The Beach Hut in Folsom is AWESOME! The location is super close to where I work. There is ample parking and a multitude of indoor or outdoor seating. They have plenty of clean tables and booths or their bar seating. I took my daughter to lunch here today and as always their staff is super friendly and helpful. I inquired as to the gluten-free wraps and YES they have them! I shared my experience from the Lincoln location and shocker...they have a different owner. Makes sense. Today was another terrific experience from the indoor seating to my super yummy sandwich. Which, btw was superbly made! Deliciousness in a wrap! Why does this place have such low reviews. Shawn in Oceanside told me I had to try this location and look for Steve. I didn't see Steve but the staff here are super friendly. I was a bit skeptical bc of the low review scores but these sandwiches were delicious. They toasted everything perfectly and filled it with meat. Our kids ended up finishing the High Tide. The service was good as my kid interrupted one of the girls to ask for a cup for water and she gave one cheerfully. - Santa Cruz: the bun was soft and the sandwich tasted delicious. It had generous slices of pastrami and avocado. My only complaint was the portion was small for the price ($15) - Beach BBQ chicken: the sandwich tasted delicious! They have four sizes that go by increments of 3 inches, 3", 6", 9", 12", and it's on the pricey side. 20-something for the largest size, but they do put a good amount of ingredients on the sandwich (still overpriced). My family and I live close to this location and always go back hoping it's going to be as good as the first time, years ago We just picked up our to go order and was extremely disappointed, called up the store and we couldn't get an answer even to voice our concerns. Got a salad which we paid for extra chicken on it, when we got home, there was possibly 3 pieces on the whole salad, not only did it look like they didn't add extra but that it was missing chicken. Asked for the dressing and sauces on side, they forgot all of them. So I had a dry salad. Got a meatball sub, which had 2 full meatball but the third looked like a piece of a meatball, as though it broke in half and was placed inside, I can't imagine the teen making this looking at the size be being like yup looks good put it in the sandwich. It made the last half mostly just moist bread. Got another turkey and asked for extra cranberry and same thing, barely any cranberry was on it. It was drowned in mayo but cranberry sauce looked like it was purposely placed lightly on the sandwich. It just makes me wonder, if I try again and do another chance, even tho we constantly have problems and pay at a price point in which I would expect this not to be even a problem. read more

Was walking around while getting smog done next door and saw the new Beach Hut deli open up where it used to be a pizza place. The interior and outdoor seatings are fully redone! It's very vibrant and fresh ambiance. Multiple Large TVs for sports Channels and a bar hut in the center with tall chairs. People were very friendly and found out from the owner they just opened 10 days ago! Walking in I could smell the flavorful pastrami through my mask! I resisted temptation and ordered their super salad with quinoa edamame corn and choice of Romain lettuce. Also ordered takeout of their California vegetarian sandwich 6". Both tasted great. Again fresh and flavorful. Looking forward to coming out more and try some of their less healthy bites and beer on tap. read more

These sandwiches are nothing special. I got the Surfin Bird and couldn't finish eating it. Not because it was so huge, which, it was; but because it was so damn salty! This was the saltiest Turkey I've had in my life. There was like one extra crispy piece of bacon the length of the sandwich, a small smattering of avocado and a meager portion of lettuce. However, when the total rang up and I clicked on the precalculated tip option, a total of $81.53 was staring back at me from a small screen in a deli. The boys loved the sandwiches and they enjoyed the beachy theme and TVs, etc.. My sandwich (the Hobie), was tasty as I remember (once I saw it on the menu, I remembered that it was my 'go to' sandwich), but it did not have the volume of deli cuts that I recall from previous visits. The beer, on the other hand, was filled right to the brim! Nice! Again, it has been some time since I last visited. We tried the new location & newly-remodeled Beach Hut Deli today and it looks great inside, very clean with lots of room, a huge improvement over the previous layout! Front staff was very welcoming & took our order: I had the Beach Bikini turkey-cranberry on a wheat roll, the roll was nice & soft. They even warmed the sandwich for me which made it even better. My wife had the Cali Caprese veggie: a "hot" sandwich which includes melted cheese, pesto, & balsamic vinaigrette on toasted garlic bread which she really enjoyed. And, you can get a 1/2 of any sandwich, which we did. The Manager Steve was out & about greeting people, and we enjoyed the whole lunch experience. This location has better in & out access than their old location, and they should do very well here -- there was a line out the door as we left, so the word is already getting out! read more

Good except for ... This was our 3rd, & last, visit to Beach Hut's new restaurant in Folsom. The decorations, cleanliness, & food are 5 stars. However, the MUSIC is so LOUD it is difficult to carry on a conversation! On the first 2 occasions, due to the LOUD MUSIC, we ate outside with 2 business associates. During our 3rd (& last) visit we could not talk business with a client & it was too hot to set outside so we left without ordering. Perhaps Beach Hut turns up the music to reduce dine-in customers? If so, they are succeeding. For us, we will dine somewhere else! read more

Came in on my lunch break for some nachos, ordered extra cheese, almost 20$ nachos without even having any type of protein, and it was mostly chips. Whatever. After I started eating I realized, I needed more cheese, so I went to the counter to see if I could order another side and she says "I mean I guess" lol, who says that? Carly. My girlfriend and I went Friday night to their grand opening. They had a live band who were really good. The food line was long but moved fast. We ordered food and did not wait long even though they were busy. The prices were reasonable and they gave me 2 free t- shirts. All the staff were very friendly.
