Large bowl (front) and small bowl (back)

mmm pho on a rainy day in Folsom is sure comforting! Spacious pho restaurant to the left and right as soon as you enter, with rectangular and circular tables for parties of all sizes (2 to 8 people) Wondering what size bowl to get? If you love noodles and broth, definitely upsize for an extra $1. Otherwise, meat portions are the same between a small and a large, at least for #16 (Pho Combination) As for taste, I felt the broth lacked a deep rich bone broth flavor, but squeeze in lemon, drop in some basil, and it sure hits the spot Not your smiley service kind of place, but they are accommodating and quick!

Friendly, great food, it's clean. No complaints. I'm a regular at this place and love coming here. I use to reside on the other side of town and had a pho place to go to but since I moved I found pho abc and they've have been my to go and I love it.

Nothing beats having a bowl of pho during the cold weather. Waiter was very quick in taking the order despite the place having a little lunch rush. Pho is already prepared in advance so it did not take long to come out. Broth was very flavorful without any additional sauces. Would come back again if I am in the area.

Look at the size of the sandwich! Best $7.25 I've spent in a long time. Slightly crunchy bread filled with a bbq chicken, mayo, cucumbers, veggies. It's rare to find a meal for under $10 that I couldn't even finish! I saved half for dinner and it was still plenty. I got my sandwich to go and ordered online through the website so it was hot and ready when I arrived. I was worried the chicken would be fatty, but it wasn't.. perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed it

Came her with fam. It's in a little unassuming strip mall, but don't let the location fool you. Went for lunch and was seated right away. Ordered some egg rolls to start off with. These came out piping hot. Nice crunch and a hefty filling to them. I opted for the rice plate which came with rice, grilled pork chop, shredded pork, grilled shrimp and a shrimp cake. Lots of food and lots of flavor on one plate. Solid spot for Vietnamese food.

Spot is cool and been around for years. -located deep in the heart of Folsom. Was only option to satisfy pho cravings in that hood. -pho: hit the spot, nothing amazing nor mesmerizing. The noodles and meat were cooked right. Broth was hot and beefy. It's a spot I'll hit up again whenever craving pho working in the neighborhood. -cafe su da: can't go wrong w/ Vietnam and Noods....

January 14, 2025: I ordered Seafood Chow Mein, Duck Pho, and hot tea. The Seafood Chow Mein totally rocked--it was so hot, the seafood was tender, and fresh while Duck Pho's broth warmed my cold--the duck was so tender and juicy, the Pho jettisoned me into the ionosphere! Yup~I must scream at the top of my lungs while standing on an apple box proclaiming, "THE ENTIRE ORDER WAS THAT DELICIOUS, INDEED!!!!" Anyway . . . Like Ahnold Scwharzenegger promises, "Ahll beeee baaaaack!"

This is a nice clean restaurant with good food. I came here because I was craving pho and wasn't disappointed. The spring rolls were tasty with the peanut sauce. Sometimes peanut sauces can be too sweet but this one was just right. They have a big menu and the staff were nice and friendly. It got busy pretty quick while I was there but the restaurant is spacious and people were seated quickly.

I don't know if it's the same cook or if the food was different but I can say the food was delicious. We had the grilled pork and it was very very tasty. I like that they serve served it with a salad and I liked the abundance of sauces that you could get that were already on the table from soy sauce to fish sauce, chili sauce, hoisin sauce they had it all covered! We came in after the lunch rush, so it was a very quiet dining experience for us. The wait staff was super attendant, and the cook came out and asked us if we were enjoying our lunch, which we very much were. I sent pictures to our kids and they want to come back here the next time they're in town hooray.

