Came to try the new Dubai milkshake. It was very tasty. Loved the texture and balance of sweet and crunchy taste/texture. It was cool to crack the sides of chocolate into the milkshake. I honestly expected it to have some chocolate flavor but it really doesn't. That being said, and being the chocolate lover that I am, I don't regret trying it but I would pick something different. There also seemed to be a discrepancy in the price, it stayed the limited time shakes were 6.99, but the Dubai one was not one listed, however, there was no other prices for it on the menu. So o thought that the price was steep for a milkshake. So this was a one time experience for us. It was over $23 after leaving a $2 tip for 2 Dubai milkshakes. 3 stars for the value. We ordered this to-go. The staff was super helpful and engaging and greeted us upon entering. 5 stars for service! We will try other flavors in the future and the burgers looked really good too.

Dubai milkshake

I went to Shake Shack solely to try their Dubai milkshake--and it did not disappoint! It was solid. The presentation was beautiful with a chocolate shell around the cup, a creamy pistachio milkshake, and kataifi on top for that extra texture. It was amazing and totally worth the visit. I haven't tried the food yet, but I definitely plan to go back for it. You can order at the counter or use the self-service tablets, and they bring the food out to you, which is a nice touch. Overall, a great experience for my first visit!

May 30, 2025 - Single patty Shackburger, fries, and strawberry lemonade.

May 30, 2025 - Folsom, CA Our first time here, and it was a little confusing to order. Do we order at the kiosks, or can we order at the counter? Apparently either is okay. You order, then they bring the food to your table. We both ordered the ShackBurger (single, $7.99, 500 calories) quarter pound patty of 100% Angus beef with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. It was the perfect size for me, and was cooked perfectly, char-grilled, just the way I like it. We split the fries, which were also delicious. Crispy on the outside, tender inside with just the right amount of salt. We sat inside. It was a little loud, but the tables were well spaced, so you weren't seated super close to other diners. Good experience, good food served quickly and with a smile.

Review is for the Dubai shake. Delicious and totally worth the price!! Service was kind and fast. Great location in the Palladio! Shake was nicely made!!

Craving a burger and was going to stop at our regular spot but wanted to give this location a try. The burgers average about $12-$15 each. We ordered our burgers with bacon and when we got them there was no bacon inside , also after we gave it back to re-do they brought it back out but there were no sauce inside the burgers which made it extremely dry and hard to eat. At this point we just ate our burgers with ketchup as it was getting cold. The Pattie's were cooked well but definitely wishing the whole burger tasted more full filling with all the correct condiments inside. Onion rings were good but very small portion and not enough for sharing. The lemonades were watered down. This is a self service restaurant you order at the kiosk and pick up your food at the counter.

Ambiance: Basic self serve hamburger place. Nothing special. Service: People greeted you as you entered and stated if you need help ordering at the kiosk; just ask. The kiosk is pretty basic. Food: Bacon Cheeseburger. Let's just say In N Out has NOTHING to worry about. This burger was good and cooked well. Just not worth high price. Crinkle Cut Fries. These are always an excellent choice and cooked well. Just remember everything is priced separately; no break on combos. Just not their style. Chocolate Shake. I really thought this is where the difference maybe due to the word Shake in their name. Let's just say that In N Out and Carl's Jr. is better $25.00 and change for the three items. Your basic meal. Definitely owned by an elite!

Bravo! Less than a week open and it seems this location is running like a well oiled ship. We arrived on a Wednesday: kiosks all working, employees friendly and knowledgeable. We got the limited edition black truffle fries, black truffle burger and my favorite: the shack stack. All came out fresh and delicious! A staff member made the rounds asking everyone if they needed anything else including refills on my lemonade. I didn't know they offered free refills! Been missing out all this time at other locations. I will be back probably more than I should, as this is right next to the Tesla supercharger!

Asked for BBQ burger NO pickles and they put pickles on it.

I ordered online and only realized when I got home that my order was completely wrong. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know and asked if there could be any compensation for the time, effort, and gas it would take to return for a remake. The manager, Wayne, told me I could either have the order remade or get a voucher and said that a remake IS my "compensation" for the inconvenience. This completely ignores the real issue. A remake does not make up for the time and effort it would take for me to go back, and a voucher doesn't help if I already need dinner tonight. I had already spent time, energy, and money traveling for this order, and being told that a remake is "enough" is frustrating and unfair. Mistakes happen, but customer service should acknowledge the actual inconvenience caused. Shake Shack should consider a fairer approach for customers who are inconvenienced by errors, rather than offering a solution that ignores the real cost to the customer.

