yellow. Just terrible! Whoever is working produce definitely doesn't have the quality of attention to detail. When I was in the store , I noticed the pears they had were beginning to brown and dehydrate. Because I live 15 minutes away I wasn't going to waste the time or energy going back up there when I have a family to feed. But wait...there's more. The customer service at the Asian fusion center is terrible and unprofessional. After ordering from them (I changed my mind later after seeing him wipe his nose while preparing sushi), I asked if they could notify the bakery personnel that they had someone there who had been waiting for a while. The employee replied for me to walk over by the juice bar (past the bakery) and ring the bell. He had clear view of the bakery employees in the back but wouldn't extend the courtesy. IMO he should have notified them and then politely said, "I'm not sure if anyone knows but the is a button over by the juice bar that rings in the back." His rude behavior is a bit to be desired along with his unsanitary food handling practices. Went to check out and heard the cashier talking with a customer couple about his grandchildren dark after swimming over the summer. They also engaged in similar conversation with him stating that they told their grandchildren to not get too dark. Totally inappropriate!!!! Alongside other measures, I think a call to health department and OSHA for starters might help. read more

We went in today for two sandwiches and the new guy said he'd only been working two days and didn't know how to identify cheese or meats so called his supervisor who came in to try and save the sandwiches. When we got home they all fell apart...such a disappointment. It would be helpful if employees were trained before they work. Didn't that used to be common practice? read more

The app is the only way to get sale items and they make hard so you don't get the sales. The app does not work half the time and the internet signal inside the store is horrible. The system is smart enough to give you the discount so why do they require seniors to go to an app, clip a digital coupon, before giving you the sell item. Ralely's is ripping you off. Came in to check for an item while waiting for some other stores in the shopping plaza to open. The store was very large and super clean. They had so many pastry options! I was able to purchase some key lime and fruit tarts, which was new to me since I've never seen the key lime tarts at my local branches. The staff was very friendly and very helpful when I selected my pastries. The self checkout was a breeze and we had an overall great experience. read more

Nice looking inside but pretty much overpriced everything for groceries. Sometimes you will come out ahead in deals on eggs or maybe a dessert, their Tiramisu is pretty good. This store gets a zero for customer service! Stopped in to buy some sodas. When I found what I was looking for and took it to the self check out, the six pack of soda was double what I typically pay for it at other local markets. I thought maybe if I used their discount card it would lower the price, so I asked the service person if I could quickly sign up for a card. The answer was "No", you have to sign up online only. I asked if I could get him to use his in store card like other markets do, and the answer was "No". I asked what the price would be with the discount card, and he then waved his card over the scanner to reveal it was somewhat lower, but still a lot more than other markets. Plus, he just showed me that he could have given me the lower price from his card, which he would not. I left the sodas and walked out, never to return. I will never understand or accept how this lack of customer service exists in retail, just because I don't have one of your cards and you can't track my purchases. read more

