The place is on the smaller side, but when the giant door is open, it does feel more spacious, similar to the downtown Capitol Garage for those who are familiar with that restaurant. Very disappointed after reading some of the reviews. Went to this location right after it opened. Service was good while ordering. First impressions after ordering, dirty, bathrooms were dirty, pieces toilet paper scattered on the floor, water spots all over the mirror. A table when I exited the bathroom had bird poop on it. We opted to sit outside, tables dirty, umbrellas filthy, we chose the least dirty table to sit at. Now to the food. I had the classic burger, looked ok when it arrived but it was not special at all, in fact if I had to vote, it would be the worst burger in town. It was spongy, texture was weird and it had no flavor (salt is your friend guys). I ate about half of it and could eat no more. I actually felt sick after eating it. We also loved their design, open air entrance providing a lot of refreshing outside air and breeze. The staff again was very helpful and friendly with their service. The melts both had an awesome amount of cheese and they were sooooo stretchy. Also cooked and prepared well. The burgers were so juicy and flavorful, the bun was a good quality bun. Ingredients tasted and appeared very fresh. THe jalapeños were sliced raw peppers and we so good on it. Hubby enjoyed his double cheeseburger too. They have condiment packets w mayo ketchup and mustard available, but you honestly don't need it at all because the burgers are tasty the way they are! The pickle on the side was delightful, super crunchy and flavorful. The fries had some sort of green seasoning on it, may have been finely chopped dill or parsley I'm not sure but worked well on the fries. The potion was a pleasant surprise too! We shared one and it was plenty for us. The sodas are natural sodas w real sugar! Big plus in my book! I'm not a soda drinker but when I splurge, it's nice to have this available. The ginger beer soda has a strong ginger flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed but hubby didn't care for. The root beer soda was also very tasty. The double chocolate cookie was cooked to perfection and the chocolate pieces were all melted and warm... sooooo good to top off an excellent meal! The spicy burger was 11.99 and the double cheeseburger was 15.99. The fries were 3.99. Last but definitely not least, an employee named Vic came to check on us and was genuine with making sure we were enjoying our meals and making sure we had everything we needed. Came here for a quick bite the other night. Very cool looking place, trendy, and kept very clean. The grilled cheese was actually pretty decent along with the side of a pickle. Kind of wish they offered a little bit more with a combo, like fries or chips. Maybe they did but this is what we grabbed. I also had a side Cobb salad that was OK. Wasn't anything extraordinary, but I think more of their attention goes into their burgers and sandwiches. The meat in the salad was pretty bland nothing worth bragging about. I've been here several times since the Yelp event was held here a few years back. The food is consistent and satisfies the craving for a burger. Everything tastes fresh to me and high quality. The burgers are always good. This last time I came here, I ordered a Cesar salad with grilled cheese croutons and a side of Mac and cheese (lent). The food was not bad. I would've preferred a burger, but glad they have non meat options. My sister got the chicken sandwich and my brother in law got the bbq Bacon burger. They both really enjoyed their food as well. We will definitely be back, but probably to the location closer to Sacramento. Great place to enjoy. The food can get heavy though, and not the healthiest. Ordering was easy as they had the online kiosk. I went during lunch on a weekday and there was no line so that was nice. I ordered my food and it came out in 5min! I took my order to go and ate it at home so it kinda cooled down a bit during the drive so I just microwaved it a bit and boom, it was warm and good and of course cheesy again!
