Just ordered chicken pot pie and 2 piece special. Easy right? Not. After 15 minutes I stood at counter, the person that was in line after me got their large order. The cashier told me they are working on my order. There were 5 employees working but not efficient. The only person hustling was the cashier who eventually got my order as I was waiting at counter. I accidentally ordered an order that only offered hot or spicy and my dad cannot eat either. I went and asked the cashier who then asked her manager and they were able to switch our order with another that was of the same value. We appreciate this service because we know how difficult it can be to do changes and substitutes. However, it's always a wonderful thing when the service is able to give you the fullness of customer service. They currently offer daily deals and $4.99 meals. If you have the app, there are additional discounts. When I've done online ordering for pickup, the food is prepared pretty darn close to the set chosen time and the bags of food are sealed to prevent tapering. The restaurant was clean and well organized, which I appreciate with great music playing in the background. Renee was helpful with our order as some in my party were indecisive . She was patient and provided us the best option/value for our purchase. The drink selection is great as have multiple options and having the ability to decide between beef or yard bird (chicken) is the best of both worlds (A&W and KFC) . Highly recommend, if in Folsom or near come here and ask for Renee, as she will get you the best option and ensure your food experience is PHENOMENAL! Don't expect cold food, especially if you eat in the restaurant, as it took a few minutes, but it was because the made it all HOT and fresh. read more

Food was good, I mean classic KFC and it was hot. Inside the place is very dirty, when I arrived the floor had a massive spill on it. It also looked like the workers had absolutely no intention of cleaning it until they saw that we had come in and noticed it. Other than the inside of the place being pretty dark and dirty, I couldn't complain about the food I got. When he saw me, he added that I did not have to come inside and that he was going to bring it to me. Price - $24+, again when did KFC get so expensive? This was just a snack for my daughter! It would have been a 5 star review if it was not for the price. If I could give this rating a zero I would. After a twelve hour work day I decided to go to KFC on Iron Pt Rd in Folsom to pick up something quick for the family. Last time we were here was mo this ago and it was at best a 3 but thought we would give it a second chance since mashed potatoes and gravy with fried chicken sounded extra good. I ordered a famous bowl, classic chicken sandwich meal with medium fries and drink, a large spicy chicken sandwich meal with fries and a drink + nuggets big box, a small side of gravy, a small side of Mac N Cheese and 4 piece biscuits. Both of the sodas I got were small/ original.. who knows at this point? so I had to go inside and get them to give me the size I ordered. Then I noticed the small side of gravy was missing so I ran back in to get it. I was in such a hurry to get home I didn't notice that they didn't give me my 4 piece biscuits and 2 fries that were supposed to come with the meals! So who's going to reimburse me the money I paid for the 3 additional items? Had I not checked at all I would have come home with only 4 items in the order. This is ridiculous. If it happened every once in a while I'd be passive about it but literally any time we get fast food the orders are wrong or there are things missing. So, who wants to make $20 /hr but suck at the tasks they have? Isn't the objective to expedite an order that someone paid for?! I'll be honest, I prefer Popeyes to KFC in general, so it took me a while to get around to going here. I had ordered on the app and when I got to the drive through window they asked me to park in front of the store and they'd bring my food out to me. After sitting in front of the store for 10 minutes, I went in and the food was just sitting there. No intention of bringing it out to me. Obviously it wasn't that hot when I got to eat it since it had been sitting on the counter for ten minutes. And then things went downhill. Wow! Everything was super salty. Now I'm a person who loves salt, tons of salt, on nearly every savory food. But this food was way too salty even for me. The fries were too salty to eat. I'm old and I've only had this happen a handful of times in my whole life. The chicken was super salty, but edible. Barely. The chicken strips were the only thing that was halfway decent, but only halfway because once again, way too salty for me. Remember, I'm the super salt lover, so if it's too salty for me that's impressive. But not in a good way. I'm debating if I want to give them another chance because I LOVE friend chicken and they're the only local KFC and there's no Popeyes in Folsom. Then 3 more young men asked if I needed help because I stood at the counter to get my kfc bowl. This is the fourth time this location has shorted me on my order. I came in yesterday, picked up my food, and got home only to hear my son ask, "Where's my fries?" KFC, you jacked me again. Previous visits? Missing a large mashed potatoes, a chicken sandwich, and fries--again. I always order through the app, which is convenient, but the pickup process is frustrating. They place completed orders out of reach, so I have to wait for someone to hand it to me. I stand in the designated pickup area, and half the time, employees walk past without even acknowledging me. Most of the staff seem like decent folks--probably overworked or just forgetful. But here's the kicker: the receipt always says, "Your order was carefully packed and double-checked for accuracy by..." and yet, no one ever signs it. They park you immediately, from the drive through. You will then wait 20 to 30 minutes and have to go in for you food. Managers are incompetent and do not help the employees with the rush. All of the employees hide in back by the cook line and do not even acknowledge that customers are waiting. Maybe on regular days this place is fine, but for some reason I associate it with the holidays and once again made the mistake of ordering a couple of meals , online, around Christmas. By the time I got there, I was told they were out of chicken so I had to wait 20 minutes , it was longer, plus they cannot give me any drink with my meals because they didn't have carbonation , alternative was milk, which I said no to, it was a long day and and I didn't want to push for refund of missing items, there was no offer to adjust the price so let I let it go. I was then told they were out of sides except fries and onion rings , by this time I know it will be too late to go elsewhere as it's close to 7 on Christmas Eve, I paid $44. for two pieces of dark meat, a half filled order of fries, and onion rings and 12 nuggets. Unfortunately, this KFC has earned its downgrade. Ordered online for pick up when they opened at 10:30AM but the main dining room was still locked at 10:40AM. Went through the drive through and was only given one of two food bags. Good thing we doubled checked before driving off- when asked the staff tried to say that was all the food until they found the second bag in the back. The chicken seems like it may be old. It was extremely greasy soggy and the breading was falling off the meat. Since the restaurant just opened I would think it would be a fresh batch but seems like leftover chicken that was not sold the day prior. read more
