The food was okay due to the service from the entry in no greeting at the door the 2 ladies were clearly to busy I get it was Mother's Day but no excuse. We came because my friend a Chef said I should nope nope just unacceptable had to take for bread several times waiting on straws for 30 mins but watched her serve the tables around us with care, connection and concern so disappointing. The experience ruined my prefect Mother's Day. My order was not right and it was like oh I only took a picture of the sampler sorry but not sorry

Some amazing Italian food! The service was phenomenal. I was able to eat outside and enjoy the weather too. Started off with a side salad, had some bread and delicious chicken Alfredo! 10/10 all around!!! I would come here again for sure

What a great holiday lunch with my coworkers! Our supervisor treated us to Visconti's, and it was such a pleasant experience. The lunch menu was simple and easy to order from, which I appreciated. I went with the eggplant parmesan with light cheese on top since I wanted something flavorful but not too heavy, and it was perfect. The space has a cozy, home-style feel decor nothing too fancy, just warm and welcoming. There's plenty of seating, with both indoor dining and an outdoor patio. You can choose between regular tables and booths, which worked well for our group. The booth was nice and enough space for us all to sit comfortably. The staff were very nice and attentive. One of my coworkers brought her four year old, and the waiter gave her stickers that he carries around which his daughter gave him to share. Such a thoughtful and sweet gesture that instantly brought a smile to her face. Our food came out in about 15-20 minutes, which was great considering there were seven of us. The warm lighting really adds to the ambiance and gives the place a great date night vibe. I'll definitely be adding Visconti's to my list for a future date night with hubby. Great food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend!

This is the third or fourth time I've been to Visconti and the food was what I expected...it was okay. We ate here because it's my friend's favorite restaurant. We had a table for 15 but only 7 showed up which I felt bad about since we took up double the space (I was not the organizer). Luckily the restaurant was not busy the night. We ordered the fried calamari and sampler plate as appetizer. The fried calamari was a generous size and tasted good. The sampler plate was decent. For main I ordered the Pollo Alla Visconti $28 with the clam chowder and gnocchi as an up-charge since they make the gnocchi in-house (the rest of the pasta is not made in house). The dish was a generous size, though once the additions were made it came to $35 which is starting to add up. The clam chowder was very tasty (though not as good as Scott's Seafood) and a generous size. The chicken was good. I had leftovers and it was actually better the next day. The gnocchi was rubbery and the tomato sauce was ordinary. If I had known I would not have ordered it. My partner got the chicken parmigiana which was okay. I had leftovers the day after and it was okay (ie. It did not improve the next day unlike the Apollo Alla Visconti) Our server was friendly and helpful. I have friends who absolutely love Visconti and I wouldn't hesitate to come back if they choose it, but it would not be my first choice for Italian food.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. We made reservations and changed them twice on a Saturday night and they were very accommodating. We requested a small booth, no problem. We ordered drinks and on a Saturday night, they came out with a small delay which is understandable. Taylor took our order and the garlic bread came out immediately. Most dinners come with choice of soup or salad and a side of garlic bread. Next came the salads. Timing was very good as some restaurants rush the entrees out and they're cold by the time you finish your salad. Wife had the Petrale Sole and I had the Scampi Vesuvio. For dessert, we had cheesecake with raspberry topping. The ambience is excellent, service is excellent, and great food with reasonable prices.

Italian food lovers...REJOICE and dine as soon as you can at Visconti's Ristorante in Folsom! Call ahead of time like we did to make rezzies, because when you arrive your table will be ready and Visconti's is always busy due to their very faithful following! Tonight we were hoping to be seated in Alex's section, but his was full. However, we did get Indiana as our server and she was fantastic! Very kind, ready to answer questions, and exceedingly friendly! Visconti's is larger than it looks with seating inside and al fresco, as well as their ample bar area. The strip mall parking lot has never been an issue for us. Tonight we were seated in one of their very comfy booths. We also love that Visconti's is a family-owned and run restaurant. Our meal began with the bruschetta. The Hubster ordered the Gnocchi with pesto sauce, the MIL had Spaghetti Alla Paisana, and I ordered the Scampi Vesuvio. All three dishes came with a choice of soup or salad, we each chose salad. Dinner portions are very generous and our meals were absolute perfection! Bonus factor is having leftovers to take away for another meal. We have been to Visconti's many times, and I have failed to give them this glowing review...at least I remembered tonight! We have never had a poor meal or bad service and when friends or family need a suggestion our first recommendation is always Visconti's. Bring an empty belly and a large group for celebratory occasions, come here on a date night, or even if you just want to skip dinner and be spoiled...Visconti's staff will ensure each of these is taken care of in the best possible way. Mangia!

