First time ordering from this Beach Hut and what a disappointment. I ordered the Spicolli and it was dumped in so much ranch you couldn't even taste the sandwich. It had one peperoncini on half of the sandwich and I requested toasted, which it was not, so the cheese wasn't melted and the bread was soggy. I live 2 miles down the street and dasher picked it up right away. See pics for reference. Gross. Will not be ordering from here again. Waste of $20! read more

When you order two sandwiches and are charged $13 each, you might think they could get the bread choice correct! We ordered 2regular turkey beachkini sandwiches One on wheat One on a Dutch crunch roll Both came on dry stale wheat bread! TERRIBLE! They should have refunded the second sandwich! Sandwich emergency! Busy day and needed a quick food on the go. A sandwich of course! I placed an order for 2 sandwiches online. Beautiful wrapped up in a bag but no napkins. Girl those sandwiches are so stuffed, no napkins is a problem! The sandwiches were delicious and stuffed high but a tad bit difficult to eat and in car. The sandwiches are pretty good but the service is super sloooooww. I ordered 4 sandwiches through Toast and it said it would take an hour for it to be ready. I've ordered through DoorDash as well and usually the dasher complains about the speed. Hire another employee is my suggestion. read more

Amazing sandwiches and salads. I ordered 8 sandwiches and 2 salads. The gal mentioned it would take 25 minutes because they had other orders to complete. I explained that I was ok with that if they were before my order. When I saw the 4 people after me that placed and paid for their order after me, but ended up receiving their orders before me, I was annoyed. I order multiple items from other establishments, and the way I look at it, is if I was 10 people that separately ordered and paid for a respective sandwich/salad... it should be made and completed in the order it was received. Imagine if the first person that ordered their item received their order after the tenth person that ordered. Not a good way to do business. It ended up taking about 45 minutes. Beach hut deli has been on my radar for a while now. While driving towards the kids house we had decided to stop and have a picnic. To do this, we needed food. Beach Hut was close enough so I ordered online for pick up. The menu is huge and everything sounded great. The sandwich was actually very good. When we arrived, I ran in and the girls behind the counter helped me change a few things about our sandwich. No attitude, very friendly beachy young ladies. The inside definitely looks and feels like a beach hut. 3 stars is because the sandwich in my photo while delicious was 20 dollars! I recently moved close to this location, and was so excited that it was close. However, I do not reccomend this location at all. I am writing this review in hopes that something changes because if I feel this way many people probably do. I feel like this location does have potential! The food takes WAY too long to make. I went in one day with no one in the restaurant and it took WAY too long to make two sandwiches. Something that should have taken 10 minutes took 30+. First off, the vibe is elite..feels like you're on a mini vacation instead of just grabbing lunch. Super chill, no stress, just good energy all around. The staff were cool too..fast, friendly, and didn't make me feel rushed while I was clearly taking way too long to decide what I wanted. Now the sandwich... ridiculous (in the best way). Fresh ingredients, stacked like they actually care, and the bread? Perfect. Not too hard, not too soft, whoever figured that out deserves a raise. Every bite was one of those "okay yeah, this was the right decision" moments. Portions are no joke either. I went in hungry and still had that moment halfway through where I realized I might've overestimated myself. 10/10 would absolutely come back. If you're thinking about going, just go. First off I want to say I honestly love beach hut but this experience was just not it. The worker there took my order, I ordered a Surfin bird with just turkey, cream cheese, bacon, and avocado very simple right? No the guy who made my sandwich put mustard and mayonnaise and pickles. He put so many pickles my bread was pretty much liquid from how soggy it was. Beach hut please teach this guy how to properly make a sandwich. read more

Order through door dash and was really disappointed. No one read the order and both salads were not prepared as paid for and ordered. Be aware, if you are going to order the food, know that the people working there don't care what you ask for. Kind of sad really. They did send forks and napkins this time. Friendly staff. Great sandwiches. The Marley nachos are huge and so good. Better be hungry if you get these and a sandwich.

