Service is quick and the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. The inferno burger is hot (not Da Bomb hot but sufficient to force a light sweat) and the fish and chips were good. Good selection of beers and local wines.

This place was surprisingly incredible. A few friends and I drove up from the Bay Area to hit the last few remaining Apple Hill ranches that were open, and we needed to pick a spot to eat for dinner. One of my friends chose this place, which my other friend and I agreed on. I am the type of person that likes having more control over where to eat, but this time I just thought I should concede with an open mind. I had no expectations and thought the food would be just good enough to eat. I sure was wrong. I was absolutely blown away by the pizza and ranch. We ordered a large cheese pizza, which my favorite style of pizza because it is so simple and can't be messed up. Just from first glance, I was surprised at how delicious the pizza looked before even taking a slice. It had those burnt cheese bubbles, which are the absolutely the best part of some pizzas, and also just gave off an impression of freshness; fresh cheese and herbs. For me personally though, a pizza cannot be perfected without a delicious ranch to complement it. The ranch here checks all the boxes...made in house, dilly, and creamy. The ambiance definitely gave off a nice sports pub atmosphere with plenty of TVs. The service was very quick, attentive, and welcoming. It's always nice when the staff serving show their personality and some humor. When we asked to split our bill, one of the guys serving us sarcastically was like: "ughhh really?" which we all thought was hilarious because we knew he wasn't being serious. Overall awesome experience and will definitely come back when I'm in the placerville area next year.

This place is great for so many reasons but mainly the amazing food. For our first time trying this restaurant my husband got a bacon burger and fries and I ordered a BLTA with a side caesar. The portions of everything were huge and everything was delicious. I was surprised that even my side salad was amazing. They also have a cute pub vibe inside with taps all around the room. My husband ordered a beer that he loved, so we would come back for drinks and apps as well as for meals. Lastly, they were super busy when my family came in and had only one waitress at the time. While she was obviously extremely busy, she still got our order and checked on us fairly quickly and even brought my daughter some toys to play with at the table. This is definitely going to be a frequent stop for us from now on!

I understand he was upset probably because we took a table away from his potential tips, but to treat us the way he did is inexcusable. I asked if him if the food hadn't been made if we could cancel our order. He left and appeared to speak to the kitchen staff. He came back and cleared the table next to us and did not communicate anything to us. I asked, is that a yes or no? Without looking at us he said hold on. He finished clearing the table and walked away. He came back 10 minutes later and without saying a word he placed the bill on our table and left. Luckily we had the cash to cover it and a tip. As we walked away he rushed over, likely to make sure we weren't skipping out since he had been so rude. Will we go back? Uh no. This could have been handled much differently leaving us wanting to try them again.

We decided to sit on the patio since it was nice outside - they also offer a ton of seating inside and I also spotted a huge bar area. They are also dog friendly! We ordered the Kids Cheese Flatbread, Reuben Sandwich with Garlic Fries and the BOJ Burger. My daughter devoured her Flatbread and my husband really liked his Reuben Sandwich - I liked all of the toppings that came on my BOJ Burger, but the hamburger patty itself was not seasoned and it weirdly made the whole burger lack in flavor even though there was bacon, onion jam and gouda on it. Our friends also enjoyed their food as well! They offer a large beer menu and a fun cocktail list - I almost ordered one, but decided not to. I will have to next time! Overall, service was friendly and attentive - even when it started getting really busy. I was hesitate about visiting based off of the reviews, but we we all left full and satisifed. They do not, however they do something called a "fast pass" which basically means they put your name down and if you arrive while there's a wait, you get seated before anyone else who is waiting and does not have a fast pass. Kind of a different approach. I was glad that when we arrived, there wasn't anyone else waiting and there were tables available. Service was very attentive and friendly. He took our drink orders and allowed us some time to decide what to eat. Hubs and I both debated between multiple options- a lot sounded so good- but we both decided on the filet mignon. On the menu, it indicated that the dish comes with a béarnaise sauce; my husband really doesn't care for tarragon so he requested a substitution of their mushroom rosemary sauce instead (which is offered with their ribeye), and they happily obliged. The meal also included Yukon mashed potatoes and veggies. Our food was delivered soon after and I was pleasantly surprised that not only were our steaks still very warm but that they were cooked a perfect medium rare. The quality of the steaks was great, they were nice and thick. The veggies were, for the most part, overdone and a bit soggy, but that's not something that bothers me too much. The potatoes had good flavor but could have used much more milk/cream as they were pretty dry and firm. The experience was a good one and I would definitely return if we lived closer. I liked that their menu had a lot to offer- this is a good place for a family who has various tastes. Shout out to our server, Carver, who was great and provided very good service.
