Be cautious of reviews of this location, I noticed a lot of low reviews from real profiles but then a random 5 star review from profiles who have strictly reviewed this location shortly after negative which is high suspicious. And these 5 star reviews appear shortly after a low 1-2 star review. I highly doubt they turned around their buffet in a week considering how far back the complaints go about it. I've reported my buffet experience from last Friday to the Mountain Mikes contact page but have yet to receive a call so my review still remains a 1 star for this location. We visited this location over the weekend as a large family. It wasn't busy inside so we were able to receive our food quickly. I have attached pictures of some of the things we had ordered. This location was clean, including the restroom, which we all appreciated. The games weren't turned on and we had a few kids who wanted to play. Also, the tv's were on but muted. Stay away from the buffet false advertisement and the owners watch you eat your food they also seem miserable! It makes you uncomfortable to even enjoy the buffet. Very cheap buffet with no options and it's not as advertised as far as price it's like $16.99 and their soda machine was dispensing nasty flat soda. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUFFET! They should just stop having a buffet it's a joke! They bring out the pizza one by one and wait for you to eat it lol bad experience! Also ambiance is nothing special! Atmosphere - 1 star - not inviting at all, only 1/2 of the lights were on. Pizza - 2 stars - there was literally 1 pc of sausage per slice, sauce was barely present and added no flavor. At $35 toppings shouldn't be a problem. Dont be cheap on the meats!!! Fixings - 1 star - they had no cheese available or sauces. Service - 1 star - we had to ask for everything. Not friendly at all hiding behind the plastic wall. What a shame. Won't be coming back to mountain mikes. Very friendly. We have been coming here forever and they would make sure to have the kids' favorite pizza when we come in for lunch buffet.

We ordered 3 mountain size pizzas for a lunch and learn at work. They delivered it perfectly on time and even set it up for us in our meeting area. The pizza was delicious and fresh. The chicken club was by far the best with a pleasantly surprising amount of toppings for such a large pizza. Everyone really enjoyed it and how it wasn't a greasy pizza. Ordered a pick up, said it would be ready at 5:35pm, got there 5:45 and was told another 10 minutes. Pizzas finally came out at 6:15. Seems like they put them in when I got there. Also witnessed young man that was working cash register earlier grab a jar of pickles for my pizza, dunk his ungloved hand into the jar and then put pickles on my pizza that was fresh out of oven. When we got the pizza home I was further shocked to see the pickles slices were ripped with his fingernails and bare hands to be put on my pizza. So gross, not food safe! I stopped by to get my free personal pizza after the Kings win a couple nights ago. This was my first time here at Mountain Mike's. The place is very casual and clean. The manager didn't know how to ring up the promotion so she just charged me for a soda. The pizza was ready after a few minutes and I took it home. My son and I ate it pretty quickly. It was very good and tasty. I will definitely consider coming back and getting a bigger pizza next time. read more

Coupons are always available. Pizzas are hot, fresh and delicious. The salad bar is fresh and stocked with good variety of veggies. The people working there are friendly and get the orders right every time...might not sound like a big deal, but it is when other places make mistakes and you end up with the wrong order or part of your order missing. I haven't eaten at this particular location. But, I went to the one by the Safeway in El Dorado Hills several years ago. The pizza was allright, nothing special, but the prices even at that time were higher than even Round Table pizza, which is my favorite place. (One star is to be able to write this review.) They deserve zero. Stopped by here on a Friday to try the buffet. Buffet starts at 11am. Showed up at 11:30am, paid and waited for about 15min for some food to arrive. They brought out a cheese, pepperoni and combination pizza. Pepperoni was really the only good tasting pizza so that was gone first. The salad bar looked ok...although the lettuce did look wilted and not very appealing ( most likely the same from the night before). Did not see any dessert dishes showing up during the time we were there. Waited for more of the pepperoni pizza to show up but that did not look like it was going to happen. Paid $36 for two people....had 1 soda each and about 4 small slices of pepperoni pizza each. Do yourself a favor and don't stop by here for the buffet....completely overpriced for what you get. I ordered a personal pizza and 20 oz. soda for pickup on Sunday to enjoy and watch the 49ers game. When I went to pick up the pizza I ask for a side of ranch and they said 65 cents each. I was shocked, since their ranch containers are so small. I declined and said I'll use my own ranch at home. This was really petty. Honestly ranch should be free. It costs them peanuts to make. Whatever. When I went to eat my pizza at home, I notice it was really doughy like it was under baked. I went to take a swig of my soda and it was super flat. I checked the date and it expired over a year ago. Now if it was a few days or even a month expired that's forgivable. But to be over a year old?! No wonder this place has such bad reviews. Food is good. Service and accuracy are hit and miss. Ordered over the phone. It was like talking to a young Ben Stein. When I picked up I was told it would be done in 4 minutes. I inquired 12 minutes later and they pulled my pizzas out of the warmer. There were only 2 tables being occupied and I was one of them while I waited. Not like they were busy. Normally we get Mountain Mike's pizza delivered from the Blue Ravine location and it's delicious. They've got a perfect pizza skill going there. On this one occasion earlier this week our order was delivered by the 717 East Bidwell location. It was also quite tasty. But within an hour both my son and I had terrible stomach cramps, all over aches and headache, and diarrhea. It listed for nearly two days for both of us. We took Covid tests and were negative. And after the second day we were all better. I called the location and spoke with the manager just to ask if she could order check the hygiene of her workers. Anything can happen occasionally. But her response was without apology, "that had never happened here. All is good. No one ever complains." And that was it. No apology, no offer to watch hygiene a little more carefully. So that's why I'm submitting this review. Because my effort as a loyal customer to give management an opportunity to fix a problem affecting the health of customers was not met with a decent response. So at least the information is out there. Caveat Emptor. read more

The wait times are usually accurate, sometimes they get busy, but that happens in this type of business. Personally, it's still worth the wait! Compared to your run-of-the-mill Little Caesar's or Dominoes, Mountain Mike's is top notch. I don't understand how there are so many negative reviews, especially with how long we've eaten here. After my daughters softball tournament in July 16,2022, decided to rest and eat at this nearby Mountain Mikes location. It was early I believe they just opened close to 11am so we were the first customers there. We sat in their party room area as we were a party of 11. We ordered wings and a mountain size pepperoni pizza and maybe it was because we were tired and hungry but the food tasted great. As I was cleaning up the floors after my small children I was shocked to see a dead cockroach on the floor under one of the tables we ate at. I immediately regretted eating there and didn't even bother taking the left overs. So gross to see if it was out in the open like that I can't even imagine what's in the back in the kitchen. I've only been to one Mountain Mike's Pizza and that was when they were located next to the Safeway in EDH on Green Valley Rd. The price for a large pepperoni pizza was outrageous. I swore I'd never go there again. Apparently, a lot of people felt this way as the store closed a year or two later. The pizza was good, I'll give them that. But, it was nothing special that you couldn't find at most pizza joints. Maybe the new one in Folsom has better prices, who knows. read more

I come to this location on a weekly basis due to the fact that my job works me out of town in Folsom almost every week, it's always somewhat difficult to get any ranch out of them but they usually "show up" with at least one less than you asked for but tonight after I had already tipped them ( I always do) they told me ranch was an extra cost!?
