Today we stopped to eat at the Subway on Palmer Drive in Cameron Park, on our way home. We had called to ask if they would accept a coupon (which a previous Subway would not accept) and they said absolutely! We were greeted by a friendly young man named Christian and his coworker Kaylie. They were both so nice, accommodating and professional during our interaction and while making our sandwiches. Our experience was so pleasant that we wanted to not only give a positive review, but we will also be calling the owner of this Subway. Wow what a great Subway! My mom used to own a Subway sandwich shop many years ago in San Rafael and she took incredible care of it. This is the first Subway that has reminded me of it since. Very clean, beautiful interior with the most friendly service! And the ingredients were very fresh. So many Subways aren't of this quality anymore so if you have a chance to stop here on your drive up on 50 or are just in the neighborhood, I would! read more

This is a great location. The staff are very nice, they do a great job, stay calm and friendly during busy rushes. My kids love Subway, and although we rarely eat fast food, we often choose to eat here when we are in a rush or don't want to cook because we feel it's better than most other fast food options. SO GROSS when their workers will use cash register and hand out restroom key then continue making our sandwiches without changing their gloves!!!! We all know how dirty money is. This is probably the best Subways I have been to. Although Subways are mostly predictable, I have been to some stores before which made me wish it would be better to throw the food away than to eat it. We stopped here for a quick lunch on a long drive. The folks were friendly and took care in preparing the subs (something you don't often get to see in Subways). I ordered my food on doordash and my poor dashers were calling me with updates because the restaurant had a bunch of people and were too busy to fulfill my order. Then I get a call back that they are out of black forest ham. We switched the order which wasnt a big deal but then my order showed up wrong. I paid extra for avocado and there was none on my sandwiches. I know it isn't the dashers fault because they aren't allowed to open the bags to check. I went here yesterday for lunch because I wanted something healthy and fresh. I walked in and was immediately treated with smiles and hellos. The place was spectacularly clean. Which is always nice. However what really caught my attention was how nice the staff was. I'm assuming he was the owner and his daughter was working and his wife was doing the cashier work. He made small talk with me about the SF Giants and then joked with another lady and me. It was so pleasant. You never hear about good things. This place needs an A+ for everything.