Service was ok. Remodeled to a modern ambience which I thought was simple and nice compared to other pho establishments. We started with Goi Nem Nuong (grilled pork spring rolls) - this was actually really good and served warm. We also grabbed the salt and pepper calamari. Batter was crispy, calamari was chewy but was a tad oily. Flavor was there. Pho N Roll noodles came up short. We order (2) special Pho (Dac Biet) and BBH in large size. Ordered a small Pho Tai Gan for our little one. While there was ample noodles and broth in portions, the flavor was lacking. Pho and BBH were both on the bland side. BBH was not spicy or savory. Most noodle options have 4 sizes (XS, S, L and XL) however the specials only have 3 leaving out XS which makes sense. Conveniently located with ample parking as it shares a center with ranch 99, Starbucks, etc. They have a really large menu! While we may not have loved the pho, there are so many other rice dishes to try! Until next time.

This takes me to their Folsom location which opened its doors back in late-2021. Situated in a decent sized outdoor strip mall with a mix of boutiques and retail business, this Huong Lan is located directly off of East Bidwell St and adjacent to Wales Dr. Parking is fairly easy to find on any given day and they have very reasonable hours of operation being open weekdays from 10am-9pm and weekends from 10am-8pm. Since I live in the suburbs, this location is actually easier for me and is very convenient for those that live in Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and other neighboring communities. One really unique thing about this location is that they have a drive-thru for those that don't wish to exit their vehicles. However, if you're not in a rush, I do recommend dining inside as the interior dining area is quite open, inviting, and spacious. And one really positive thing about this location is that they are not nearly as busy as their other locations. More often than not, I am waiting in line (sometimes up to 30 minutes) just to place an order at the South Sacramento location. I also noticed how much of a variety this location offers including 15 different Bánh Mì variations, Phở, noodle soups, Vermicelli bows, rice plates, and a nice assortment of appetizers. They also carry several types of pearl teas, milk teas, and boba drinks. At this location, I literally entered the restaurant, walked up to the front counter, and placed my order. I ended up coming here during the afternoon on Saturday 5/30/2026 at around 2:00pm. My Bánh Mì sandwich of choice was their B7 "Grilled Pork" aka "Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng" and was priced at $9.25 (after tax). After making my payment, I sat down and within 5 minutes, my sandwich was brought out to me. I am going to be honest with everything, the bread was soft while the veggies (cilantro, cucumber, pickled carrots, and daikon) were all laid out very proportionally. But what this Bánh Mì was seriously lacking was the grilled pork! I love a good Bánh Mì sandwich but just ONE strip of pork? C'mon guys, I've been to your other locations and they have been very generous with the proteins. However, everything tasted great and I will still give this place an above average rating based on the service, location, ambiance, quality/freshness of food, and overall experience. I also wanted to add that the inside was very clean and sanitary while the public restroom was spotless. When you factor in a very spacious interior with a convenient drive-thru at the exterior and a pleasant dining experience in a quiet part of town, I am giving the Folsom "Huong Lan" location a respectable and above average four stars.

This place is truly a gem for casual Vietnamese food and great service. The wait staff has always been very accommodating. Their Thai tea has the right mix of sweetness and nuttiness. The French Bread used for the Banh Mi is crispy and crunchy. I love the carrot slaw and tender beef that make up the Banh Mi. The main attraction here for me is the pho. The combination pho needs very little adjustment because the broth is so savory and aromatic. I love the fragrance of the spice mix. It deters me from using a lot of siriacha and hoisin sauce because I don't want to tamper with the broth. Nevertheless, I toss in a bit of basil, a squeeze of lime, a dab or two of siracha and hoisin and I am comforted by the warmth of this soup. Don't be down the next time it rains, just head on over to Pho n Mor for this combo and you'll be wishing the rainy weather never ends.

