Since we have dinner once we arrive in Tahoe, we're always trying to find places open late enough for us to grab food. I decided to check out the CJ closest to Tahoe on the way. Ordering thru the app was easy as always. And you can use the coupons on the app as I know CJ's can add up. (They are one of the pricier fast food burger chains in my opinion.) I always adore a good lettuce wrap. For some reason, the ones here are always super messy since they just use pieces on lettuce on each side instead of actually wrapping the burger in a large piece of lettuce. Otherwise everything was standard. I'm always looking for spots open until ay least midnight to hit up on our drive. This is one of them. REVIEW #3900

I've…read morepurchased from this location 4 times, but there have been many other days I've driven into the parking lot only to realize their drive thru is closed. I just turned around and went somewhere else. Starting with the parking lot, due to it being right next to the light, it can sometimes be a pain to get in or out of it. If you pull up to the drive thru and realize it's closed, then it can be a bit of a pain to flip it. Despite those minor inconveniences, that's not why this location loses points in my book. What really hurts this location has been speed, quality, and consistency. If you're wanting to quickly pop in and get something on a lunch break then I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. Even with only 1 or 2 cars in front it's taken an average of 15-20 minute to get my order. Speed can be overlooked if the food atleast is coming out right. Here's some examples of what was purchased and how it was incorrect. - diet dirty Mtn dew Baja blast needed a syrup change badly. I was handed a clear cup with some cream in it and when I asked if I could get a different one instead I was told that I was wrong about it and that's how it's supposed to look. (It's not, everyone knows the Baja blast is green, not clear.) anyways it tasted like an essence of Baja. I tossed it. - Doritos loco taco had no meat and was thrown into the bottom of the bag unwrapped. - that new dipping taco was given without the sauce to dip it in. - I was charged for my chicken quesadilla with extra sauce, yet there was no chicken, it wasn't cut, and there was barely any sauce or cheese. All these issues compounding just make for an unpleasant experience each time. I don't fully blame the staff, as I'm sure they're understaffed and stressed, but I'd rather just not spend my money at this location.

But I called them up and they said they do have a full bar. So here we are!! There's plenty of seating. They have a bar area. Then a restaurant style area with booth seating. Then some high tops where the pool tables are. As well as some regular tables in front of the TV. They have the ability to turn the game sound on as shown by when the 49ers game came on (they got smacked by the Seahawks). But during the Broncos game they had the music playing but thats ok. The tvs here are at least 55 inch tvs. Crystal clear. Great for watching the games. There were no Broncos fans or Bills fans here. So it was just my wife and I having basically the entire place to ourselves for the game. We sat (stood too) for the entire game. It was an epic OT win by the Broncos. We each ordered about 4 drinks and had 2 apps. The drinks were all very pretty. Some were good. Some not so much. They are able to make up drinks on the fly as well as customize them. We had their boneless wings and pretzel sticks. Good finger food type snacks. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time. I think initially she was annoyed that we were just ordering drinks. But I feel like we made it worth her while with 8 drinks and 2 apps ordered.... They have a small arcade to the back. As well as a large private event room. No tvs in there as everyone was coming out to watch the ending of the Broncos game. Overall a nice restaurant. Lots of older people here. But also some families and young people on dates too. So fun for the whole family. Good amounts of drinks. Good amounts of food as well.

We ordered the #24 to share which is a Turkey and Avocado sandwich. In this case, the avocado was barely detectable and dare I say, a little brownish which was disturbing. Not sure if they are trying to save money by using scant amounts of oldish Avocado or they were maybe running out of their supply? He said that they don't do that anymore. He said that they now only put it on the bread and put it into the microwave oven. I asked why I couldn't have it done the way it's been done for decades. A Local Gem That Never Misses!…read more This review is long overdue. From the first bite, I knew I had to tell everyone about how epic Gold Pan Pizza is. Seriously, this is the best pizza in Shingle Springs--well, in El Dorado County actually. Every bite delivers that perfect blend of gooey cheese, bold flavor, and just the right crispy edge. It's the kind of pizza that makes you slow down, savor every second, and regret that you didn't order a larger size. Each time I get food here, I have to stop in my tracks and go into a deep place of reflection and gratitude for being alive in this moment to enjoy the epicness I'm savoring. It's so good I don't want to share. The crust is crisp with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The flavors are balanced, fresh, and satisfying. My go to, hands down, is the White Rock. I keep telling myself I'll switch up the rotation and try something different, but I can't, White Rock has stolen my heart. Don't even get me started on the garlic twist cheesy bread. It's crisp on the outside and melty on the inside with the perfect amount of garlic. DIVINE!!! Huge shoutout to Ivan, whose skill and dedication come through in every bite.