I've included pictures from our two visits. I was not able to review them when we visited on opening day, due to the business not yet being available on Yelp. The hubster and I returned tonight for an early dinner. Inside you have the option to order at a kiosk or at the counter. We have now done both and they are equally effective. If you want friendly and human interaction wait for counter ordering. The interior is kept very clean. There are options to sit at tables or booths inside or tables outside. Both visits we sat inside and did not have an issue finding a place to sit. Staff is VERY friendly and courteous. Something in short supply these days. So I appreciate finding this and let them know. On to the food... these are NOT your ordinary, run-of-the-mill fast food burgers. I would rank Shake Shack Burgers above In and Out and perhaps even slightly edging out Five Guys for flavor and freshness. Their fries are crinkle cut...not my favorite, but mighty tasty. We also shared a soda and have yet to try one of their shakes. Their prices are on the upper end, but it is nice to treat yourself to a delicious bite and especially enjoy the staff that work there so why not! Pop in and give Shake Shack a try.

First off. Yes shake shack is expensive. We all know that going in. I've had shake shack twice. Once in NY and again at one of the airports. Both were pretty average. I went to try out this location. Had their special truffle burger. Fries and the pomegranate drink. Burger was delicious. The bun was really good. The drink was great. That great balance of sweet and tart. Fries were bland. The biggest issue is with ordering. You walk in through the door. There 2 kiosks to the left. 2 cash register in front. There is no directed lines. People are clumped up here waiting for food or ordering. It's nearly impossible to tell where the line is to order. It's messy.

Arrived (June 20. 2025 around 3:30) and when the "cashier" greet us she directed us to the self serve (not realizing taking her job). Complete our order and arrives fine. Restaurant appeared clean and young man was sweeping. Brought our food and there were missing items. Had to go up and ask and seemed as though I was bothering her. We ate our food and our daughter wanted a refill of her soda and NO one came up to help nor asked if needed any help, three of them just stood there, until I had to use my dad voice to get their attention. Again, she appeared to be bothered. The irony I have a tip of 18% at the kiosk before being served. I should have waited and determined after my service like I normally do.

This was my first visit to Shake Shack. It's located at the Palladio in Folsom. I went on a Friday around 1130am, so parking was plentiful. I was greeted by a staff person as soon as I entered. The menu and order/pick up counter are right at the entrance. In addition to a variety of burgers there are vegan options, chicken sandwhiches, hot dogs, soft drinks, milkshakes and even a selection of beer and wines! The entrance is full of light and very welcoming. There are several seating areas inside and out. I ordered a single burger with no cheese and fries. I sat near the entrance and observed a steady flow of customers ordering to eat in as well as those ordering to go or delivery service pick ups. My order arrived in about 5 minutes (they bring it to your table). My burger was a delicious smashed burger and the crinkle cut fries were fresh and hot. As a staff person was delivering an order to another table, he stopped to ask me if my order was ok. I was pleasantly surprised by that because most fast food places do not check on you after you receive your order. 5 stars for the excellent customer service! Overall a great place to stop in to satisfy your hunger and experience great customer service.

First time going to Shake Shack. What the picture looked like on the app vs what I got. One burned $6 grilled cheese. Yikes!

Chicken sandwich was more breading than chicken. $7 for 6 onions rings is absolutely insane.

Clean (minus the clutter on the bar top) . Some local beers and ciders on tap. Outside seating area was spacious. Fries had a great seasoning. Chicken strips were big. Cons: did not feel very welcoming. The main server seemed like she was not wanting to be at work, and continued to make snarky remarks back and forth with the cook that we were able to hear. The inside needs a refresh with the decor imo. I feel like it could be amazing if they followed through with either the prison or dam theme more. Smoky inside and needs more ventilation. **adding that after reading reviews, I don't love how the owner addresses concerns toward visitors.

The slider was a bit too spicy (it's not THAT spicy) for my wife which meant more for me. The fries were done just the way I like them. The fries come with ketchup as well as cucumber wasabi ranch, which was just a little spicy. My wife stuck with the ketchup. We then decided to split an order of Korean barbecue beef. The meat was thinly sliced and deliciously marinated. The rice and the cucumber salad were very good and the stir fry vegetables were cooked perfectly with just the littlest bit of crunch left in them. Everything was delicious. Our server made sure that our drinks never got below half and our bill was promptly brought out as soon as the take-home box was delivered. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff was really hustling and we were in and out in an hour without feeling rushed. It is a brew house vibe and there were TVs tuned to hockey, NBA basketball and NFL Football. The crowd checked off every demographic. I loved that they were almost completely full, yet it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. It's no wonder two different sets of friends said this is their go-to restaurant in Folsom.

Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised to find what looked and felt like a local upscale pub with a large bar with TVs and various tables scattered around. The menu offers something for everyone, and the portions are generous. I opted to start with the garlic bread with a dipping sauce, followed by the Southwestern chicken salad entree special. The bread crust had garlic baked onto it, and the dipping sauce was huge and flavorful. The Southwestern salad exceeded my expectations. It was huge! The chicken was grilled and blackened and cooked to perfection and served on a bed of fresh lettuce with black beans, chopped onions, and blue cheese with a spicy dressing that was fantastic. The dish was so good that I'm tempted to go back tomorrow night. If you're looking for a casual dining spot with a friendly local vibe and amazing food, Manderes fits the bill! I appreciated the fact they had a couple of NA beer options along with a nice selection of beer on tap. Highly recommend!