TL;DR: Do NOT order anything extra. They'll charge you for it without telling you and only slip it onto the check after the fact. And the owners are possibly racist, homophobic, or both - based on what her husband screamed at me on my way out for no reason at all: "We don't need people like you here." I walked in on a Saturday night, two hours before closing. Not busy, no line. I got seated right away - well, the waitress (who I later found out was the owner) pointed at a booth. The booth was dirty. Crumbs, spilled fish sauce, half-eaten strands of vermicelli all over the table. I asked the owner if she could wipe it down. She said "Oh wow, sorry," then delivered drinks to a few other tables and left me at the dirty table for another five minutes before coming back to clean it. There were plenty of empty, clean booths - it was NOT busy. Any one of them would've been fine. The menus were dirty and sticky too. I let it go, figured I'd just wash my hands after ordering. We ordered the crispy pork sausage spring rolls, one order of pork egg rolls ($12, per the menu), two Thai teas, and two lemongrass vermicelli. Then I went to the restroom - toilet paper all over the floor, sink area filthy. The waiter brought out two orders of egg rolls - he'd misheard me and didn't even know the price - but he owned it and took the extra back. No harm there. The food was a letdown. The lemongrass vermicelli was a mountain of noodles, an OK amount of bland chicken, and barely any vegetables. No texture, no flavor, no spice. This was not Vietnamese cooking - it was lazy. I wouldn't order it again. So I tried to salvage it and asked for some extra veggies to fix the texture. Here's the problem. The dish already comes with salad mix - it says so on their own menu. Nobody told me extra veggies would cost anything. We got the bill, it wasn't on there, and then the waitress came back, said "I'm just going to update the check real quick," and added a $2.50 "extra veggies" charge after the fact. Now look at their menu (photo attached). They have a whole "Additional Add-ons" section, and the ONLY veggie add-on listed is garnish/beansprouts at $0.50 to $1 - not $2.50. So they charged me up to five times the only veggie price they actually print, for something they never disclosed. And on the receipt it's typed in lowercase as "extra veggie" while every real menu item is capitalized - you can tell it was punched in by hand. I asked the waiter to take it off since nobody told me it'd be a charge. He refused. I asked to talk up front so I wouldn't bother other tables, and asked for a manager - out came the owner, the same woman who'd sat me at the filthy booth. I asked her to remove the $2.50. She refused, said people ask for extras all day so they have to charge, and that she considered this a "side salad" - even though there's no side salad at that price on the menu. I said, "That's fine, but you have to disclose it first." She told me it was on the menu. It is not (see the photo). I told her no restaurant in Little Saigon charges for a few extra veggies without telling you up front. She refused again. I paid, told her I'd leave a bad review and no tip and wouldn't be back - all over $2.50 she could've just removed. She asked what the review would even be about. I listed it: the dirty table, dirty menus, dirty bathroom, the undisclosed charge, and her refusal to reason with a customer making a fair point. She went quiet. As I walked back to grab my things, she kept talking, but the music was so loud I genuinely couldn't hear her, so I said "Sorry, I can't hear you over the music." That's when her husband SCREAMED across the entire restaurant: "GET OUT RIGHT NOW!" I said, "I'm already leaving, and I won't be back." And he screamed, "WE DON'T NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU HERE!" People like me? I was respectful and calm the whole time. I never cursed, never raised my voice, I just pointed out facts. So what did he mean? Because I pushed back on an undisclosed charge? Because my partner and I are LGBTQ+ and sat next to each other? Because I'm Black? I have no idea why he said it, but if you're Black or LGBTQ, I'd think twice... Either way, screaming that across a full dining room, at a customer who simply said he wouldn't return, is unhinged. No competent owner does that. Here's the kicker: Pho Momma's 2025 Michelin recognition is a Bib Gourmand - which is specifically the award for good value. A restaurant honored for value nickel-and-dimed me $2.50 for veggies they never disclosed, then had its owner scream me out the door. Is that what Michelin recognition looks like? Absolutely not. If you're Black or LGBTQ, I'd genuinely reconsider eating here and save yourself the possible discrimination. Go to Pho Xe Lua, Pho Saigon, or honestly any other pho spot in town.
