After 30 minutes she received a very cold sandwich which we sent back since she's unable to eat it as it was. They offered to prepare a new sandwich for us and did not add avocado, which was paid for as an extra charge, when called out instead it was put in a tiny plastic container. Watching others eat their entire meal and leave to enjoy the day while waiting around for 3 turkey sandwich's for almost an hour is unacceptable.

The entire time, I felt like I was CHEATING on my favorite pho spot! And to make matters worse, as we were leaving around 5:15 PM, we actually walked right past the owners with their dogs! The pho noodles routinely come out stiff, and when I request my steak on the side, it often arrives brown and partially frozen--sometimes still thawing from the freezer. The broth is weak and tastes mass-produced, they skimp on the limes, and the basil has virtually no flavor. The staff is friendly, but the service often feels rushed, like they're more interested in getting you in and out than creating a memorable experience. Even after seeing the same customers for years, there's little sense of recognition or personal connection. With Tran Kitchen Vietnamese now serving traditional, flavorful Vietnamese food in town, Pho ABC really needs to wake up and step up its game. Competition is a good thing, and hopefully it pushes them to bring the quality back to where it used to be.
