Parking was a headache. Especially factoring in our visit happening on Labor Day weekend, there was a ton of foot traffic. Designated parking spots were all filled and the parking garage further down was just as packed. It took many attempts before we were able to locate someone leaving the premises. The check in and wait for a table was just as bad in the eatery. I used the time to look over the menu. Here you will find classic American comfort foods and fancier items with an elevated twist. There is essentially something for everyone. Lunch for our party: *BALSAMIC BRUSSELS SPROUTS *MIXED GREENS SALAD WITH BLACKENED SALMON *GRILLED LAMB CHOPS *KID'S CHICKEN TENDERS WITH VEGGIES Food was pretty good. The lamb chops were exceptional and although the blackened salmon didn't taste or look so delicious, I appreciated it not being overcooked. The chicken tenders were a nice golden brown and was not over battered and the medley of fresh veggies were really good. The balsamic brussels were good in size but the flavoring wasn't the best. All in all, the food was enjoyed. The one mishap that stood out was with Tessa H. forgetting my toddler's drink. We were half way through our meal when I realized nothing had been brought out to us even after the drink order had been taken. We flagged her down and let her know but ended up having to remind her 2 additional times before receiving the drink. At that point, the meal was already over. 4 stars overall but 1 star deducted because of the soda situation.

My fave go to is the steak & arugula salad. But on my last visit I tried their chicken wings and sushi. Yup, I know that's an odd pairing. But that's what I wanted. Then you're probably wondering... say what, sushi at a tap house?! Well the addition of sushi is new. The menu had lots of different kinds of rolls and sashimi cuts. I went for it and ordered the Wave Rider roll. The roll was delicious and substantial size. Great flavors. Beautiful plated presentation. I luved the little flower that was on the plate. The roll rivals that of local sushi places.

Besides being a great bar it also caters to families. The server here was excellent. She was genuinely very friendly, had great suggestions, and checked in on us just the right amount of times through the dinner. My wife and I shared a few dishes. The nachos here were different, but really fun and flavorful. They use kettle chips and put a kitchen sink of toppings on it. It's creamy, spicy, and the meat on it is very tender. My wife loved the Berry salad, and I also enjoyed the Bahn Mi Tacos. The Bahn Mi tacos had a Korean style pork on them that was very tender and juicy. The slaw on the side added a good crunch. My daughter had a kids cheese pizza and a hot dog. She was very happy!

I tried the char siu and meat lovers sandwiches which were both on nicely grilled Texas toast. The flavor of the char siu sandwich reminded me of cake noodle and beef broccoli because of the ramen noodles and the overall flavor of the sauce. I didn't get any of the bamboo shoots in the sandwich or maybe they were chopped really small? The char siu was decent, not super tender and not the typical char siu flavor but it wasn't bad. The meat lovers sandwich had a noticeable sweet flavor I'm assuming from the spaghetti sauce but it really lacked depth. It honestly reminded me of canned spaghetti and a sloppy joe. It also seemed like there was no ranch dressing even though it's part of the sandwiches name. I appreciate the creativity and whimsy they've put into their menu. I just don't think the execution and flavor profiles are where they should be.
