I ordered at 4181 CA-49 #400 Diamond Springs on the Subway app, but when I got there, they said my order was canceled because the coupon I used from their app wasn't accepted. I ordered a new sandwich with a different coupon, but that got canceled too. They told me to call the manager to see if the coupon could be used. I didn't get a call back for hours, and then they told me they don't even take coupons. If that's the case, they should really take all the coupon options off their website so other people don't have the same problem. read more

I was there Thursday 04/27. I was ordering four sandwiches. They were out of the bread I wanted, then after choosing a substitute, they ran out of the meat I wanted. Received coupons in mail.Decided to take my son out for dinner at the Subway in Diamond Springs.We showed the coupon as we entered the store and the gal said she would redemm at register.Once we got to the register we were told this store doesn't accept coupons ??I will never go back.This is business suicide and reflects on the ownership down to employees that don't care if they lose customers or not.Bait and switch ? We have gone to this Subway for literally decades, frequenting it several times a week (before COVID). Yesterday we ordered two sandwiches online (which totalled $20 - no extras, nothing special). When we picked them up, the cashier was very rude - it was like we bothered her for spending money there (she spoke with an accent, maybe Russian). When we opened the food at home, my "melt" sandwich (something new at Subway) had never been heated. It was stone cold - you could see the individual slices of cheese. This is what I get for a $10 sandwich - high prices (for a simple sandwich), rude service, and a terrible product. Don't know what's going on at our once favorite place to go - but, we aren't going back to find out. read more

This was the largest tuna footlong in the history of me eating at Subway! Even the staff commented on how big it ended up. I think the reason was because the bread loaf was large and she simply filled it! I believe this monster was only $5.99, great deal. They also have a $4 meal deal right now which is a 6 inch and drink but I think it is limited to certain sandwiches. This particular Subway used to be our favorite. Recently, it changed ownership. The employees are kind but very hard to understand. When I visited the other day, they only had one employee behind the counter making sandwiches. The line was growing, and he was working as hard as he could, but was getting frustrated that he didn't have any help. He had multiple sandwiches lined up as he juggled taking more orders, taking others out of the toaster, oven and replacing supplies all at the same time while trying to make sandwiches. They had Mexican music playing VERY loudly in the background. There is no phone to call to place an order. I used that feature in the past, but can no longer order ahead over the phone. The ingredients are not the same either. The bread was very stale and hard. I used to be able to order their vinaigrette dressing on a sandwich. I tried to do the same thing this week, and they literally poured red vinegar over the entire sandwich. I told them that was not vinaigrette. They argued with me that it was. It was not! It was literally just vinegar. I will make the extra drive to go to another Subway in the future. These changes happened within the last two weeks so hopefully they get it figured out. Would like to have either better or no music, fresh bread, vinaigrette and a phone line to place an order. This Subway is down the road from us but I will not be returning to this particular Subway. read more

I have gone too Subway on highway 49 now 3 times at 5:00 p.m. and they have had no meatballs for their meatball sandwiches. I would think they would have some since that's the busiest time of the day. I told the guy this is the 3rd time I have come here and you didn't have meat for the sandwiches and he just laughed at me .I go to Broadway in Placerville now there much nicer and they always have stuff in stock. read more

I come in early mornings to get breakfast and Lunch for the day ( up to 4 times a week). Rachel in the mornings spent little time learning my go to order and even told me that the two sandwiches I get are indeed subs of the day on their respective days. The Store dinning area is always in top condition and I am always greeted as or shortly after I walk through the door. it always seem that the employees have a wonderful working relationship and enjoy each others company and friendly banter. Perhaps I eat there more than I should, but with the atmosphere and welcoming attitude I experience I suppose its worth it. read more

The 2 men got their sandwiches, paid and left before mine was finished. The girls behind the counter need to learn about customer service. I buy a lot of Subway sandwiches in the Placerville area (an average of two per week) and have visited all four locations often. I used to shop at this location exclusively because I often buy gas nearby on the way into or out of town. But I stopped going here more than a year ago because of the consistently slow and rude service. I gave them another try today because it was the only convenient location for this trip to town, but literally left with my sandwich half prepared after being treated rudely by both employees. The person "helping" me left my just-heated sandwich sitting open on the counter cooling while starting the sandwich of someone (a friend) who had just walked in. This despite making me wait several minutes to start my sandwich while completely finishing the previous customer's order. The other person behind the counter (who I believe is the manager) walked past twice without offering to finish my sandwich or even speaking to me. I won't be back. I'm very happy with all the other Subways in town. This one doesn't deserve my business or yours. read more

By far, the best Subway I've ever been to! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They greet customers when they come in, they let customers know about new menu items, and they are really quick to learn the regular customers' orders. The staff are terrific at multi-tasking to minimize wait time for everyone, and I appreciate how well they treat their customers. The morning crew are the best! read more

I could not say enough great things about Flor - I had one of the best customer service experiences I have had in years. She was the only one working and there was a rush of people but when it got to our place in line (luckily there was no one behind us) we had a difficult request. We mentioned a fish allergy, as the lady ahead of us got a seafood sandwich, and Flor was quick to pull the trays off the line and sanitize the entire counter and pulled out fresh knives for our sandwiches. She was so incredibly sweet even after just dealing with a large rush. Someone like her is rare in customer service jobs these days and we will definitely be returning. read more

My home and office are both in Diamond Springs. When I am working in town, I frequent this subway. The staff is always great! The sandwiches are better here than other Subways. Perhaps its the love, possibly the humor, most likely the attention to their product! What ever it is, my experience has always been outstanding. Recently I had an issue with being double charged for a sub, and not having been able to get in touch with them for over 4 hours to get a refund. That issue alone made me want to write a bad review, but they went above and beyond and came to me in person to apologize and fix the error. I understand, communication errors happen, phone lines go down, technology fails sometimes. I give 5 starts not just for the service but also I enjoy the convenience of delivery and the good food that I can customize (I'm a very picky eater). read more

I like Subway for a fast food lunch. Lots of fresh choices. All of them are pretty much the same staffed with low paid, rude employees and you wonder about what goes on in the back. NOT THIS ONE! This is my favorite location. The people here are friendly and capable. They make a mean sandwich and while we all know the ingredients are measured, they seem to give a little extra. I came to this subway because i was very hungry. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and wow was that a mistake. The meat had lots of grisle and lots of fat.
