40 WINGS
Neikan M.

I'm actually quite shocked that this place has a 3/5 on yelp. I haven't been here in years but came on a Monday night and the place was packed. We ordered 4 different style wings, seasoned fries and garlic fries, and everything was amazing. The wings were fresh - hot, crispy and juicy. And the fries were so crispy and packed to the top of the container. This place is levels better than Buffalo Wild Wings so definitely give it a try

We ordered dozens of wings to go. I've had fire wings many times. And I'll just say the flavor never disappoints Peking, salt n pepper, Thai, peanut. Always good. 5* Service always good. The reason for the lower rating. What happened to the size? They shrunk tremendously. It's been a long while. These sizes are disappointing. Kinda makes me reconsidering wanting to visit again. Hoping it's just a bad batch from the provider

First time coming here. I've been to other locations and was disappointed to taste oily stale fries and chicken from this one. Seemed like I was eating recooked leftovers from another customer's order. Parts of the chicken was brown/black.

Wall ac unit not even turned on - nothing to see here guys - it's just for show

Why is there no air conditioning here? It's a 100 degrees and no ac. Even their wall unit is turned off. We called the natomas location to check whether their AC was working and even they confirmed that their AC wasn't working so we came to the sunrise location and it's just as bad. I shouldn't be sweating because of hot weather. I should be sweating because of the spicy chicken. Oh and Chicken was refried and not fresh - we ordered a 10 and 5 piece of wings we got 12 legs and 3 wings. I don't get it.

Order Buffalo bonless. This is what I received. Trash.

Where is the old team?! This place has been a wreck the last month. Went to eat there 2 sunday straight for football. Everytime I come in, bad customer service, food is old and fries are cold. I get it, new management, new team, but can we get the same quality of food! If it wasn't my friend's and I living 2 mins away from there, I wouldn't come back. WHERE IS LISA!? WE WANT LISA BACK!

Disgusting experience today! Nasty service from Jenna W. ( she always greets you with " what a fu.. k are you doing here look and than will treat you like sh..t with 10+ score!) Reheated leftover wings ... no more comment ..

Salt n pepper, Peanut and Louis

These wings are the best in the area - my fav go to at Fire Wings is Salt n pepper, peanut and Louis. See picture. Also they are open late night every day till 12am - my go to late night snack place when I get hungry after dinner or for late dinner - this place has a cool ambiance too. They recently changed new management and you can tell right away that theres a difference with this place - new management really emphasized on customer comes first! Good customer service from Jordan and Kelvin. Definitely coming here more often as they are open late now. I recommend you give this place a try.

After reading some reviews on here I was hesitant to try this place. I came in the other day and I had one of the best service (thank you Lisa), and had absolutely delicious food! The store was very clean and had many flavors to choose from. One thing I regret is not trying this sooner!! I AM HOOKED!

The best salt n pepper wings in town!

The wings were not breaded and were REALLY hard, almost inedible. They offered extra sauce and I understand why.

I think that was a good call because some of those other locations sucked, skimped on portions, gave me food poisoning, etc etc. This has been my ride or die location since the beginning though. Staff is always friendly enough, wait times aren't ever too bad, and the parking lot is easy to get in and out of. The store has always been clean, and feels like a mom and pop shop. I always get the same exact order which is the large Kiki's fries with an extra tender added to it. It comes with cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch, fries, and the tenders. Sometimes I'll go ahead and get garlic fries which is always jut as good. I always specify that I want the fries tossed in the garlic though otherwise they just throw it on top. I've tried competitors versions of their fries, including from Taco Exxpress in the same parking lot, and they never are as good as what Kiki's provides. I have never had a bad experience at this location and for that, I thank the staff greatly.

New Owner Alert! Happy Hour on Saturday!…read moreBest experience here in a long time. The staff is happy and they are loving the new owners. They had a game of darts going on in the party room with some regulars. We were pleased to see the new happy hour menu. We had the Bbq sausages and the jalapeño poppers. More changes are coming! We ordered the food and it came out pretty fast. - Smoked wings: wings are good and tender. The sauce was good but nothing spectacular. The veggies that came with the plate were not fresh - BBQ brisket sandwich: good sandwich. The bread was soft and the coleslaw was crunchy and well seasoned. The fatty brisket was good and flavorful but for the price, I was hoping to get more brisket. The tatter tots were crispy and good. - Kids cheeseburger: it was okay. I'd say it was a slider instead of burger. But the bun was soft and the patty was well cooked. The fries were good and crunchy. The kids menu said that it came with kids drink but we got charged for an ice tea.

I do have one suggestion. I completely understand and appreciate the elevated vibe they're going for--it's part of what makes the place special. That said, I think there may be a bit of a missed opportunity with the bocce ball courts. There are large signs saying kids can't play on them and must stay with adults, but honestly, I come here at least once a quarter and they're often not being used. Given the location and the number of families in the area, it could be interesting to consider adding a small playground in the back. I know that might sound unconventional for a place like this, but I've seen restaurants do this successfully in Europe. What's really missing around here is a place where parents can enjoy an incredible meal and drinks while their kids have a safe place to play nearby. Right now, the only places that come close are breweries. There are almost always families here when I visit, so just a thought! Either way, Shangri-La remains one of my favorite spots.

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.

We weren't asked if we needed refills, how our food was, or if everything came out correctly. At one point, I had to get up and go to the bar myself just to order another drink, which definitely took away from the overall experience. It felt like we were completely forgotten. The atmosphere and food may have potential, but the lack of attentive service made it hard to fully enjoy our visit. Hoping this was just an off night, but it wasn't a great experience.
