Oh no. I had strange drive thru encounter that left me short changed. We rolled up to the drive thru. Hubs asked what items were available in the 2 for $7 special. Which she said was the chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and cheeseburger. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and chili. She asked if we wanted a combo or separate cheeseburgers. He relied no combos. When we got to the window to pay, the amount was $8 more than we anticipated. After we got the food, I checked the bag and asked for the receipt. We saw that instead of charging 2 for $7 for the Dave single cheeseburgers (which was the special), we got charged $7 each. Oh no! So we asked for a refund for the difference. The cashier stated that we ordered wrong because we declined the combos. I'm confused at this point and asked for $7 back. She gave us $7 but kept our receipt. The actual amount owed back to us was closer to $8.63. But we took the $7 and moved on. And the Dave's singles were the tiniest Dave's single burger I've seen. They seem to be jr sized patties just fancied up with lettuce, tomato slice, and onions to pass off as a Dave single. Ugh. read more

I've enjoyed Wendy's burgers for many years and unfortunately, that will no longer be the case for several reasons. First of all the burgers have substantially deteriorated in quality and size. What was once a healthy sized triple is a pathetic 3 patty burger. Doing some research, my inclination was correct in that the burger patties have reduced in size by 25% over the years! With so many other burger options, they've lost another customer. The service at this location was mediocre at best. Another bad review but to include everything is they take forever at the drive thru 15+ minutes for an order sometimes, they've gotten my order completely wrong once, and just recently they didn't have any baked potatoes left and could not refund me anything for mobile order. I was unhappy with the alternative of a Dave's Single. The worker rudely insisted that I don't get the potato (just a chicken sandwich before I asked where's the potato) like I deserved to not get it and off you go before I even got offered any alternatives. Been here many times, most occasions great. On my last, 2 visits had issues. 1) and older Spanish speaking lady, non-native English speaker was working the drive through. I submitted my order via app. Picked up my order and showed my Dave Thomas foundation keychain for a frosty and was told the machine was broken. I know this is just another 1 star in a sea of 1 stars. But, this morning my spouse when to get some breakfast because of the deal they were running. First, the employee taking the order was extremely impatient and made it impossible to think or even order. When the sandwiches were ordered, the woman at the window just thrust the bag forward while actively talking to another employee-- Asked for ranch, didn't know if she even heard or cared, waited, and then when she offered the ranch she said "If you want more than one it'll be fifty cents." Whatever. Got the food home and once we were home one of the egg and cheese sandwiches wasn't cooked. The yolk was still just a wiggling mess amongst the cheese and biscuit and it was disgusting and inedible. To top it off, there was a dark black hair in the yolk of that egg. My wife and I like the Caesar salad with spicy chicken. We have ordered this at another Wendy's and they always cut the chicken in squares which is what I expected. This Wendy's just plopped a chicken paddy on top of the salad and I complained so she offered me a plastic knife which I commented that I want you to cut it up and she went back and pulled the chicken apart by hand and it was gross and only half was pulled apart. Very disappointing because always have the same product at another Wendy's every Sunday. I don't recommend this Wendy's and will not return. It pains me to say this because I am a fan of Wendys but this location is on its death bed. Went there last night and it seemed like the person taking orders in the drive through was listening to every other word, they didn't even bother putting the order on the screen, the wait was very long at the window, I ordered four drinks and none of the kids were fully on, no napkins in the bags, I asked for a drink holder and they said they didn't have any. The food was acceptable but the rest was well below the standard of even fast food. They seemed very understaffed in addition to the other problems like adequate supplies. The dining room is also closed making me think it may be staffing issues as well. I am still a fan of Wendys' menu, I will just get it from a different location. read more