Okay so where shall I start ? hmmm so not many places in Folsom to hold a quiet meeting. This place is free to rent on line and you have many food options. Reasonably priced such as pizza which we ordered at 13.99 per pizza great deal right ? They also have sushi, salad per pound and many other options to many to name them all, you'll have to come in and see for yourself. It's very private and relaxing they have beer and wine options good wine for $7.00 a glass with a good pour for those of you who enjoy a HH good wine such as Daou Paso Robles or Michael David freak show ...I know right ? Our Rotary Anne's really enjoyed the privacy and would like to book again. They also have bar bites such as guac and cheese and I believe you can have items purchased from the store as long as it's not alcohol only from the bar they provide. They also have wine tasting for $5.00 for like 5 wines wow what a deal. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The only issue is probably don't have a meeting in a wine tasting night. Nice grocery with good selection. First time here and maybe at this chain. Great location and easy to navigate. Went in today for a few small items to eat from the deli area. Impressed with the room devoted to being able to order at a counter for baked goods, sandwiches, and other expected deli items. I was also able to pursue single serving items in a extensively long cooled area. So many selections! I picked up some country potato salad and...oh my gosh! CAKE! Okay, so I picked up a slice of strawberry kiss chocolate cake also. Try not to judge me too harshly. At least it was just a slice of awesomeness. The way i've seen the store manager treat it's employees is unacceptable. On multiple occasions Ive seen Lesli talk down to employees. This past week I witnessed her belittle a morning person I see daily who is always pleasant and cheerful. I could not stand to watch her treat people like this any longer. I love most of the people that work at this location but it has sure taken a turn in the last few months. We ONLY go to this store if we just feel like going close to home to shop. But I would not chose this as a first choice. Newly renovated it "looks" nice. But here is a couple ideas of why it doesn't measure up: - Their organic section is horrible. So many times the produce is not good enough to pay for. I have gone for 1 ingredient for dinner and had to change what I was making because the item is spoiled. - Many times products are expired. For weeks. See photos. - The prices are much much higher than any other store in the area. - pretending to be Whole Foods with their bakery- which has no vegan or GF options. Weird. I wish to take a moment and shout out to Folsom Belair Café' Team for their exceptional service! I cannot begin to share how wonderful they have been to us. My business partner and I have had the opportunity to utilize Belair's beautiful "Something Extra Gathering Room" recently since our office is not yet completed. The staff in the café are kind and willing to serve in any way possible. I particularly what to thank Shay - Café Team Lead. She kindly calls me by my name, is one step ahead of me on how she can make our experience better in the "Something Extra Gathering Room", and clearly has a servant's heart. I am grateful for her professionalism and service! I would also like to shout out to Brenda in the Deli - On Friday, August 13th, 4 hours before one of our scheduled meetings we booked in the Something Extra Gathering room and spoke to Brenda in the deli. I asked if they could put together two charcuterie boards for two meetings we had booked back-to-back. Even though the policy requires orders to be placed at least 24 hours in advance, Brenda was kind enough to work with her team and put together a cheese and fruit dish that impressed our guest(s). There is nothing more that warms my heart than people who think twice before they just say, "NO", and for people who show by their actions that their work is something more than a place to collect a paycheck bi-weekly! I have been shopping at this grocery store for the last 13 years and I loved it. It was close to my house, the people were very friendly and it was a brightly lit and well organized store. About 3 years ago I moved very close to Raley's. Same company, totally different feel. I didn't like it so I would go to Bel Air even though it was not as convenient. The people there know me and I knew the layout of the place so I didn't have to go all over the store to find something. Recently they completely renovated the store and moved everything around. The staff is mostly different. It is now dark and unwelcoming. It is laid out seemingly randomly. It takes me forever to shop because I am going back and forth in the store looking for things. It used to make sense but it now seems like it was laid out by a moron. I now shop at Raley's because it is laid out in some sort of order. I miss my store but I cannot spend an hour trying to find things. Most of the staff can't even tell me where things are. Bad change Bel Air. read more

This Bel Air is a decent supermarket. Not a normal weekly place we go to for our groceries as we more often frequent Trader Joe's and Costco, but they have most of the items we need if/when we need them. Prices are higher than what I would like, but the store itself is clean, the customer service is good and the lines at self-check out are fast. They don't have a huge variety of bulk items (Raley's has much more options). The produce section is great, plenty of organic options and they have a nice assortment of health and beauty items. Parking is ample since it's in a plaza next to other busy establishments. read more

I am not one to write reviews, but this store has THE worst customer service. This lovely lady from an outer department was very nice enough to try and help me, she was not very familiar with where the item i was looking for was so she walked me up to the self checkout desk, asked for help, and they just looked at me and pointed toward the aisle that i needed to go to and didn't help much further. The store was not busy what so ever at 7pm on a Saturday as the cashier and courtesy were just playing on their phones at the checkstand. I don't understand what's so hard about walking a few feet down the aisle to help a customer find something. read more

We started using the Bel Air E-cart service during Covid. We keep using it because of the ease and quality of the service. Great shoppers with a friendly face. Hardly ever a mix up and more often, over the top shopping choosing veg and fruit that are the best available as if we were shopping ourselves. We come here for shopping, dinner, wine, beer, date nights, you name it. The beer and wine garden is amazing, they have an excellent seating area and patio. The food is fantastic and complements the beer and wine nicely. Cheap and easy date night if you have kids running around. And you can grab a few groceries on your way home. Something in the meat department f-ing STANK the other day. I love buying my ground meat to go home trying to figure out what the heck that rancid disgusting smell is and preparing food just to gag because a towel they used for the meat and didn't wash properly was wiped all over the meat containers. Amazing. I also love it when I have been a customer there for over a year and they still stare at me like I'm suspicious. It's so kind and not profiling at all. Today, I purchased Brandy Fried Chicken, Chow Mein, Barbecue Pork and Pot Stickers from the Raleys/Bel Air " Sizzling Wok" and it made me sick. I suspect the food prepared at the Sizzling Wok could be used by UCD gastroenterology instructors to teach medical interns how to use a stomach pump to remove the Raleys/Bel Air Sizzling Wok garbage from patients. Now they are selling food that requires medical assistance at a medical emergency room. There are so many nice mom and pop Asian food restaurants, please stay the hell away from Rayleys/Bel Air Sizzling Woks. For decades, Raleys and Bel Air markets have taken advantage of people living in Sacramento and surrounding areas by charging high prices for just about everything sold in their grocery stores. That's what I call a monopoly. Those days are going or gone thanks to Walmart, Costco, Sams Club and Winco. Safeways markets is almost as bad. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Raleys and Bel Air markets because of high grocery prices and bad food prepared at Sizzling Wok. read more
