Tri I tried a totally different pizza than I usually order, Garlic Lovers, and it was just delicious! I also ordered the Mediterranean Salad which was really good! I've never had a bad pizza from Pizza Guys but this one was a Wow! It was so hot outside, I had it delivered instead of picking it up. Beware..... the "free" pizza you receive after points is a farce. Unless you plan on ordering an additional $15.00 worth of food the "gift" of the coupon is worthless. The food was delivered on time, but it all looked like it took a good beating before it was delivered. One of the large pizzas was inedible due to how folded over the slices were (thin crust). The sauce on the breadsticks was all over the place and a little messy to eat. Delivery not recommended. read more

I've been ordering from this Pizza Guys for many years now. This store has steadily improved over the years until now it's really great. I always order online for delivery and I'm right at the limit of their delivery area. I guess I must order at the right time of evening or something, but I rarely have to wait more than 15 minutes, if that, after the system tells me the pie is on its way, even with me being out in the sticks. Delivery folks are always nice and accommodating. I really appreciate them. Good pie at a good price. Tasty good stuff. Yum! read more

Thought that was a bit crazy but choices are limited here so said okay. 1 hour 45 minutes later called back, was told the "call center lady" shouldn't have told us that and that our pizza was "just coming out of the oven now" should be there in another half hour. Cancelled. Your business is booming right now but your customer service is worthless. When everyone else opens back up, I hope your properly rewarded. So this was the worst experience I e ever had here. Normally this location is awesome. They tell me what the specials are, quick delivery and great service. Not today. I initially ordered for delivery. No biggie. The total was over $85 for three pizzas and some chicken wings. Not a lot of food. Asked for the special the nice girl on the phone said she gave it to me. I thought it seemed odd it was so much. Decided to pick up instead, saving me $4. Wow. Great. Picked up the pizzas in person and the potty bald guy said there were no specials. So whatever. But as I was leaving the fuc**ing special is on the window! Would have saved me money. Thanks guys. I used to work at Pizza Guys Cameron Park in high school. It is not that hard to make a pizza and deliver it on time- or so I thought. The man on the phone was very kind and alerted me that delivery times were a little longer than normal, which I was fine with. I let him know I needed change for a 50 as that was all the cash I had and he said the driver would have it. Well over an hour and a half since ordering and 40 minutes after I got the "your pizza is out for delivery" text the driver showed up stoned out of his mind with pizza. He had to ask me to do the math on the change (50-29) and didn't even have the right amount of cash so I could leave him a tip. And to top it off it was obvious the pizza had sat in the box too long and it was barely warm. I love pizza guys, I worked there and want to support the company but I'll never order from this one again. read more

The pizza was cold even though we only live 10 minutes away. The toppings were thrown on sloppily. Once we asked for a thin crust and it was burnt. The sausage isn't Italian. We won't waste our time with them again we've given them three times. read more

We usually order with pizza guys not because of their below average tasting pizza but because of the convenience of being one of the only delivery pizza places around. This time around not so.much, in fact I am now cooking dinner. We ordered special pizzas because of an allergy which we told them about. The pizza came of course with the allergy ingredient on it which I luckily checked for. I opted to wait another hour for the pizza. An hour passed I called in to have them tell me they called and knocked on the door. I never received a phone call or missed call. And there is a sign on the door that says ring doorbell. I am in a house full of people I think I would have heard it. They offered a free pizza next time. Yea that helps a lot now that I am cooking my kids dinner at 730 at night and missing the final four game. Very good experience. Ordered a special offer online, paid by credit card and chose my pick-up time. Lots of specials on the website to choose from (if you scroll to the bottom of the page). Was notified by text about 7 minutes before my chosen pick-up time that our order was ready. Walked in and received a greeting and friendly service. Asked me if I needed plates, napkins, cheese, peppers. Was even given a free bottle of soda and extra ranch. Pizza had a good amount of toppings and was very tasty. I'm not usually one for pre-baked pizza but I tried it tonight out of convenience and exhaustion. I ordered a small thin-crust chicken & artichoke pizza for myself and a medium all-meat pizza, plus hot wings. Added some Greek salad to the order. The customer service was awesome and I gave him a $10.00 tip. I think maybe they were rushed and didn't finish baking my pizza or put ingredients on it which had gone bad. Or someone was sick while working. By early the next morning I was sick to my stomach and felt like I had food poisoning. I still feel sick. I refused to eat the leftovers and asked my husband if he would try it, in case I'd just caught a virus or something. He ate it at work today and came home with an upset stomach. Whatever the problem was, we won't be returning. I gave 2 stars for customer service, but then again, I gave them an extra $10! read more

3.5 stars. We always use delivery. Service is friendly and our pizzas get to us on time. It's not the most fantastic pizza ever (which is hard to do for me considering I'm not the biggest fan of pizza). But it's comfy and homey and Pizza Guys is our go to pizza place. BD usually ordered a large cheese and a large pepperoni with a side salad. We never use coupons so the bill is usually around $40. This time around BD ordered me the white pizza with sausage and mushroom and it was pretty good. I ate four slices right off the bat. We ordered the wings before, not a fan. Pizza Guys is legit for us. It feeds us for a few meals and decent enough for us to order from again. read more

No stars..... negative if I could, but yelp is making me pick a star rating. This place is a joke. Placed my order by phone and was told it would be about 25 minutes. I live 20 minutes away. I got to their location and checked in, I was told it would be a few more minutes. About 5 minutes later the counter person checked and said my tag was still 4 out and it would be about 30 minutes to get my order. An hour for a call in is totally unacceptable for any place at any time. I told them to cancel my order and I'll never be back. Good luck if you visit this joke of a store. read more

I used to love Pizza Guys. It's still good when prepared properly but it's hit and miss. We picked up two larges Monday and couldn't wait to go back. We did last night. My absolute favorite pizza place this side of the Mississippi. They always have the best coupons, best customer service, and best pizza - how could you go wrong?! My personal suggestion - Extra Large, double cheese, double sauce, deliciousness. They have pesto breadsticks, and regular breadsticks, and they are fantastic! If you like, pesto - try these bad boys out! They have additional items like wings, and jalapeño poppers. They are all a great addition to your pizza. They use high quality ingredients and the love they put into their menu definitely shows. The employees are always wonderful (especially Steve and Courtney) and their delivery service rocks. We order from pizza guys quite often without any problems. It's cheap and convenient and normally delivers quickly. Tonight we ordered a pizza and it took over 2 hours to get to my house. On top of that our pizza was cold and soggy, almost like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hours. Also we weren't given any napkins or plates. Great gluten free pizza! Had it with the creamy garlic sauce. Superb. the price wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. Most people charge out the wazoo for gluten free. With out the extras that we added on, it was only $15 or so for the medium. Me and my bro were able to split it. Should be No star!! Worse customer service ever. I ordered pizza from placerville pizza guys but they refused my business because I live 0.5 mile outside they delivery limit. Then I noticed they charged me for my cancelled order. I let it passed 48 hours for them to refund me but never happened. So today (7/22/18) I called them and asked for the manager. Bad customer service experience again from Oliver "the general manager" no apology what so ever regarding the delivery policy and said they already refunded my money. I am gonna wait till Monday or Tuesday for my money see they refund me back my money. Then I requested the owner contact number and her refused to give it to me and told me to NEVER EVER call the store ever again (he yelled and screamed at me)...who do that?? I'm gonna keep looking for the owner of this franchise and let him/her know.
