We stopped going to Subway after finding Erik's that's not too far of a drive from EDH. Hands down better food/value than Sourdough Co & Subway. My husband and I always get sandwich combo. I got the green salad and REO Speedwagon. My husband also got the REO with chili Always great service too! read more

As someone who used to live in Scott's Valley, the site of the original Erik's Deli, finding this gem in Folsom, made today the best day ever! I joined my friend, Linda, here for lunch and met the owner, Carly, who was super friendly. One look at the menu and I immediately knew what I wanted! Their delicious Farmer's Market sandwich and a fountain soda. This sandwich was fantastically made, full of flavor, and brought me back to my Scott's Valley days! I confess to doing a bit of a happy dance with every delicious bite. Erik's has ample seating inside and outside. An added plus, Carly and her crew keep this place super clean! It's located conveniently across the street from Target and there are plenty of parking spaces too. Forget any other sandwich place in and around Folsom and EDH...THIS is the sandwich place you are looking for. Go, order, and enjoy! read more

3.75- nice little deli in Folsom! Had no idea where I really was but there were other restaurants in the same strip mall. I got the California crunch! The sandwich was huge and really tasty! I also just had water. The restaurant is nicely decorated. You order at the counter and then they bring out your food. I needed to take home the other half of my Sammy! The sandwich had this sauce called the Secrect goo which was really good. I was told it was like a mayo mustard mix! I would come back if ever in Folsom again- which is rare! Also- they do serve beer on tap! read more

Erik's DeliCafe specializes in handmade sandwiches, salads, and soups. The owner/operator, Carley Olney, has personally served me every time I've been. The variety of choices will satisfy any craving, ingredients are always fresh and high quality, and I love how every sandwich has a special bread selected to elevate the sandwich to be especially delicious. We have been visitors up until now, but we just relocated and look forward to Carley greeting us by first name like she does so many of her regular customers. read more

I haven't been to an Erik's Deli in probably 6-7 years. None really close to where we live any longer. Anyway, we were in Folsom and came across one. We decided to get sandwiches for lunch. Just like I remember it. Nice tasty, well made food. This place is not inexpensive but very fairly priced for the food they are preparing and serving. read more

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I tried the Erik's Reuben, and now I want to go back for some of the specials. I ordered online and drove five minutes to pick it up and it was ready, amazing! read more

If you are in the Folsom area this spot is a must stop for some good sandwiches. I really like their meal deal for $19.79 which has a story behind it when this business actually all started in 1979. I also do love the roast beef sandwich it was really great with Dutch crunch bread. I do love the Sprouts inside the sandwich and of course the meat was actually really tender and juicy and it did not make the bread soggy which is great. I love that the special does come with two half sandwiches where you can choose two different flavors or you can choose a soup and salad but I actually went with their clam chowder. The clam chowder is really chunky and it was great but it was missing some spices inside and it was a little bit too chunky for me I like it medium chunky. The service was really nice and informative and I really find this a great Sandwich Spot to stop by when I'm in the area and if I'm craving for one. Thanks for reading and have a yeptastic day. read more

One of the best Reuben Sandwiches in the area in my never-ending search for the perfect Reuben. Very friendly, fast service, and an overall excellent Reuben, which is hard to find! Made to order the way I like it. read more

Nicest young woman at the counter who's welcoming, professional, and helpful. The cafe is clean and open, and there's outside seating that is its own little area. I ordered the special - French Dip - with Au jus and horseradish. SOOOOO good! It was about 30 minutes later when I had time to enjoy it, and it was great. There are lots of choices, and the prices are very reasonable considering how much it is to eat out now. read more

I came here after passing by the place multiple times and after reading the many positive reviews. The place is open, casually decorated with a painted mural on the wall and photos displaying historic Folsom and Johnny Cash (which I will never understand or agree with). The front server was very friendly and explained the menu which looked like super healthy options including ubiquitous sprouts. I ordered Abbott's Habit which is basically a roast beef sandwich with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and their secret Goo Sauce on a French roll but I opted for lettuce instead of sprouts. The sandwich was very fresh, warm and tasted very good but a little on the bland side. I think they should make their Goo sauce more of a thousand island type dressing. The clam chowder was very good as well. read more

Normally this place is amazing and I love coming here! But dang the two girls today where so disorganized they where having to ask people what their orders where etc and tried to bring me a half Sammy that would have cost me 13.00? I was so confused that I paid that much for a 1/2 and when I said hold on let me grab my receipt she was a bit irritated by that! I'm glad I did that because she could not remember what I paid for. Plus it took almost 30 mins for my sandwich this wasn't even lunch rush hour . Hopefully this was just a off day read more

