Korean Pork Tacos

Why don't more people know about this place? It's been a sec since we've been here, but my mom is visiting from Texas and loves this place, so here we are. The food is always on point! Excellent flavors, fresh, and unexpected. We got the Korean Pork Tacos... oh my gosh! The pineapple and jalapeño together is so delicious! Great service and beer selection. Def putting this on my next date night with hubs!

A great place to get dinner after Apple Hill before heading back home! They were out of a few items which was a bummer, but were very friendly and accommodating! I got the Bahn Mi tacos and they were great! I also love that there's outdoor seating options as well as a pool table.

Excellent service. Friendly atmosphere. Sandwich was mediocre. Not very hot for a melt. Cole slaw was good. Wish they had more west coast IPA on tap.

We celebrated a birthday on the patio and it was designated for us thankfully because we had a large party. It was a set menu that we could order from. I had the Southwest rolls, Chicken Caesar Salad which was not on the set menu but they were willing to allow me to order it, and the chipotle chicken tacos. All our food was delicious. Thank you for accommodating our big party.

The menu is typical of a tap house. Burgers are standard solid choices. I have had their flatbread and pastrami sandwich, they were ok. The steak and arugula salad is my current faves. The sliced steak strips are pretty darn tasty. Quality, tender cuts. The steak is fresh grilled and served hot over the salad. Yes please. On my last visit, it was a Saturday night 6 pm. Prime feeding time. Unfortunately they were understaffed. The staff was however super friendly and working their tails off. It looked like they were all multitasking as host, server, bartender, food runner, and whatever as the restaurant filled to capacity. It took a bit longer to check out and as more tables filled, the service got a bit slower. Understandable due to the staffing levels. Kudos to the staff for holding down the fort.

With not a ton of "late night" options in the area, we found ourselves here for dinner on a Friday after spending the day in Apple Hill. Service: Great, our server took great care of us during our visit Drinks: I wasn't sure how good the cocktails would be at a tap house but I will remember this blood orange specialty fondly. It was delicious Food: The burger was okay. I don't think the separate pieces together (bacon, onion jam, Gouda cheese) were greater than the whole but it was fine. The side salad is exactly what I want when I order a side salad, and I'm not ashamed to say it. Ambiance: It's a big space and it was still warm out so there were folks enjoying the lit patio. The light above our table flickered the whole time which was annoying but not enough to move. They have their own parking lot and there's street parking in the area. I'd come back.

First time here. Went on Wednesday afternoon with a group of 7. Server was excellent! Everyone loved their lunches. We all had leftovers. Plenty of parking. If you come during busy time there is a public parking garage next door. There is a bar and outdoor seating. Will dine here again.

Stopped into this nice beer and food place. The best service in town by Tyler our server. A1 service with a smile. Fine selection of draft beers. Great tuna appetizer dish with pineapple and rice.

I visited Boa vista for the day and while in Placerville made a stop at this restaurant and I really enjoyed their pumpkin spice drink along with the food. The waitress was nice the space is big with outside seating. I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity and quality of food they had to offer. If ever in the area again, I will definitely make my way to this restaurant again.

A fun, open setting with tasty food, beverage, and friendly service! I stopped in to read my book while enjoying the afternoon and couldn't have been happier. It can be a little noisy if it is busy, noise travels well in the big space, but my server was wonderful! I recommend the southwestern egg rolls and buffalo crispy chicken salad. I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in town.

Came for lunch while visiting my dad in Placerville. It was pretty busy but it was a holiday weekend. Service was still fast though - we were seated with my parents' favorite server and she was very friendly. I got the crispy cantina bowl and my boyfriend ordered the French dip sandwich and fries. The food came out quickly and the portions were pretty big. My salad was good but could've used more guacamole as it barely had any. The sandwich was good also but there was a lot more bread than meat. And the only sauce for the fries was ketchup, not sure if they had other options but if so, it wasn't clear. Overall it's a little overpriced for the quality but not bad while visiting family.

Came back from backpacking at loon lake with family and this is the spot we always go too! They make perfectly medium rare puppy Pattie's and the food portions are huge!! We always sit in the patio and service is always spot on! Our server Sharon or Shannon (sorry I forgot) was such a great server, so sweet and didn't forget a single thing we requested. Thank you for taking care of our 3 dogs and our big family! We really enjoyed our most recent visit! Will definitely be back!!! Ps: The Korean tacos are amazing!

