12/20/25 Stopped by and helped ourself to the kiosk to order. Chicken from here remains consistent. Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon, only 2 others dining in :)

Omg, I can't believe they opened a Bonchon in this area!! I was literally on my way to grab Thai food when I spotted it tucked in the corner and had to switch plans right away. I usually drive all the way to the Arden location whenever the cravings hit, so having one close by feels like a blessing! The inside is really spacious and clean. When you walk in, there are two order screens which makes it super easy to place your order without having to wait around. The vibe was chill and organized, definitely makes the whole experience quick and convenient. We ordered the kimchi stirfry udon noodles, 30 pieces of soy garlic wings, and a side of coleslaw. Let me tell you, the noodles were packed with flavor! super savory, a little spicy, and the portion was perfect. That fried egg on top was also a great add to it. The wings? Always a 10/10. I stick to soy garlic every time and it never fails. Crispy, juicy, and coated with just the right amount of sauce. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy, a nice balance to the bold flavors. Honestly, this location did not disappoint. Everything hit the spot and I'm so happy I don't have to make the drive to Arden anymore. This is definitely my new go to Bonchon spot, can't wait to come back again!

We went to Bonchon in El Dorado Hills, and it was such a fun first experience trying Korean fried chicken. The place was clean, bright, and had really cute decor. They even had K-pop videos playing, which added to the vibe and made it feel lively and upbeat. The food was delicious. Since it was our first time, my husband and I ordered the sample plate, and it was perfect for sharing--great portion size for two people. The girl who helped us at the front was super nice and genuinely helpful. She recommended the cucumber wasabi dip, and wow--so good. Such a fun, fresh add-on. I also appreciated that they offer more than just fried chicken. The menu had fried rice, other dishes, and even some cute-looking desserts. I was way too full to try dessert this time, but I'll definitely be back for it. Overall, great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

I decided to try this Korean fried chicken place in town center and I really enjoyed it! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with YANGNYEOM ( sweet and a little spicy) sauce. It was so delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich so much flavor and I was able to dip it in ranch dressing, which made it way tastier. The french fries were nice and crispy and crunchy. So delicious ! They were fried to perfection. Wow you are in the restaurant enjoying your meal. You will be listening to Korean pop music, which is pretty cool to be honest. At the register I met Mei she was so super sweet and kind and really helped me order since it was my first time at this restaurant and she really made it a great first time visit. I definitely will return and maybe try something different to add to my yelp review.

Boneless Soy Garlic and Spicy, bulgogi House Fried Rice

This is a well-known chain for koreanfried chicken. Forget about KFC, Popeyes, Churches; because, with the recent price gouging/increases from fast food fried restaurants, you would much rather come here for fried chicken! This Korean fried chicken chain is way more worth it for the quality of chicken you get and the flavors beat any american fried chicken dishes hands down. They also have other varieties of appetizers and korean-styled side dishes like tteokbokki, fried rice, gyoza, bulgogi fries, seasoned fries, etc. You can choose 1-2 flavors (half&half) or even plain (no flavor, just crunchy fried chicken). I honestly like to get half&half of soy garlic and plain fried chicken. It is also common Korean culture to eat a nice fried chicken meal with beer, but they do not sell beer here, but it is a good option to consider at home for ToGo orders! We also got house fried rice, I would say this was a little small in portion size for the price. But it is still very yummy! The staff here are well trained and they always had great customer service every time I came to this Folsom location since they opened so far! Plenty of seating is available for dine-in. You can also order on 2 kiosks in the store.

We love that there is now a Bonchon in EDH!! Soy garlic is our fave sauce on drumsticks. Japchae is also a perfect compliment with any Korean entree. Also if you haven't tried the Sotteok, which is rice cakes and sausage in a sweet bbq sauce it's a must! Service was lightning quick and ample tables in a clean dining room with K-pop music overhead! Definitely be back!!

Small 6 piece wings with coleslaw.

I've been to Bonchon locations in Sacramento (Natomas & Arden) and was excited for this new EDH location. Bonchon is a great chain and I love their soy garlic wings! This restaurant is order, pay, and take your number stand to your table. I ordered a small 6 piece soy garlic wings with coleslaw. They wouldn't let me substitute the coleslaw/raddish for rice like the Sacramento locations would let me do. I had to order rice as an extra side. Food didn't take too long to come out which was nice. I was super disappointed that the wings were 5 drumettes and only 1 flat! My favorite part are the flats so I had to say something. Staff was understanding and took my tray back removed 2 drumettes, gave it back, and then made me 3 new flats. If I could order all flats that would be awesome. I'll try and ask next time. I thought the wings were okay. They didn't quite hit the spot for me like they usually do and they were tiny. Maybe needed to be a bit crisper and more sauce? Also the rice was a little dry/hard too but edible. Coleslaw was as expected. Overall my experience was mid. Maybe I'll give it another shot when they've been open a bit longer.

Bibimbap with Bulgogi

Nice shiny new fast casual Korean dining in El Dorado Hills. Isabelle helped us out and she was amazing, great recommendations and she promised to remember us next time! I had Bibimbap with Bulgogi and my husband had fried rice with bulgogi. Everything was really fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the side of pickled radish, I could eat that everyday. Everyone was friendly and the prices aren't too bad for the food quality. We will definitely be back.

The chicken here is so crunchy and delicious! The person who took our order, Mei, was sweet and personable. It seems like a place mostly for takeout, we have been here several times and have always ordered togo. They do have ample seating and TVs for the diners if you want to dine in. The kimchi, rice, and udon are all pretty good as well. Give them a try!

A big chicken sandwich with some tasty fries.