6/29 around noon.. At the drive-thru, I requested a large cup of ice water in addition to my $5 biggie bag with an ice water beverage and an order of 6pc ghost pepper nuggets. They charged me 2.44 for bottled water in which I didn't asked for bottled water as I wanted a large ice water. they refused to give to me per the manager as that's what the nice male employee said. I told him I did not want a bottled water, I wanted a large iced water. The employee told me manager said NO and apologized for managers actions. When I asked to speak with a manager Augustine, Mexican lady she told me "i don't want to talk to you" without me even saying a word and she keeps saying water is not free. I repeated my request for a large ice water and pay for it. She TOOK my original water that came with my $5 biggie bag and gave me two little iced water that you usually get for free ice water little cups. I don't know why took my medium size water from my biggie bag and switched for two tiny cups of ice water?????? I asked where's my large ice water, she said it's $2.44 for bottle water which I repeatedly I want large ice water in a cup. She said she don't give it. I said I want to buy the large cup iced water. the male employee was in between this and keeps apologizing to me quietly many times and shook his head knowing that the manager was in the wrong. Also there were so much OIL SPILLED ALL OVER IN THE BAG. It was not even ghost pepper flavor. Not sure if was the sauce but it was oily as it has no flavor!!! The closer I can think of Parmesan sauce but it don't look like sauce to me. The 6pcs nuggets in both black containers has a lot of oily liquid in them and it's oily everywhere on top the lids, bottom, lids were not closed tight and oil was just all over and staining rhe bottom bag, literally ruined my car seat as the whole bag was wet. I hope there's cameras to see this. I buy the food for my kids and I feel the manager ruined the food on purpose!! She did this in purpose!! This place has some issue. Went through the drive through for a couple frostys one Friday night. There was no line and I only saw 2 workers inside. Inside dining was closed due to COVID. When I got to the window to collect the food, the guy said the machine was broken and to pull to the front of the store and he'd bring it out. After waiting for about 10 min he comes out the front door and walks over to a car parked a couple spots over. He bends down and talks to them for several minutes and then goes back inside. That car did not come out of the drive through so I think it was someone he personally knew. About 3 minutes later, he comes outside again but not with our food. He pulls his mask down and smokes a cigarette for about 4 minutes and then walks back inside the restaurant. A couple minutes later he comes out with our frostys. I do not know if he washed his hands but we were a bit grossed out after watching this whole ordeal, especially in COVID times. I don't know what was wrong with their machine but waiting 15 minutes for 3 frostys is sad. How was he fixing the machine if he's talking with people in the parking lot and smoking? There was probably only 2 people total working that night. After reading other people's review on here, this Wendy's seriously has some issues that need to be acknowledged. Think twice before coming here and just go to another burger place in the area if you really want a burger. read more

Standard Wendy's, maybe a little cleaner than average, but also generally slow service. Since this food is so bad for you I generally get a side salad or sandwich wise I opt for a chicken sandwich of some kind. Typically a spicy chicken. I do like the spicy chicken. This spot is usually pretty good, they always include Ranch if you're one of those gross people that need it. The food is rather hit and miss. Some days it will be hot, some days it will be cold. The people working there are friendly and the restrooms always kept pretty clean. They have booth seating available and you can't really beat the 4 for 4 deal. Even though they'll claim the offer ended don't let them fool you, it's still on. And it's still the best deal. Be careful because on occasion someone will forget to put the wet floor sign out and tile flooring and freshly mopped restaurant is a recipe I'd rather not fall for. Would return. read more

Came here today to get the five dollar biggie bag. The guy accidentally charged me for two which I was not mad you know he had to refund me. The manager started screaming at him dropping the F bomb just going to bed go do dishes don't have time for that I wanna go home and just like being very inappropriate first of all we all mess up. This place is terrible. The only thing they got right was my drink. I ordered a number 6 spicy chicken sandwich large combo with an additional spicy chicken sandwich. i was charged for a medium meal the fries were a small the drink was a medium and I ordered a additional large drink and received the large. The sandwich taste like a normal chicken sandwich not like a spicy chicken they gave me one paper thin tomato on each sandwich and one peice of lettuce. The tomato and lettuce matter they make the sandwich. I feel robbed I couldn't even finish the meal because of this. it ruined my night my wife got Dave's Hot Chicken and I preferred Wendy's but now I see this was mistake. I'm Black I was the driver of a silver dodge charger and Im clean cut in shape. I was extremely polite and made sure not to offend anyone. This Wendy's location tries it's best, over the years whenever I've gone it's been up and down, but these days the lobby seems to have closed permanently since 2020. You have to feel bad for the staff as they're often only 2 or sometimes even 1 guy working...leaving a single employee on their own is wrong regardless of how competent they are. The food is decent, usually fresh and the wait times in the drive thru have improved. Be wary of closing times though, this Wendy's despite being right off highway 50 and in a major area of Folsom is consistently closed by 630pm each night. read more