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately my sandwich was just ok. The dutch "crunch" bread was spongy, no crunch. It was quick to arrive and had everything I wanted on it but sadly lacked flavor. Of course they want a tip at the counter for a total of $40. We wouldn't return here read more

This cafe was recommended by my coworkers, so I gave it a try and was not disappointed with the food! The turkey Thanksgiving meal sandwich was delicious and so was the carrot cake the only thing was that it took forever for them to get my order out to me and I was almost late for work but other than that, I did have a good experience. Very nice looking cafe. read more

My daughter has a sensitivity to Gluten so we are always looking for sandwich places with Gluten Free bread options. I will say, the sandwich she got was excellent. What was really the difference maker was the Gluten Free bread. The majority of GF sliced bread options tend to be crumbly in nature. This bread was soft and fresh and stayed together while she ate the sandwich. The ingredients were fresh and on point. It was clear that the sandwich was made with care and wasn't put together on an assembly line. read more

The food is fresh & clean tasting! The service is always amazing no matter what time you i day I go in

Thrilled to find a location in my new area! Years since enjoying this chain have not seen a reduction in quality. Love my Abbott's Habit sandwich. Just as good as I ate in the Bay Area years before. This location is easy to fine. It's a long parking lot so not hard to find a spot. They seem to work well for those that ordered online. I ordered at the counter during lunch hour yesterday and had my sandwich and potato salad within five minutes. The store is clean and welcoming. There is seating inside which was largely filled with lunchtime guests. An area outside is fenced in and likely used when the weather is more permitting. read more

Located where Beach Hut Deli used to be, it has been remodeled to host 7-8 tables and decorated simple and cleanly. The staff was friendly and they had a bench for anybody waiting for a table or their order. Sprouts Red Onions and Tomatoes are their base sandwich toppings like Jersey Mikes. We got our order to go so we appreciated the bench but they had our order completed pretty quickly. Ciao Down - 8 - Thick square of ciabatta roll with sprouts piled high Along with red onions and a hot cherry pepper combination. An even amount of chicken breast and salami with a couple slices of Swiss cheese completed the sandwich. Upon first bite you get a lot of ciabatta but then the sprouts and cherry pepper quickly take over. The salami and Swiss cheese bring a light zing to the party. The chicken breast is like the friend at the party that sits in a chair and reads magazines...who invited them? I'd choose a different bread and a different partner meat next time but it was overall tasty. Turkey w/ Pesto - 7 - Dark piece of oat covered sliced wheat bread filled with Turkey and complimented with avocado and finished with sprouts and pesto (vs pesto spread). I found the sandwich pretty plain as I didn't get much from the pesto and I was going that the wheat bread had more flavor. I got most flavor from the sprouts and the avocado which isn't a sandwich at all is it? My wife rated it an 8 or 9 and would order it again. Sprouts is the key to Erik's deli but I LOVED the cherry peppers. The bread was fresh as were the toppings I'll definitely come again to explore more of their offering in my quest for the perfect sandwich! read more

Great quality food, very friendly service. They gave an extra orange wedge for the kiddos, which I totally appreciate. Subtracted one star only because it says they top all their sando's with sprouts and mine didn't have any. Not a dealbreaker but I have to remember to ask next time. read more

They need to hire more people or get a better system. I've been twice and both took way too long to get the food. The last visit took 40 minutes for one sandwich! The person at the register said they're a little backed up and it'll be 10-15 mins, but she didn't say it until after I paid. I didn't think I'd lose 40 minutes of my day. There are three or four other sandwich shops in the neighborhood that will get your food right out to you if you're in the store. So if you're trying to get a quick lunch to-go, look elsewhere. read more

10 stars if we could! This team puts the fresh menu together perfectly for every order! Sandwiches, salads, soups- and their carrot cake is the best! The bread choices are varied, the meats/veggies are combined beautifully. We eat there weekly! The menu changes to fit the season are so fun. We've ordered online for easy pick up for up to 10 people several times. ....Always ready on time, packaged perfectly. We love this store- it's clean, and well-run by a friendly, cohesive team. My family and I went to Erik's DeliCafe on a hot Sunday afternoon. The sandwiches were amazing! I had the half sandwich and soup combo and the clam chowder was incredibly flavorful (even on a hot day). My sister got the Pilgrims Progress and couldn't say enough praise. And the sandwich was big enough to have half a sandwich for work the next day. We sat inside because it was too warm, but they have a amazing side patio area that's perfect to bring your dog when it's cooler or later in the afternoon shade. The service was also quick and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good sandwich spot. I know you will enjoy it as much as we did! read more
