We always love Marco's. BUT several days ago we ordered our regular Pepperoni Magnifico and this is what we received...see pic. Seriously? I called and was told that this is the second time it happened today. He said he will cancel my order so I could receive immediate refund. Just checking bank account and no refund initiated. Decided to go through Door Dash afterall; of course, they do their best and got me most of my money back (clearly I was not requesting driver's tip), but still paid for long distance fee and service fee. Thanks to Doir Dash it wasn't a TOTAL rip off by Marco's. Disappointed in one of our Go To pizza stores in Folsom. (Does ANYONE ever order a "pizza" that looks like this? Do better Marco's. I have ordered from this restaurant many times and have always had wonderful experiences. On one occasion, my pizza had an ingredient with a slightly off taste. I called the restaurant the following day and spoke with an employee named Mon, who was incredibly kind and immediately offered to remake my pizza free of charge. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner personally greeted me and let me know they had remade my entire order. We had a brief conversation while everything was being boxed up, and he was apologetic, and attentive. He explained that he regularly checks all ingredients for freshness and wasn't sure what went wrong, but was more than happy to make it right. The restaurant is clean, the staff is welcoming, and the food is consistently good. Marco's was highly recommended by my investment banker who is from Brooklyn, NY. I decided to give it a try and found an incredible coupon online (50% off a large speciality pizza) and did an online order. My total was roughly $13! Wow! I did curb pick up and the employee came right out and knew my first name, very nice guy! The presentation was perfect, made with care and quality! The toppings were plentiful and flavor was so good!! We got the garlic crust which I would order again. The pizza in the photos is called the grilled chicken, and I added black olives. After reading reviews we decided to try Marco's, we've always been prone to Circos and Classico. We were pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were fresh , pie dough was cooked well and had good flavor and texture. They weren't overly generous with the cheese but I can always add more. Owner gives you best price, we got 2 medium pizzas for $24, can't beat that price for a decent pizza. We will try a few more pizzas but so far the two times we purchased pizza it was consistent in flavor. Customer service is very good and pizza made timely. read more

It took less than 20 minutes to get a hot medium pepperoni pizza. It was cheesy ooeey goodness with glistening, deliciously greasy pepperoni slices. The crust was bready and soft with a nice chew. It was a simple basic tasty pizza done right. Nothing fancy... nothing wrong with that. Plus the staff provided terrific customer service. The cashier was awesome. I asked if they had any specials, he provided one. But I found a better one on the website. I showed it to him and without hesitation, he applied the larger discount of $7.99 for an one topping medium pizza. They put a good amount of pepperoni on the pizza. Great little pizza shop in Folsom - perfect to grab a pie before heading over to the lake for a picnic or an afternoon. Great service - very friendly local young folks working here that are respectful and courteous. High quality pies with very tasty ingredients. Prices are a little on the higher side but what you'd expect for high quality pizzas. Quick service and was able to get in and out in 15 minutes. Plenty of parking in the lot nearby. No seating indoors, so you have to grab it to go, but everything is packed well. Recommended and would definitely be coming back when we swing by Folsom Lake again. read more

Our preferred pizza joints have shifted over the 10 years we've lived in Folsom. Coming from the Bay Area we had a preference for Round Table for a regular pizza, and Zachary's for deep dish. When we first moved to Folsom we fell in love with Chicago Fire. They were great for a few years, but then their quality began to wain for us, and their prices became a challenge. We then went back to Round Table only. Round Table was always hit or miss. We never knew if we were going to get a good one, if the toppings would be correct, etc. I was also never a fan of their wings. Their prices have gone up, they closed the Bidwell location (which we preferred) and modified their rewards program. We always wanted to try Marco's and we finally did. Our Marcos is owned and run by Manh and his family. We've seen him making deliveries, his wife working the pizzas or at the register, and his son helping out. All of them are a delight, and they personalize the experience with their customers. They truly care about each customer, and they want every customer to be happy. We have never had a bad pizza, honestly. They've always been correct. We really enjoy their pizzas and I like their wings. They always have specials and they have a decent rewards program. Unfortunately their rewards program is run by corporate so if you have a problem with the rewards it can be challenging to resolve. We are diehard Marcos fans now. We actually have a Wednesday ritual of pizza and wings. Manh and his family always remember us and ask how things are going. Also, very important, our orders are always hot and correct. Lots of young high schoolers it looked like working and they were pretty nice and accommodating. We ordered half and half pizza consisting of both Hawaiian and Supreme Meats. It was served on a thick crust and was so delicious! We also got a side of Buffalo wings and those were amazing as well. They paired perfectly for the football game. Was craving pizza and hopped on Yelp to see what's open, and saw Marcos was open until midnight! Ordered two large pizzas, and wasn't expecting much to my surprise I found two picture perfect pizzas. They literally look better than the picture on the menu. The taste is almost like a mix between homemade pizza, and pizza chain. Called the restaurant 30 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered, and they said they don't have drivers and were waiting for door dash. UM so why are you taking deliveries?
