Arrived on a Sunday for some lunch. It wasn't busy but it wasn't dead either. Store is located in a shared building and easy to locate. I parked across the street behind buildings as the parking up front was full. The sandwiches were amazing! I ordered three sandwiches (make it extra, cheesesteak, and Italian). All were excellent and their sourdough bread was great. They also had clearly Canadian sodas that are so hard to find and they also had cherry yuzu. Have to say this was a great surprise and great meal. Definitely will be back.

Nice little family owned deli in the heart of the old town Auburn area. Everyone was super friendly when we walked in. Order at the counter, and then grab one of the small tables (think there were 3 inside and 1 outside) or sit at the window counter to watch the goings on outside. Our Reuben sandwich was very good. Nice thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing on a grilled marble rye. Just the way they should be made.... We added a freshly made macaroni salad to finish off our lunch. It was all very good.

I have never eaten here before today. My company catered lunch and we got to select what we wanted. I got the real Italian on gluten free bread and the bread was great! Not the crumbly Udi's bread. All the ingredients were fresh and exactly how I ordered it. I also asked for extra pickles so I got extra on my sandwich and an extra container of them! A restaurant after my own heart! I also ordered the cucumber salad and it was great, too. Thank you!

If you're heading eastbound towards Reno or westbound towards Sacramento on I-80, I highly recommend this excellent family-owned and operated sandwich spot. This is none other than "North Fork Deli". Located in the heart of downtown Auburn, this place has been serving up "deli"cious sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and much more dating back to 2018. And since it has that small community feel, the entire staff truly goes above and beyond with each and every customer. As I mentioned, they are located in downtown Auburn on Lincoln Way and just a block from High St (Highway 49). There is no dedicated parking lot but on any given day, there should be quite a bit of available street parking. Since this is a relatively sleepy town with that small town vibe that includes mom-and-pop stores, eateries, and boutiques, everything is a bit more relaxed here. Fortunately, I parked only steps away from the main entrance and proceeded inside during the afternoon of Saturday 9/21/2024 at around 2:00pm. The inside area is quite small and has very limited seating. However, there is also an indoor "courtyard" area (that has other local businesses) with tables that are used for North Fork Deli customers. This is where my lady and I decided to sit to enjoy our lunch. The menu itself is quite extensive as they have many hot & cold sandwich options as well as salads, soups, breakfast items, ice cream, and even craft beer on tap. I decided to go with a sweet roll (full-size) bread w/turkey, salami, cheddar cheese, greens, onions, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, mustard, alfalfa sprouts, and jalapeños. I also paired this up with some kettle chips and canned soft drink. Total price for everything came out to around $22. I will say that the employees worked fast and diligently as our sandwich was brought to our table in less than 5 minutes. And this was during a very busy time of day on a Saturday. As far as the taste of this sandwich, the sweet roll was the real winner as this was super soft and tasted as if it was baked that morning. The veggies, meat, and cheese also tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. I am a picky eater when it comes to sandwiches and I will say that this place is worth checking out. Even Yelp rated it as top places to eat in 2022 while their business is an active member of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. Finally, and what really I really appreciated is that there is an autographed football jersey of San Francisco 49ers hall-of-fame quarterback, Joe Montana. All in all, "North Fork Deli" is as good as it gets to a quality sandwich. This place is arguably the best in Auburn and I will even vote that it is one of the best in all of Placer County (which covers Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Colfax, and many more). They are open 7 days a week (hours can vary) and they also do online ordering through their website, https://northforkdeli.com/. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

