I used to be a big fan of Marco's Pizza. Their garlic Parmesan crust was one of the best around and was a big reason I kept coming back. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience at this location. After about a half-dozen visits, the quality has been inconsistent. The pizzas are sometimes overcooked, the garlic Parmesan crust no longer has the same buttery garlic flavor I remember, and the overall taste just isn't what it used to be. It feels like either corners are being cut or there's simply a lack of attention to quality and consistency. The atmosphere also left an impression. During my most recent visit, the manager appeared disheveled, with his shirt buttoned incorrectly, and another employee seemed completely lost while working. While appearance alone isn't everything, it reflected the overall feeling that the location lacked pride and attention to detail. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially for a brand I've genuinely liked for years. I'm sharing this in the hope that management takes it as constructive feedback. This location has the potential to be much better, but based on my recent experiences, I can no longer confidently recommend it. The pizza is still decent, but it's gone from being a place I'd enthusiastically suggest to friends and family to one that's simply "okay." read more

We always love Marco's. BUT several days ago we ordered our regular Pepperoni Magnifico and this is what we received...see pic. Seriously? I called and was told that this is the second time it happened today. He said he will cancel my order so I could receive immediate refund. Just checking bank account and no refund initiated. Decided to go through Door Dash afterall; of course, they do their best and got me most of my money back (clearly I was not requesting driver's tip), but still paid for long distance fee and service fee. Thanks to Doir Dash it wasn't a TOTAL rip off by Marco's. Disappointed in one of our Go To pizza stores in Folsom. (Does ANYONE ever order a "pizza" that looks like this? Do better Marco's. Perhaps question the customer if you THINK this is what they ordered before shipping it out? Especially if you already had "the same thing happen today". read more

Our go-to spot for pizza! The owner is always very friendly and accommodating. We prefer Marco's over other places due to the quality taste (pizza isn't overly salty like most places) and prices are fairly reasonable. read more

I ordered three medium pizzas, for a group of volunteers, helping to put together a special dinner for a nonprofit organization here in FOLSOM. They were given detailed instructions on where to be Delivered and at what time, which was about an hour after I ordered them. The pizzas never showed up. My volunteers were angry and hungry. I let Marcos no how unhappy we were, asked to get a call from the manager, but never heard from him. I guess they would get one star, and will make sure that everybody we know knows about it. read more

I have ordered from this restaurant many times and have always had wonderful experiences. On one occasion, my pizza had an ingredient with a slightly off taste. I called the restaurant the following day and spoke with an employee named Mon, who was incredibly kind and immediately offered to remake my pizza free of charge. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner personally greeted me and let me know they had remade my entire order. We had a brief conversation while everything was being boxed up, and he was apologetic, and attentive. He explained that he regularly checks all ingredients for freshness and wasn't sure what went wrong, but was more than happy to make it right. The restaurant is clean, the staff is welcoming, and the food is consistently good. This level of care and accountability is what truly matters--and why I will continue to be a loyal customer. read more

Marco's was highly recommended by my investment banker who is from Brooklyn, NY. I decided to give it a try and found an incredible coupon online (50% off a large speciality pizza) and did an online order. My total was roughly $13! Wow! I did curb pick up and the employee came right out and knew my first name, very nice guy! The presentation was perfect, made with care and quality! The toppings were plentiful and flavor was so good!! We got the garlic crust which I would order again. The pizza in the photos is called the grilled chicken, and I added black olives. The pizza was delicious and a fraction of the cost of other pizzerias. Highly recommend!!! read more

Very polite crew, good service, good food, would highly recommend if in the area and looking for a good pizza :)

After reading reviews we decided to try Marco's, we've always been prone to Circos and Classico. We were pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were fresh , pie dough was cooked well and had good flavor and texture. They weren't overly generous with the cheese but I can always add more. Owner gives you best price, we got 2 medium pizzas for $24, can't beat that price for a decent pizza. We will try a few more pizzas but so far the two times we purchased pizza it was consistent in flavor. Customer service is very good and pizza made timely. read more

I was in the area near Green Valley Road and Blue Ravine (in Folsom) and needed to bring home lunch pronto. So I popped into Marcos Pizza. It was my first time ever ordering from Marcos. It took less than 20 minutes to get a hot medium pepperoni pizza. It was cheesy ooeey goodness with glistening, deliciously greasy pepperoni slices. The crust was bready and soft with a nice chew. It was a simple basic tasty pizza done right. Nothing fancy... nothing wrong with that. Plus the staff provided terrific customer service. The cashier was awesome. I asked if they had any specials, he provided one. But I found a better one on the website. I showed it to him and without hesitation, he applied the larger discount of $7.99 for an one topping medium pizza. They put a good amount of pepperoni on the pizza. The pizza had a nice cheesy stretch. Again it is a simple, tasty pizza that won't break the bank. read more

The pizza is great here, always fresh when I order. Order is done on time and service is on point. I will be returning for more pizza!

