Ad on their website saying kids eat free Monday and Wednesday. Turns out they stopped the promotion. Don't get fooled!

We'd seen their "kids eat free" ads for a long time, so we checked their website to make sure they were still doing it. Yep! All day Monday and Wednesday! When we get there, I ask about it and the waitress says they stopped doing it. We said they are still promoting it on their website, and she said they don't have the ability to change their own website. So anyway, two of the $13 kids meals were paid in full. How is this not false advertising?

Love this place. Cold beer and great service. Great place for good food and cold beer while watching games. Cool vibe. Jasmine was awesome.

Chicken Cordon Bleu

The chef just added some now dishes to the menu and I had the chicken cordon bleu, it was spectacular! You really get a good deal on very nice dishes here. I've never had anything on the menu that I didn't love. This place is underrated in my opinion. The brunch on weekends is also amazing.

Very good cocktails and I ordered their bowl of clam chowder and it was delicious. Carnitas nachos were good too.

Cool spot. Lived in the area a while and just haven't been until now. I'd go again. Friendly staff and nice environment.

Service is really bad. The food wasn't as good as it was. They didn't refill our drinks or give us napkins.

Ask the Community - Folsom Tap House

Still offer free kids meals on Sundays?

Since when did they start adding an "open food" surcharge? Don't remember seeing this charge the last time I was there.

Sandy, open food would be an item that's not in our computer yet.

We saw the smoker in the front of the building. I do luv me some good ole BBQ. So off we went. We ordered a double down plate $26: two 7oz protein choices with cole slaw on brioche and an 8 oz side choice. Brisket and pulled pork were our protein choices with and potato salad. We bought another side, macaroni salad. We requested that the pulled pork be placed on the side and additional sauce. I dislike being that customer with persnickety preferences. But we were, and they didn't blink an eye. Super accommodating. The pulled pork had a deep smoky flavor. Tender shredded pieces. Mmm. The sauce was served on the side. That too was delicious. Hubs had the brisket and wolfed that down before I could swipe a piece. Darn. The potato salad was tasty. Slightly tangy, which I really liked. The place is family owned and operated. It's a sports bar and family friendly bbq joint. Giving off family friendly vibes. But hey, a bar and family friendly? Yes. They both co-exist harmoniously. Talking about sports. The TVs of course are tuned onto sports. All of the screens are strategically placed throughout. They even have framed signed football jerseys from USC Trojans, Denver Broncos, and 49ers to name a few. Pretty neat.

The slider was a bit too spicy (it's not THAT spicy) for my wife which meant more for me. The fries were done just the way I like them. The fries come with ketchup as well as cucumber wasabi ranch, which was just a little spicy. My wife stuck with the ketchup. We then decided to split an order of Korean barbecue beef. The meat was thinly sliced and deliciously marinated. The rice and the cucumber salad were very good and the stir fry vegetables were cooked perfectly with just the littlest bit of crunch left in them. Everything was delicious. Our server made sure that our drinks never got below half and our bill was promptly brought out as soon as the take-home box was delivered. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff was really hustling and we were in and out in an hour without feeling rushed. It is a brew house vibe and there were TVs tuned to hockey, NBA basketball and NFL Football. The crowd checked off every demographic. I loved that they were almost completely full, yet it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. It's no wonder two different sets of friends said this is their go-to restaurant in Folsom.

Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised to find what looked and felt like a local upscale pub with a large bar with TVs and various tables scattered around. The menu offers something for everyone, and the portions are generous. I opted to start with the garlic bread with a dipping sauce, followed by the Southwestern chicken salad entree special. The bread crust had garlic baked onto it, and the dipping sauce was huge and flavorful. The Southwestern salad exceeded my expectations. It was huge! The chicken was grilled and blackened and cooked to perfection and served on a bed of fresh lettuce with black beans, chopped onions, and blue cheese with a spicy dressing that was fantastic. The dish was so good that I'm tempted to go back tomorrow night. If you're looking for a casual dining spot with a friendly local vibe and amazing food, Manderes fits the bill! I appreciated the fact they had a couple of NA beer options along with a nice selection of beer on tap. Highly recommend!

It just always makes me laugh when staff likes to make you feel bad for not having a reservation. Like, come on... there were SO many open tables throughout the entire 90 minutes we were there. Anyway-- I got a glass of the house red wine for the happy hour special, it was good. And we got to squeak in an order of the Ahi Nachos, which I believe are only offered on Happy Hour, and OMG, they were SO good. We were still talking about them the next day. The "nachos" were like a fried wonton. And just all around, the entire dish was delicious! Spicy jalapeños, quality tuna. Go to this place, even JUST for these nachos. The spicy crab (or lobster, I can't remember) bisque, was also really good. I'd recommend it. Mildly spicy, not crazy. My coworker got the caesar salad, and was very underwhelmed with it. For my entree I got the Pesto Scallop pasta. The scallops were overcooked, and underwhelming, in size. But I acknowledge that could just be the season. Doesn't excuse the fact that they were overcooked. The pesto sauce was yummy! I give this place a solid 4 stars, and would definitely revisit next time I'm back in the area. Ahi Tuna Nachos get a 5 star, though, for sure. Thanks for hosting us!