I came out to Placerville to visit a number of Apple Hill ranches with my lovely and beautiful girlfriend. We have been to Placerville a handful of times throughout the last few years, but have never tried Main Street Tap House. After a long day of sugary apple baked goods, and a conversation on what we should eat next, we decided to take the leap of faith to try a place we have never been to since our day was inherently adventurous. When we walked in, I took notice of the good vibes and thought this is definitely a model of what all restaurant taprooms should strive for, as captured by some of a photos. The service overall was excellent, and a 5/5 experience throughout our meal. As for the meal, it was quite the journey. Since my diet for the day consisted of mostly sugar, coffee, and hard apple cider, my stomach was not feeling the best. I ordered the BBQ Burger with a Beyond Patty (I prefer to only eat meat at home). The meal itself started as a 3/5 due to the state of my stomach, but grew on me as I started to near the completion of my journey, ultimately ending at about a 3.5/5. I tend to judge a Tap House by their fries and ranch, which were honestly quite average, as so the burger. If you grow to know me, you'll understand that I love a great house-made ranch. The ranch was not disappointing, but was also nothing special. The meal definitely grew on me though, and I had an overall good experience.

Mediterranean flatbread was not eaten due to disgusting flavor

Everything food, services, ambulance is good but acoustics are loud in a warehouse type room. Outdoor dining is nice.

I saw dogs outside are:)

Is this place open for dine in or outdoor dining?

You have a choice of inside dining or outside on their covered patio. They have misters when the weather is hot, as well as fans to cool their patrons off.

No number on Yelp. Found one on google but every time I call I just get a busy signal?

This is the number they gave me to best reach them at: (530)330-4648. Not sure if this is the number you were calling. Hope this helps!

I understand he was upset probably because we took a table away from his potential tips, but to treat us the way he did is inexcusable. I asked if him if the food hadn't been made if we could cancel our order. He left and appeared to speak to the kitchen staff. He came back and cleared the table next to us and did not communicate anything to us. I asked, is that a yes or no? Without looking at us he said hold on. He finished clearing the table and walked away. He came back 10 minutes later and without saying a word he placed the bill on our table and left. Luckily we had the cash to cover it and a tip. As we walked away he rushed over, likely to make sure we weren't skipping out since he had been so rude. Will we go back? Uh no. This could have been handled much differently leaving us wanting to try them again.

They do not, however they do something called a "fast pass" which basically means they put your name down and if you arrive while there's a wait, you get seated before anyone else who is waiting and does not have a fast pass. Kind of a different approach. I was glad that when we arrived, there wasn't anyone else waiting and there were tables available. Service was very attentive and friendly. He took our drink orders and allowed us some time to decide what to eat. Hubs and I both debated between multiple options- a lot sounded so good- but we both decided on the filet mignon. On the menu, it indicated that the dish comes with a béarnaise sauce; my husband really doesn't care for tarragon so he requested a substitution of their mushroom rosemary sauce instead (which is offered with their ribeye), and they happily obliged. The meal also included Yukon mashed potatoes and veggies. Our food was delivered soon after and I was pleasantly surprised that not only were our steaks still very warm but that they were cooked a perfect medium rare. The quality of the steaks was great, they were nice and thick. The veggies were, for the most part, overdone and a bit soggy, but that's not something that bothers me too much. The potatoes had good flavor but could have used much more milk/cream as they were pretty dry and firm. The experience was a good one and I would definitely return if we lived closer. I liked that their menu had a lot to offer- this is a good place for a family who has various tastes. Shout out to our server, Carver, who was great and provided very good service.

I also loved the coffee bar, and the food itself was genuinely very good. That said, the ordering system really took away from the experience. Having to stand in one long line for drinks and another line for food just feels frustrating and inefficient, especially on a busy holiday like Mother's Day. It honestly felt more like serving yourself than dining out, yet the payment screen still pushes 18-25% tips. Mother's Day especially needed much better signage, more organization, and additional registers open. The lines were extremely long and moved painfully slow just to place an order. I really do love the concept and the atmosphere here, but the customer flow and service setup could use some major improvements during high-volume events.