Another restaurant to try out with my sister's family. When we arrived in Folsom, everyone was famished. I asked my niece and nephew to pick a dinner spot. They chose Italian. And we dined at Visconti's Ristorante! Our pary of 5 (3 adults & 2 kids) arrived at a semi busy time. The hostess informed us of a short wait and we took some seats in the waiting area. Once our table was ready we seated right away by the friendly hostess. Our waiter was hospitable and attentive., Everyone had there own dinner selections, so I went with the following: - Clam Chowder - Combination Pizza - Linguini Calamari The combination pizza was shared all around. The clam chowder had a "just right" potato and clam ratio in every bite. Linguini was a nice al dente and calamari chewy. The sauce was superb in flavor. The pizza was delicious! You could taste the love that it was made with! Great experience! Great Staff!

We made a reservation ahead of time so we were seated right away. Our server was nice, but nothing super engaging. We started with the ravioli and calamari. I didn't try the ravioli, but the calamari could have used more seasoning. We got the large portion and it was A LOT. The garlic bread had a strong garlic flavor which I liked but I do wish it was a bit crispier. I ordered the Linguini alla Italiana without mussels and thought it had good flavor. The shrimp and squid tasted fresh and were cooked well. It came with a side of minestrone soup, which was decent. We ended with dessert, and that was on us for not checking the price beforehand. Each one was around $18, which felt steep. That said, everyone enjoyed what they got, so at least it tasted good LOL.

Anniversary's definitely look different with kids but we still wanted to celebrate with "fancy" food. We did order to go so can't comment on what the ambiance was like... For the most part, I feel it's a good value for what you get. We ordered the bruschetta, garlic bread, large calzone and spaghetti de campagnia. We were not expecting so much garlic bread so that was a nice surprise but I wish they gave more than 4 slices of bread for the bruschetta. The large calzone was huge and my husband only finished half and the spaghetti was great! We can't wait to eat here in person after such an amazing take out order!

I've been coming to Visconti's Ristorante for many years. It's honestly the best Italian restaurant in the Sacramento area. I could seriously eat here everyday. The dishes in my rotation here are the Veal Parmigiana, Pollo Parmigiana, Pollo Alla Visconti, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Mostaccioli Francisco, Baked Ravioli, and the Tortellini Pesto & Spinach. As you can tell with all of the dishes I have listed, they have a bunch of dishes that are absolutely amazing so it makes it super hard to decide every time I'm here. If you were to ask me for my top dish it would be a toss up between the Veal Parmigiana - Chicken Parmigiana - or the Tortellini Pesto & Spinach. All 3 are insanely delicious. No matter what you pick you will be provided with a side of their amazing garlic bread which is legendary. You will probably get full off garlic bread and will have your main dish as leftovers. You honestly can't go wrong with any dish here. Everything is seriously so good!!! You'll thank me later.

i wanted to see what this place offered before coming for a dinner; i was not impressed by the photos of food so my expectations were meh. we all ordered a pasta dish and kept any changes to a minimum (i.e. breaded chicken instead of grilled chicken). they quickly put garlic bread out and it was absolutely delicious. very fluffy and flavorful. i think we went through like 6 baskets while waiting. it took 45 minutes for our salads to come out and over an hour for our main dishes to come out. it was not busy. although the server was friendly, the wait time was ridiculous. the spicy vodka rigatoni was not spicy at all but still good. overall, the experience was ok. i am more disappointed in the wait time to be honest.

We've driven by dozens of times but had never heard of it. We are so glad we found it on Yelp, because the food is great and the service is amazing. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived, with only one table seated. The hostess asked if we had reservations, and we did not. Apparently we just got lucky and got there right before the whole restaurant filled up. Right after we placed our order, it got busy! I would recommend reservations for next time. Ian was our server and he was really great. He knew the menu well and had good suggestions. We started with the focaccia bread which was warm and soft and came with Balsamic vinegar and olive for dipping. It was delicious. For starters, we ordered the meatballs. They come with a crispy bread and a cheesy cream sauce and marinara. So delicious. The meatballs and a Caesar salad with a glass of wine would make for a lovely next meal, so we plan on coming back soon to have that for lunch. For entrees, I ordered the lamb rib ravioli, which is new on the spring menu and was lightly sweet, savory and delicious. Handmade ravioli stuffed with tender lamb meat, garnished with pea shoot tendrils and mint. Do try. My husband had the pappardelle Ragu. It was amazing. Maybe my favorite of what we ordered. It's a rich beef sauce over wide handmade noodles. It's a very comforting dish, rich, savory and beefy. Great with a red wine. We tried the Key lime cheesecake for desert. It was also worth mentioning. We had a great experience and look forward to becoming regulars here.

He seemed to be the type of server that gave more attention to you if you ordered alcohol, which I why we saw with all the other tables around us. Meatballs for appetizer- 4 count with the most delicious tomato sauce and ricotta layered under it. The meatballs were so tender (pork and beef) the flavor was on point. We wiped the dish clean of the sauce. It is undeniably the best meatballs and sauce I've ever had at any restaurant. I usually don't like meatballs and the marinara sauce anywhere because the meatballs usually lack flavor and the marinara is too tart. The ricotta cheese pair very well with the marinara sauce. Whole branzino over mashed potatoes- spectacular dish. Head and tail on of it doesn't bother you. The dish is so buttery and flaky with the crispy skin. Skin was so flavorful with a hint of lemon juice over it. It was hard to find all the fish meat because it blended in with the mashed potatoes in the dark ambiance. Rigatoni alla Vodka with added Italian sausage- amazing dish. It was probably one sausage total. Ricotta on top was also a nice touch. House made focaccia bread, so soft and fluffy. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.

