Love this little place!!!!! Old fashion burger taste, we had the A1 steakhouse burger and shared the fries. They are just a little stingy on the fries, so I will get my own next time because I love their fries. Cleaner, nice workers, decent prices and did I say it tasted really good and good music, definitely not super loud but can be heard!!

My husband and I were in the Folsom area and decided to give Wayback Burgers a try. Parking was a bit tight and crowded, but once inside, the restaurant had plenty of seating and felt roomy. The menu was easy to navigate and the staff was friendly--our cashier asked all the right questions, including if we wanted drinks, sides, or sauces, which I appreciated since I always forget to ask for ranch! My husband ordered the Double Bacon burger and a Red Velvet shake, and I went for the large cheese curds with ranch. The burger, according to him, was decent but a little on the flat side, and while I tried a bite of the bacon, it didn't really stand out. The cheese curds, however, were really tasty fresh out of the fryer and especially good dipped in ranch--definitely had me going "MMM" on the first bite. The highlight of the meal was the milkshake--it came with a mini slice of red velvet cake and had an amazing taste and texture. My husband even said it might be one of the best milkshakes he's ever had. Overall, the food was okay--not bad, not great--but the milkshake alone made the visit worthwhile. We're curious about some of their other menu items like the fried pickles, so maybe we'll give it another shot sometime.

We came around 7 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. The staff were very friendly, and when there was a problem with the kiosk (menu items weren't listed) where you can order, they were helpful. The food was freshly made, hot and tasty. The restaurant was clean and in good repair. We'll definitely come back

The Double Bacon

The Cajun and Double bacon burgers were on point. Cooked perfectly and Patties were Crispy yet juicy. The veggies were fresh. The fries were cooking just right. You can order on the tablet or with the cashier. Definitely a good stop for a nice classic burger or a fancy loaded one.

We visited this place for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There were a handful of people in there but not overly crowded. We placed our order at a kiosk without any problems. We waited about 10 mins for our food. Everything was correct and tasted great. Chicken tenders were crispy but not dry. Chicken BLT was so flavorful. Fries were hot. The onion rings needed to be cooked a little longer in my opinion but still good. Overall a good lunch for a decent price

Fast and friendly staff. Greet you right away when you enter. Burger was good. Well seasoned. Toasted bun. It's a small establishment. They stay busy with tons of to go orders. Had the ghost pepper burger, just wish it was a little more spicy. Other than that it was a good burger. Will return for a second visit if I'm in the area

Amazing staff and food is pretty good. But I ain't paying $8 for small tenders. Portion size could be bigger. Please make them bigger

John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs! Five star dining for all of you who love a delicious hot dog.

I wouldn't give that crap to my dog! Anyways, I was a bit PTSD after that and didn't have high hopes for LZ as I view them the same type of dining establishment. I could not be more wrong. Everything BJ's did wrong, LZ did right. From the host counter, to seating, to even the smell of the place, it was right. Table spacing, right. Decor, right. Waitress, right, right, right!! She took our order and didn't even have a pad or pencil. I thought well, it's just the two of us, but I saw her at the next table, 4 people with lots of options and she didn't need to write a thing down. We started with drinks and candied bacon. Just great! Hardly anyplace has diet coke, only Pepsi, but LZ has my diet coke. Thank you! We each ordered from the $15 menu. Me some sort of BBQ bacon cowboy burger thing and my wife had shrimp tacos. I asked for medium rare and it came medium rare. The lettuce and tomato slice were cold, the burger hot and the bun warm. Right, Right, Right. I substituted fries for onion rings and got plenty. The oil was good, not the freshest, but that's o.k. too. Some sort of dipping sauce, no ketchup, but after tasting the sauce, I didn't need any ketchup anyway. I did salt the burger and rings, but that's just me. Most folks would find them seasoned well enough as they were. The meal comes with individual sized dessert. I had some sort of brownie/ice cream thing which was awesome! My wife had the banana pudding. It was exactly like homemade. The wafers were fresh, not soggy, the pudding cold and chilly. While the brownie was warm with gooey sauce and a solid scoop of ice cream. All was right with dessert. The only thing I would have liked was our waitress to check on refills, but I did fine as it was a tall glass to begin with. We were on our way to Harris Center for a concert and this was a great place to hang out before and probably after too, if we were with another couple. No left overs, we ate every bite and enjoyed ourselves. We will be back regularly.

You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth.