Mmm... pasta heaven…read more.. After a fun day with my neighbor, we decided we wanted to get something good to eat... and when we are together, we like to go all out. Pasquale's has been at the top of my list for a long time. It's located in downtown Auburn surrounded by other good places to eat and shop. The parking lot is tiny, but there is plenty of street parking available. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. When we walked in (close to 3), we were in awe of how beautiful it is in here. It was not busy, and we weren't at helped away, but that's ok because we were able to admire how gorgeous it was all around us. You can't help but notice the big cheese wheel in their display case. When I think of my favorite kind of pasta, it involves a cheese wheel... There is a bar top with high top chairs just waiting for you. They offer draft beers, wine and a full bar... but we decided we wanted a booth today. Inside Pasquale's is a brick wall interior with wooden flooring, where booths and tables are set up. It was cozy and very inviting. We barely glanced at the menu and knew right away what we were going to order. Now, I normally do not order anything with alfredo from anywhere... but something told me not to pass it up this time. I ordered the Salmon Fettuccine Alfredo, and Mary ordered the Lobster Ravioli. We also wanted a couple of Expresso Martinis to start. I think we were both starving, so we also ordered garlic bread to come out first. First, the Expresso Martini's arrived. They were in in a stemless martini glasses. They feature the same iconic, V-shaped as traditional martini glasses. I loved the way they were garnished with 3 coffee beans on top. The taste was rich with bold flavors that had a crisp kick of vodka. If I ever have an Expresso Martini from anywhere else, it'll forever be compared to this one. 5/5 Our garlic bread arrived shortly after we started sipping on our Martinis. They had the perfect crunch. The warm butter builds up with every bite to let you know it's there. Not overwhelming, or dripping, but it was just right. The garlic flavor was great 5/5 Mary's Lobster Ravioli was beautiful... the Ravioli was made with striped pasta dough; it looked stunning. The sauce on my Salmon Fettuccine Alfredo was gleaming, and looked so smooth. The salmon looked perfectly seared, seasoned with s&p and garnished with a lemon. slice. We were ready to dig in. My first bite was the delicious noodles... a savory, velvety cream sauce. It was like fireworks were going off. The Alfredo sauce coated every noodle flawlessly. Then I tried the salmon by itself... mmmm! Crispy, flakey, and moist!!! Now together... The contrast between the tender, buttery salmon and the hearty ribbons of pasta creates a spectacular mouthfeel... and the rich, buttery flavor of the fish went perfectly with noodles! Together, it was like the grand finale of a fireworks show on crack in my mouth. 555/5 Mary and I exchanged bites of our dishes. The Lobster Ravioli she ordered was delicious.. also garnished with a lemon slice. It was exactly how I felt like Lobster Ravioli should taste. This was a perfectly balanced dish as well, because it can be so easy to want to pack on the lobster to make a good dish, but then that's how you lose the rest of the flavor of the alfredo sauce and the tender taste of the pasta... but Pasquale's nailed that perfect flavor with the perfect amount of ingredients, getting us to crave the next bite. 555/5 After reading up on the history of Pasquale's, I found out it is owned and operated by Laura McGuire along with her daughter, Sophia. Laura was a former employee at the original Pasquale T's, which was a beloved Auburn staple in the 1980s and 90s. She brought the restaurant back to life in 2023, keeping it a true family-run establishment. If you're craving a rich and comforting meal, the Fettuccine Salmon Alfredo Pasta is my go to... it is one of my ultimate indulgences. Whether you're coming in for lunch or enjoying a romantic date night, Pasquale's Italian Ristorante feels like five-star luxury. It's hearty, comforting, and guaranteed to leave you completely satisfied!

Behind them, is a window where you can see the fermentation vessels. **fun fact Throughout the various stages of brewing, the beer is moved between a few different specialized tanks, each with a specific name. My friend was already there, and I walked up to the front and checked out their beer lists. I really liked that they had craft hard seltzers. Those are so delicious in a hot summer day. I went with the pomegranate raspberry orange... aka, the Pro! They had plenty to choose from. They were nice enough to give me a few tasters. They also offer a few wines and they had 2 frozen icee machines twirling with frozen Lemon Berry Seltzer and frozen lemonade I walked with my drink to sit with my friend. While looking around, I saw that they sell the chips from a local merchant called The Crazy Gringo.. who I have purchased salsa/tamales from at the Auburn Faith Farmers Market (Thursdays). While sitting and chatting, you can smell their delicious pizza. So I walked up to grab a menu and ended up ordered the pepperoni & sausage pizza.... yes, with ranch! They brought it out to us with cheese and peppers, too. I would compare it to a small size, definitely bigger than a personal size pizza. Great amount of toppings... mmm!! This one is pretty good. It was great without ranch, but I had to try their ranch and that was tasty. We hung out there for a while and it really started to get busy. Live bands were a fun idea but they were pretty loud, like conversation was kind of a struggle at times. Also not really a kids at breweries person but that's just me.