Service was terrific. Called in at lunch time, they were busy as would be expected. Was placed on a brief hold and during the hold a gentleman came on the line to check in & let me know there was 1 more customer ahead of me which was nice. Not more than a moment after that I placed my order for pick up. Ordered a Large and a Regular Surfin Bird made as listed on the menu. Arrived an hour later for pickup, checkout was quick and effortless. Upon returning home I opened the bag to take a peek at the sandwiches and noticed they were both the same size, even without the packaging. They look awesome and we look forward to enjoying them for dinner tonight. Only con is paying for a large and regular but receiving 2 regular sized sandwiches.. The sandwiches have an added price for those added inches to size, so that was disappointing and my tip was generous per the total spent which I am not upset about however tipped over 25% per the total due to the incorrect size. Everything aside from the size issue was excellent, and if these sandwiches taste as good as they look, dinner should be wonderful! Overpriced and strange sandwiches that take a very long time to make. The prices are double sourdough, and the owner comes off as rude.

I used to come in all the time the food is okay but the owner is a total dick he has a 18 yr old manager running the entire place and the girls there are always joking around and playing in the back.the owner rarely is at the store and when he is he is drinking beers with customer. The music is too loud and when it's live music it's the same songs over and over again wouldn't support a man child. He really should just let the girls have and run the store because from what the manager says she does it all by her self pretty much. And I'm sure he will respond with a sassy response. read more

Food is alright, my complaint is about the owner Kevin. He has got to be one of if not THE most unprofessional owners i have ever seen own a business. I was hired here a couple months ago and covered Kevin's only shift for the week only to be taken off the schedule after that. I proceeded to ask Kevin what happened and his response was "ask the manager" What a joke. Also just fired the manager who pretty much did his job for him. We did takeout from Beach hut while we were helping my in-laws move. The ordering process was straightforward on the website, and the food was ready in a timely manner. This location is in the same parking lot as the gas station, but there was still parking up front so I could run in quickly and grab my order. The restaurant looked clean and new, but I was the only customer in there. The staff that handed me my food was friendly. When we got home the sandwiches weren't marked so we had to open them all up to find out who's was who's. The sandwiches were good and made to order. Normally I would feel embarrassed for leaving this type of a review. I'm not sure if this business jacked up beer prices to change the clientele, but I'm sorry. Paying 9-11$ for a very basic pint of beer (even Guinness) usually entails a bit more than dirty countertops, frisbee plates and being otherwise completely ignored by staff. 2 stars for the sandwich, which is beach hut ya know... but seriously. Was once a semi regular customer and will never order in again. Food prices were also jacked up, but that's across the board these days. I got the Surfin bird XL sandwich with sprouts and it was amazing! Probably the biggest sandwich I've ever had. Staff was was nice and friendly. Seemed like everyone had a smile on their face. Good vibes inside with chill music. There was the usual beachy decor you'd expect from a beach hut with lots of TVs we well. The restaurant was very clean inside. There was a good amount of seating indoor and outdoor as well. My friend is a Beach Hut Deli fan. He has been to locations all over Northern California. I had never been before. My impressions; I am assuming these are franchises and the man that helped my wife and I was probably the owner. Very nice guy. Between he and the young ladies working there, customer service would rate five stars. The food. Terrific. I had a Malibu (ham, pastrami, avo, italian dressing, cheese, lightly toasted). My wife had some sort of pastrami sandwich which was also very good. It's a bit pricey, but we both thought the food was great and the service was dynamite. I'm saddened about this deli! I really like Beach Hut, but this location is horrible!!! I have tried several times over the past 6 months - giving them a chance to turn it around, but unfortunately they are never going to get there. Today was my last time and I will not be going back. After visiting several Beach Huts I was excited to have this local to me. Unfortunately, like most eateries now days the service is underwhelming and painfully slow if there is any amount of traffic. I don't mind paying $30+ for two sandwiches (to go) but not if they can't get it right! I asked for no lettuce and it was full of lettuce. All the meat on my turkey sandwich was in one huge pile half in/half out. The cream cheese looked like a chilled white turd. I'm not even going to comment on the two miniature slices of avocado! My husbands hot beef sandwich looked like the bottom of the bin was just dumped on a toasted roll. Oh, and with only my husband in the entire place, the employee had to yell out his name as if the place was packed. And minimum wage is what?????
