Buffalo Wild Wings is a solid spot if you're looking for a bar atmosphere that's also good for the family, with plenty of TVs showing sports--especially fun during UFC nights or NFL games. I usually go during happy hour on weekdays since appetizers are half off (minus the sampler) and there are drink specials. Best deal is the ultimate nachos--add chicken and guac, and you're set. Wings are the main event, and bone-in, extra wet is the way to go. I mix up my flavors a lot, but Thai Curry is my favorite for its balance of spice and flavor. Other go-tos are Original Buffalo, Caribbean Jerk, Mango Habanero, Spicy Garlic, and Garlic Parmesan. Service can be hit or miss, but I'm not there for the service. If your food comes out fresh and hot, it's a win. My wife likes the All-American cheeseburger and the original chicken sandwich--they're great when they actually show up hot. Overall, it's a good time if you know what to expect.

You know, shout out to Bdubs. In my opinion, the wings have tasted the same for 10+ years and I have always enjoyed coming to the Folsom location. Are they the greatest wings ever? No. But the consistency and variety of menu items are great. Service is good as well. I just wish the chicken was a little juicer; some of my bites were quite dry.

Love the team here along with the environment! It's a nice visit for a drink, family dinner, or a date. Pretty much satisfies all your needs. I think I've been here 3 weeks in a row now because I enjoy it so much. Definitely will keep coming. It's been really nice watching the basketball finals here since they provide so many different screens. The previous reviews are kind of off putting but I try to keep in mind that as time goes by, new hosts and servers come onto the team, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. Seems like the team is much better now!

The happy hour at this spot is pretty great with all draft beers priced at $5-While also having Jameson-Tito's and Cazadores priced also at $5 There are many discounted foods available during happy hour, prices anywhere from $5 to $12. These foods range from pretzels to BBQ meatballs, Fish tacos and pizza. We tried the BBQ meatballs ($6.00) and they were extremely tasty. We also tried some beer from Urban Roots and a few Jameson shots-they both hit the spot. The service at this bar was great, the waitress was super friendly and checked on us multiple times. This place is a typical sports bar scene, with TVs in every direction and many sports to choose from for your viewing pleasure. The waitress told us that on weekends they do show UFC events live, which is always an added bonus. Overall I think this is a stellar sports bar and a great addition to the Folsom area providing an incredible spot to hangout with friends and root for whatever team makes you happy. PS-This bar also features "All-Day" Happy Hour on Sundays-so I can just imagine how incredible that must be on football Sundays in the fall-See Ya Soon.

Poppy's Bar & Que…read more Before walking on the Johnny Cash Trail, we decided to try out Poppy's Bar & Que on East Natoma Street across the street from the community center. We saw the smoker in the front of the building. I do luv me some good ole BBQ. So off we went. We ordered a double down plate $26: two 7oz protein choices with cole slaw on brioche and an 8 oz side choice. Brisket and pulled pork were our protein choices with and potato salad. We bought another side, macaroni salad. We requested that the pulled pork be placed on the side and additional sauce. I dislike being that customer with persnickety preferences. But we were, and they didn't blink an eye. Super accommodating. The pulled pork had a deep smoky flavor. Tender shredded pieces. Mmm. The sauce was served on the side. That too was delicious. Hubs had the brisket and wolfed that down before I could swipe a piece. Darn. The potato salad was tasty. Slightly tangy, which I really liked. The place is family owned and operated. It's a sports bar and family friendly bbq joint. Giving off family friendly vibes. But hey, a bar and family friendly? Yes. They both co-exist harmoniously. Talking about sports. The TVs of course are tuned onto sports. All of the screens are strategically placed throughout. They even have framed signed football jerseys from USC Trojans, Denver Broncos, and 49ers to name a few. Pretty neat.

It is located in the Palladio, but still offers a decent amount of parking. The inside was huge - with a massive dining area and TV screens to match, a large Sports Bar and an even bigger arcade area. We had a party of 7 and were seated immediately - we ordered the Chicken Strips with Fries, Fire-Grilled Salmon, Calamari, Kids Pepperoni Pizza, Spinach Dip and Fish and Chips. Everything was actually pretty decent and we enjoyed most of what we ordered. We also went with a Strawberry Margarita and the Million Dollar Margarita which were both very good as well. Along with our meals, we did the Eat & Play deal - we did 1 with the $35 Power Card and 1 with the Unlimited Game Play for 90 minutes which was definitely worth it. 90 minutes is plenty of time, but the tickets max out at 1500 which is the only downsize. They had a ton of games like different types of Pac-Man, Space Invaders, a UFC game, basketball hoops, Guitar Hero and even a ride on Hungry Hungry Hippos to name just a few. They even had a giant claw machine that you could be strapped into and grab giant inflatables - it's an additional $20 to play though. Our family also loved the Cotton Candy machine - they were works of art for only $7! Overall, we had a great time, but the Prize Center sucks and is one big pyramid scheme like most arcades. We will be back again soon!

As the former Prime Minister, Winston Churchill (during WWII) of the United Kingdom would say,…read more"Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts." With that said, I am a sucker for a good British pub as I've always been a fan of the atmosphere that goes with it; lots of beer choices and of course, British food! This includes fish & chips, bangers & mash, Scotch eggs, Shepherd's pie, and much more. This takes me to the heart of Folsom where I had the chance to check out "Churchill Arms Pub". Located directly on East Bidwell St and in between Glenn Dr/Wales Dr in a very commercialized part of Folsom, this very popular pub has been in operation dating back to mid-2012. Prior to that, it was still a British pub but under a different name, Streets of London. And if you want me to go back even further, this is where a Denny's once stood for many years. During the times I have been here, parking has never been an issue as the primary businesses are a Dollar Tree and a McDonald's. Since it has been a few years, I figured why not give this place a try to relive some old memories. First of all, the interior is fairly dated but that adds to some of the rustic charm of the place. Don't expect shiny or upscale counters as this place has straight bar vibes. Here you will get that aroma of stale beer and a hint of some comfort food traveling through the vents. However, the bar area is quite spacious (with at least a dozen barstools). Additionally, they offer a lot of tables for actual dining as well as a billiards table, a dartboard, arcade machines, and a respectable amount of TV's for watching the games. The layout is quite typical of what you'd see at other sports bars/pubs/restaurants. As I previously mentioned, the menu is quite extensive as they carry a ton of British-inspired dishes. Additionally, they carry a nice variety of burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, soups, salads, appetizers, and kids meals. Beer selection is also quite extensive as is a huge assortment of spirts/hard liquor drinks. Since I had just eaten about an hour prior to arriving here, I was craving a refreshing cold beer. Therefore, I settled with their "Mango Wheat Ale" on tap which was a fairly reasonable $6.75 (as of mid-2026). My bartender was sweet and accommodating as was the vibe I got from the patrons that were enjoying their time there. I will say that my time here was well spent as I had thoroughly enjoyed my beer. However, the ambiance and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Some of the negatives were several flies swarming throughout the inside of the building as well as it not being very sanitary. Some of the fixtures looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in years so I hope the back kitchen isn't as bad as the main area where customers sit. All in all, I would recommend coming here for the drinks but as for the cleanliness, the food might be a hit or miss. With that said and done, I am giving "Churchill Arms Pub" just an average three-star rating.
