08/27/2025 lunch time///We had the pizza/salad buffet. The service was dismal. I watched as everyone was waiting for a new pizza to be brought out to the buffet line. I waited and waited.... We were there for quite awhile hoping to get some fresh pizza. The salad bar containers were bare and the lettuce was nonexistent. I think I had three pieces all together and the pizza was bad. The employees at this facility are always low staff, but they're always on their best behavior with the greatest attitudes and try to go above and beyond their means to make it an enjoyable evening. When we got there we were hungry and we ordered our pizza and it was supposed to be done in 30 minutes but it was done almost an hour later and it wasnt even busy so I dont understand how it takes almost an hour for that because the people who bought their pizza after us got theirs before us? Round Table on Missouri Flat Rd. has really stepped up their game. This has been our favorite go to for pizza for years, it lost our favor for a bit, but thoroughly enjoyed our pizza experience this evening. The restaurant was really clean and inviting, our chicken garlic pizza was cheesy delicious (and on sale, lg for $25.99) salad bar was well stocked, and Harmony greeted us with a big smile and hello, we felt like family! I've noticed in the last three weeks things are different seams like there short staff and they try to provide customer service but there being pulled in every direction. Been coming here for about a year during the week days ( lunch buffet) during my lunch time but with them being short staff there is no way I can continue coming there. No reason to come in here. Hopefully they close soon like other Round Tables, so we can get an establishment that cares about its product. One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time. Take a look at the thermostat 83 degrees in the restaurant during a 100 plus summer day. When we asked if they could adjust the temperature down to a more comfortable level the employees said they can't control it, and it is controlled Chico. That makes sense right!?!? lol. Also, very dirty restaurant. The tables stay non bussed for hours while there is only 10 guests in the restaurant. Salad bar looks like it is 7 day old lettuce. Here is the cherry on top. We had 10 adults at a table. Ordered 4 pitchers of beer in 2 hours. That equates to about 16 beers, and about a beer an hour or less for each person. We tried to order another pitcher and we got an answer from the employee that our table has been cut off from ordering more beer! Never in my life have I ever been embarrassed like this while at a kids party with our group having a beer or less an hour. I ordered 5 pizza, 3 Family size Garden salad and this time i made sure that i ordered 10 extra Ranch that cost $0.75 each (which is obsurd) on top of the ranch for my salad and at first they give me 6 tiny ranch and ask wheres my extra ranch that i ordered. The cashier was very rude and have an attitude and keep telling me that they are short staff. (That doesnt give her any reason to have an attitude) I ask for utensils and she said they don't have any and I ask her how am I going to eat the salad??? Then she gave me 2 forks for 3 FAMILY SIZE salad. Stop being stingy on your condiments specially if someone ordered $300 bucks worth of food. All i'm asking for is to be reasonable and don't give your customer any attitude when they are asking for something that should be given to them. read more

Down the street at The Pizza Factory they give you a salad and drink for the same price... I considered leaving but thought I might upgrade to a small which is very small and also $19 dollars. Heard they had a pizza buffet, so decided to eat lunch there. First was the sticker shock, $16 each for salad and pizza - drink not included. Salad bar was typical but adequate. Then went for the pizza, but there were only 4 tiny (1' to 2") slices available. I though surely they would make more. A couple arrived a few minutes after us and complained about a pizza buffet with no pizza. So they made 1 pizza to their liking, but that was it. Not everyone likes Hawaiian pizza. I kept waiting, surely they would bring out another pizza. I went to the counter at 1:38 and asked about more pizza. Nope! I was told the buffet ended at 1:30 and was closed. We came in at 1:10, and except for the pizza they made for the complaining couple, there was none put out for the buffet. This place has gone wayyyyy downhill in the past year or so. I've been told that they are under new ownership. I've been getting pizzas there for nearly 20 years and am just about done. Delivery has been unreliable and poorly done, if there is a driver at all (which there doesn't seem to be most days). Also, I ordered original crust, but got extra thin. The quality isn't what it used to be. I didn't feel the manager was helpful when I called to discuss these problems. Great pizza. Good service. The price is out of control. This was never an inexpensive place, but with inflation, it is astronomically more expensive. To the owner of the Missouri Flat location...you need to schedule more help. On 11/9/23 you had three people running the whole place and a massive crowd of customers, plus on line orders stacked up. The poor girl at the front was working her butt off trying to keep everyone happy. My online order said to pick up at 6PM, I arrived at 6:05 and waited until 6:40 for the order. There were tables full of people waiting for food. One employee mentioned to the other that he needed to take his 30 minute break, and was told "well that is not going to happen" in front of many customers. I feel awful for the three employees that were working. If you are going to be open for business, you need to staff accordingly. The employee mentioned out loud that you have other employees willing to work, but management is unwilling to schedule. Not fair at all to the staff or customers.