The little raviolis were very strange. Some were only partially cooked, many had edges that were hard and inedible. $34 for this? Husband ordered the pomodoro. The pasta had been boiled to death - it was so mushy it was inedible. We both tossed out our entrees after a few bites. We were extremely disappointed, needless to say. This was my after-surgery treat and it was terrible. Out of curiosity, I perused some of the reviews, and the bad ones scared me. The owner's responses were condescending. Two parties stated in their (separate) reviews that they got food poisoning. Being…read morethat it was Friday night we decided to make our way towards Chili's where we found this Pizza & Pasta Restaurant called Skipolinis. To me it sounded Italian and being Half-Italian myself, I have to try this place. Like I always do since I'm fond of my Italian heritage. We parked and with plenty of parking we got out of the car and walked up to the front door. As we walked in we were greeted with a friendly young man who had asked if there was just the 2 of us. As we sat down we were then greeted by our Waiter who had asked what would we like to drink. As we were reviewing the menu trying to find something good, I noticed that they had Spaghetti with Marinara and so being that you could also add Meatballs, Chicken or Italian sausage I chose the Meatballs. The waiter advised that the Meatballs were made with Ground Beef & Pork and to my statement "Thats great, I'll take 3 please" It was no more than 5 - 10 minutes that our food arrived. I took a bite of my Meatballs and let me tell you that took me back to my Childhood when my Nonna used to make homemade Meatballs. I chose Penne noodles because I didnt really want regular Spaghetti. My wife chose the Eggplant Parmesan and when she bit into the Eggplant, (The cooking of an Eggplant should be tender) hers was crunchy as if you were biting into an Apple that was almost tender. My wife enjoyed her Spaghetti and Alfredo sauce but she also took a bite of my bread as well. She wasn't really to happy with the Eggplant so the waiter graciously said that he would bring us some Meatballs in replace of the Eggplant since it was crunchy. He returned with 5 Meatballs and just like the ones that I was eating they too were Hot & also delicious as well. Our Waiter Brandon was very friendly, accomodating, Professional and did what he could to make our first time experience at Skipolinis a great experience. The next time we come we are probably gonna try the Calzones and I was very disappointed to know that while they are on the Menu, they didnt have any Cannolis. That's okay, the food was good enough that we will be back. Thanks Skipolinis for some great food and great experience. We will be back.

Food, ambiance, and customer service are phenomenal just as they were my first two dining experiences. I definitely was late to the party. Skipolini's was not on my radar until Carmichael friends ask me to meet them here. It is their numero uno pizza spot for sure. Impressed then and equally impressed now after once again consuming salad, pizza, and a glass of wine. I must attest to the freshest and crispiest romaine salad ever! It is now my gold standard for how a salad should taste. Plus, it was huge. Unless you have not eaten in a week, this salad can be and should be shared or for next day's yummy leftovers. We were in group of 10 people including kids! Skipolinis is family friendly and casual. So our little group fit in perfectly. Unfortunately, very little photo taking happening (You may check out my previous visit photos.). But lots of eating, talking and just having a great time over delicious food! The kids were all loving their pizzas! I saw a few lasagna dishes which looked amazing. And a sangria or two also. I may have to try that sangria next time! Speaking of kids... Skipolini's has a super nice outside playground which gets a lot of use in warmer weather. Our waitperson handled the table like a pro! So customer service remains fantastic. Everyone there is most welcoming. Oh, if you are a single or a couple wanting a more low lights, subdued experience... head for the big, beautiful bar. It is set up perfectly to relax and enjoy the vibes. I definitely need to get back to Skipolini's more in 2026! Carve out a little time to enjoy some great food and service "Skipolini" style. Verdict: Two thumbs up!

My husband fell in love with their meat sauce I ordered when we were there in March for a birthday dinner so I thought I'd order him take out dinner tonight as a nice treat since he was working in the area. I called just after 5 pm when they open, but no answer. I get that they are busy so gave it a few minutes and tried again. This time the young gal who answered just picked up and said "hold!" (no greeting, very abrupt & almost angry sounding) and finally came back 10 minutes later (5:18pm, no niceties like "thanks for holding"). I know the menu well so quickly gave her the order with the salad dressing preference. She abruptly told me salad is an extra charge on to go orders (ok, fine) and that the food wouldn't be ready until at least 5:50pm, almost as if she was trying to bait me into canceling the order. I've never been made to feel like such a bother to an establishment that I'm about to give $50 to for a couple take out containers of spaghetti & meatballs. I grew up in the family restaurant business and my parents taught me better customer service skills by the time I was 10. Funny how one bad employee, clearly with a gnarly chip on her shoulder, can make the whole establishment look bad. I'm glad it was my husband who picked up the food because if I had gotten any more attitude, I would've had to use some of my "big girl" words on her.
