Went here for lunch and ordered a chili and cheese baked potatoe and a 6piece spicy nugget. The nuggets were cold but I had no time to complain. When I stirred my potato I noticed a a hard string. I pulled it and it's a piece of plastic. I called and spoke with what's Unbelievable to me Mariah the General Manager. I didn't get a I apologize. I got well you said something was wrong with it. Being the potato a kid and I'll refund your money as if I was not being Truthful. Here it is and if the Head Person has No Customer Service WOW who is leading the team. This Wendy's location tries it's best, over the years whenever I've gone it's been up and down, but these days the lobby seems to have closed permanently since 2020. You have to feel bad for the staff as they're often only 2 or sometimes even 1 guy working...leaving a single employee on their own is wrong regardless of how competent they are. The food is decent, usually fresh and the wait times in the drive thru have improved. Be wary of closing times though, this Wendy's despite being right off highway 50 and in a major area of Folsom is consistently closed by 630pm each night. read more

This place is terrible. The only thing they got right was my drink. I ordered a number 6 spicy chicken sandwich large combo with an additional spicy chicken sandwich. i was charged for a medium meal the fries were a small the drink was a medium and I ordered a additional large drink and received the large. The sandwich taste like a normal chicken sandwich not like a spicy chicken they gave me one paper thin tomato on each sandwich and one peice of lettuce. The tomato and lettuce matter they make the sandwich. I feel robbed I couldn't even finish the meal because of this. it ruined my night my wife got Dave's Hot Chicken and I preferred Wendy's but now I see this was mistake. The food here is good, when they're open. They have very off hours. My family and I pulled in at 8pm. There were still a few cars in the drive thru. This is my second time I went to this location very poor experience once again. I thought I would give it a try but will go elsewhere. 1st time- went through the drive through and the gentleman at the drive through was working with a very cranky lady. We paid for a order with modifications that we paid for and the lady that was packing argued with him that we didn't order/ get charged for it. Right in front of us. Then when we basically argued it we got almost scared and left our order. I have never experienced such poor customer service. 2nd time- the same drive through guy almost forgot to give me my card back and I had to pull back to retrieve it 3rd time- he didn't give me my card back or receipt causing a huge headache. They added a frosty to our meal, when told we didn't order it, the drive through attendant said ok and took it back didn't offer a refund, we had to ask for our recite to make sure if it was taken off, and it wasn't, when we asked for our money back she acted like we were bothering her, then 2 other employees came up making jokes at out us wanting our money back, very rude. The gave us our money back after 10 minutes of waiting. Cold fries, they also couldn't make a order right, my mom has sodium restrictions on her diet, we asked for no salt on the fires, her fires were extremely salty, all she asks to have on her buger is onions and lettuce, they didn't put the lettuce on it either. If you are a Wendy's fan, don't eat at this one. Three of us got double burger meals, two were missing tomato and pickles, the other has a tomato sliced so thin you can see right through it. I absolutely love Wendy's, however this particular location has been the worst I've been to and I've gone twice already because I figured it was just a bad day they were having. The first time I went I ordered two strawberry lemonades and they tasted like they had the syrup sitting out for too long. The taste was awful and the fries were cold and stale. The second time I got a spicy chicken sandwich and when opening it, it was just tossed together with no care at all. Writing my first review because I'm crying before my shift. I got stuck behind a single car for over 15 minutes in the drive through only to have a terrible experience at the window. The person didn't say hi back, only said the total, didn't tell me they were done with the transaction so they just had their arm hanging out the window with my card not even looking at me. And then swung the bag out with a closed fist not even saying anything and made me feel bad for just being a customer. They are extremely slow and the heavy set, middle aged African American woman at the drive thru window is rude. She put my biscuits and gravy in the bag without securing the lid and the gravy spilled out of the container and leaked through the bag onto my car seat.