First time here. Bought 2 pizzas. Crust too doughy, not enough sauce, skimpy toppings, not cut through and a lack of flavor. Won't be back.

Great little pizza shop in Folsom - perfect to grab a pie before heading over to the lake for a picnic or an afternoon. Great service - very friendly local young folks working here that are respectful and courteous. High quality pies with very tasty ingredients. Prices are a little on the higher side but what you'd expect for high quality pizzas. Quick service and was able to get in and out in 15 minutes. Plenty of parking in the lot nearby. No seating indoors, so you have to grab it to go, but everything is packed well. Recommended and would definitely be coming back when we swing by Folsom Lake again. read more

Great deal on pizzas means everyone gets what they want. That's a win! The pizzas were all wonderfully tasty! Will be going back soon.

We had our go to pizza spot we liked to support before we found this one and this was was definitely a game changer! Lots of young high schoolers it looked like working and they were pretty nice and accommodating. We ordered half and half pizza consisting of both Hawaiian and Supreme Meats. It was served on a thick crust and was so delicious! We also got a side of Buffalo wings and those were amazing as well. They paired perfectly for the football game. This is a pretty cool joint to get your pizza so definitely check them out! read more

I found this place very weird. First of all took the nice girl about 10 minutes to accept $100 bill like she never saw one before . second the pizza really had no taste, way too much cheese, and now about 25 minutes later, we're having terrible stomachache. Best of luck to you . read more

Pizza was so good, the dough was crispy and fluffy, the ingredients were very fresh tasting. We got the BBQ Chicken pizza and the cheesy bread. Our 3 and 5 year old loved it and so did we! My family and I are near weekly customers. I am very picky when it comes to pizza. Cannot stand pizzas from the likes of Papa John's/Murphys, Mountain Mikes, Dominos, etc. Marcos has the best flavor, best crust, best cheese, best sauce. Eveything about it is best! Our go to is an X-Large Big Cheese add Old World Pepperoni & Pineapple w/ all crust toppers. We call it in and the service is always outstanding! Lots of younger kids but always kind and friendly. We only order delivery so can't say what the atmosphere inside is like but if it's anything like their delivery experience, I can expect nothing less than perfect! Ono Ono! read more

Our preferred pizza joints have shifted over the 10 years we've lived in Folsom. Coming from the Bay Area we had a preference for Round Table for a regular pizza, and Zachary's for deep dish. When we first moved to Folsom we fell in love with Chicago Fire. They were great for a few years, but then their quality began to wain for us, and their prices became a challenge. We then went back to Round Table only. Round Table was always hit or miss. We never knew if we were going to get a good one, if the toppings would be correct, etc. I was also never a fan of their wings. Their prices have gone up, they closed the Bidwell location (which we preferred) and modified their rewards program. We always wanted to try Marco's and we finally did. Our Marcos is owned and run by Manh and his family. We've seen him making deliveries, his wife working the pizzas or at the register, and his son helping out. All of them are a delight, and they personalize the experience with their customers. They truly care about each customer, and they want every customer to be happy. We have never had a bad pizza, honestly. They've always been correct. We really enjoy their pizzas and I like their wings. They always have specials and they have a decent rewards program. Unfortunately their rewards program is run by corporate so if you have a problem with the rewards it can be challenging to resolve. We are diehard Marcos fans now. We actually have a Wednesday ritual of pizza and wings. Manh and his family always remember us and ask how things are going. Also, very important, our orders are always hot and correct. We feel good about supporting a local, family owned business. Give Marcos a try with your next pizza! read more

Marco's Pizza - The Works - Pizza Near Me - Folsom, California

Dudes what happened tonight? We ordered a pizza and chicken dippers. The pizza was good but the chicken dippers were about the size of a quarter. It was like the employees were cleaning out the fryer and gave us the little left over scraps. Sorry but this is NOT acceptable. Don't do this. WTF???? We were feeding people not cats. If you order from this location the pizza is ok, the chicken sucks. To the Marcos Manager: If you are out of something then tell the customer. Don't give them garbage and expect them to pay for it and be happy. For customers: Check your order before you leave and don't accept this mess. read more

Was craving pizza and hopped on Yelp to see what's open, and saw Marcos was open until midnight! Ordered two large pizzas, and wasn't expecting much to my surprise I found two picture perfect pizzas. They literally look better than the picture on the menu. The taste is almost like a mix between homemade pizza, and pizza chain. I'd argue the best of both worlds convenient, solid amount of food for the money, good taste, and seems to be quality toppings.... I'll be ordering again soon! read more

Don't be fooled by the corporate produced glossy pictures of overfilled ingredients on top of a perfectly prepared pizza. Watching the employees count out the specific toppings, is very entertaining and doesn't come close to what is falsely represented by the glossies.