I like this place. It has some cool neon signs, a clean dining area, and good food. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries for $13.99 and made it a meal for another $4.99. I added some ranch for another $.99 and the whole thing came to $21.42 after tax. If you make it a meal, it comes with a drink and second side like French fries, coleslaw, or pickled radish. The sandwich and fries are pretty filling on their own, so keep that in mind. The fries were hot and crispy, so I dug into them right away. My chicken sandwich didn't come with much on it, which surprised me. Later, I found out you're supposed to eat it "Korean style" with the coleslaw on top. My meal included a small side of slaw just for that purpose. My sandwich came with a big piece of crispy chicken, and a nice fluffy bun, so it made for some good eat'n!. The cashier was nice and explained some of the menu options to me. My food was ready in about ten minutes, so I was please with that. Overall it was a good meal.

The chicken is good, not great. Pass on the spicy fried rice, spice over powers any flavor.

Gamsahamnida! Back…read moreagain, and the food and service continue to be great! The chicken katsu is still one of the best I've had--light, crispy, and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with juicy, tender chicken inside. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also tried the spicy pork again. It's a bit different from the Korean spicy pork I'm used to. Instead of the pork being marinated so the flavor is deeply infused, it seems to be grilled first and then coated with the sauce. While it's not the traditional style I expected, it's still flavorful and worth trying if you're open to a different take on the dish. In addition the chicken gangjeong dish that requires it to be "deep fried chicken" needs additional time to get crunchy like you would expect. I think the sauce may have made the crunch disappear. The consistency in both the food and the service is what keeps bringing me back. I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. Other: -plenty of parking -bathroom inside -on hot days it's a little warm in the restuaruant *local family business*

The rice-to-filling ratio was perfect, and it tasted freshly rolled. If you're looking for Korean drinks, they've got those too, although the open table layout doesn't quite create the cozy pocha atmosphere. Overall, it's a great spot when you're craving a quick Korean fix. I'll definitely be back, mostly for the gimbap.

They've made a few changes since the last time I was here. They now have kiosks for ordering, and there's a 10-minute wait between each order. Luckily, our server was nice enough to let us place an order through him instead. We received everything we ordered except for the cheese corn, but we were already full, so it was okay. Our food came out quickly, and of course, everything was delicious as usual. The only thing we were missing was our sauce. Unfortunately, this location was waiting for the pineapple sauce to be delivered from their Arden location. It ended up arriving after we had already finished eating, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy it with our food. Overall, the food was still delicious, and we had a good experience despite not having our sauce lol.

I feel like it needs a bit more lighting. Service was a bit slow. They started letting you order from an iPad .. but iPad only let you order 2 meats at a time and meats only comes as 2 piece or 4 shrimps at a time and you can't order again until 10 minutes later. So we sat around waiting most of our lunch for 10 minutes to be over to order another 4 shrimps lol .. that sucked. I hope they changed that a bit. I also ordered a side salad that never came out even though we asked the waiter the whole time we was there. So I gave up after probably 4 times asking for my salad lol. Other than that the food was good. The cheese corn was delicious. The bulgogi sliders were great!y favorite thing there is the butter shrimp and soy garlic beef belly. Their seasonal fruit right now is watermelon and that was so refreshing! Crisp and sweet!

I've been several times now, and even brought a group for one of my veggie UYEs to enjoy it. Each time, the food is delicious and we leave stuffed and satisfied. The Veggie AYCE option ends up being about $25 with tax, which is a pretty good value. Appetizers and dessert are also included! The vegan broth options are tomato and my personal favorite, mushroom. Unlike most hotpot places that only have ramen noodles that contain egg, Tao's also offers udon and rice noodles in addition to the traditional ramen. Nice! Tons of veggies, including favorites King Oyster & Seafood mushrooms and daikon. Also, both fresh and fried tofu for extra plant-based protein. Condiments and sauces are self serve, as well as side dishes like seaweed salad. Tao's definitely has the variety and the set up is convenient. Staff is friendly and on it. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience and we will not be returning…read more We arrived on a Saturday night and the restaurant did not seem particularly busy. We were seated right away, but no one asked if we had been there before or explained how the dining experience worked. Luckily, we are very familiar with Shabu Shabu. We were a party of two adults and two children. We ordered several appetizers and chose the Kobe beef option. The first thing brought to the table was two small plates of raw beef, each with roughly 6-8 rolled slices. We then waited about 10 minutes for the vegetables, followed by another 10 minutes before the broth finally arrived. It seemed very odd to serve raw meat well before the broth needed to cook it. Rice came shortly afterward, but service remained very slow. It took another 10-15 minutes before anyone came back around so we could request more meat. When the next order arrived, it was one plate with maybe 15 slices to share between four people. We immediately asked to place another order. At that point, our waitress appeared visibly annoyed. She walked over to a coworker and began speaking animatedly in another language. Of course, we have no idea what was being discussed, but given the timing, it made us uncomfortable and feel as though we had done something wrong simply by requesting additional meat. After that, she largely stopped servicing our table and two other employees began helping us instead. Service throughout the remainder of the meal was very inconsistent. All four of our waters were empty at one point, and we rarely felt checked on. The food itself was okay. The Kobe beef was good quality, but the rice was dry and hard. The biggest issue was how difficult it felt to place additional orders at an all-you-can-eat Shabu restaurant. Our receipt showed that our family of four ordered 11 plates total, so we were certainly not ordering an unreasonable amount. For approximately $150, the overall experience simply was not worth it. There are much better Shabu restaurants in the Sacramento area. They may be a longer drive for us, but after this experience, the extra drive is absolutely worth it.
