Glad it finally open. Not to shabby. Pho was tasty. Didn't really stand out from the rest. -operationally needs to fine tune. Understandable as it still new and working out the kinks. -coffee- was good. -Will definitely try again in the near future...

Chicken Noodle Soup

The service was good - kind and polite staff throughout our meal. We got the phở ga, sliced pork over vermicelli, lemongrass chicken à la carte, and Thai teas. The phở ga was okay - the broth was tasty but the amount of noodles/broth to the amount of chicken in the bowl was unbalanced. The sliced pork was delicious but again you get about a pound of noodles with about two to three ounces of sliced meat. The star of the meal was the lemongrass chicken. Bright, delicious, strong lemongrass flavor, juicy chicken, all with perfectly cooked vegetables - an ideal meal for the fitness-minded person that wants protein without a lot of carbs.

This Vietnamese Phò Restaurant opened this week. We had a late lunch and will definitely return to try other items. The service was quick, menu had a great selection, not an exhaustive endless menu. We did not try the pho, but started with Vietnamese chicken salad. Salt and pepper fried wings, and beef plate. It was enough for 2 hungry diners. Large locale and not crowded.

Steam rice (a little dry) I like mine a little more on the soft sticky side

New pho spot in the sunrise blvd and Folsom blvd area.. walking in the restaurant is open and inviting but also semi plain because they haven't finished decorating their bar area.. other than that it's a pretty restaurant. The service is awesome.. the waiter and waitress were attentive and took order and brought out our food pretty quick. First time here so we had to try a few items. My son ordered eggrolls and chicken pho with no veggies or toppings. It looked plain but don't let it fool you! I don't usually order chicken pho at restaurants because it's always a ehhhh for me but I tasted his broth and it was great! It was clean tasting and had flavor unlike other pho places.. please don't change anything because I want to come back and try the pho myself next time. The eggrolls had a lot of flavor. And lots of ground meat inside it was a thumbs up for sure. I wanted something homey so I ordered the canh chua shrimp. A Vietnamese dish that family's usually eat for dinner along with some caramelized pork ribs. The soup was delicious. The caramelized ribs had an overwhelming oyster sauce taste so it was just ok for me. My son also wanted to try the salt n pepper ribs and he loved them.. it wasn't overly salted it was flavored well. Overall I will be back to try more dishes and post them for others to see..

new viet spot inside sf supermarket just dropped! The menu's got all the staples like cá kho & canh chua. I grabbed a coconut juice and it was so refreshing---like instant reset. Super convenient location + staff was on it, quick and attentive without hovering. Def one of those lowkey spots you keep in rotation.

Stir-fried beef with onions and bell peppers Black pepper beef cubes with vegetables Tender beef bites served over fresh salad It's very delicious. I will come again.

Bun Bo Hue

Bun bo hue was pretty solid, good flavor and a good amount of meat. I prefer my noodles a little more Al dente and these were a bit on the softer side but overall was a good bowl. A couple items we wanted to order was out of stock though. Service was nice, they had some communication issues with us but they helped us the best they could. One of the guys that made the noodles even came out to replace a bowl of pho that they accidentally gave beef broth instead of chicken broth. But it was a miscommunication and we didn't mind but he replaced the bowl and was really apologetic. We appreciated that.

Very underwhelming yet extremely expensive pricing lists for a new pho place. The coconut and tempura shrimps were dainty; egg rolls and dumplings look like store-bought. Nothing is exciting in this place. Glad I tried. No recommendation from me. The Pho Fresh branch in Colma St. is 10 x better and affordable. Sorry Pho Tasty, you had your brief chance. Btw, one last critique, the interior design of the place seems mismatched. You have murals and paintings of old China/Vietnam nature, but lighting and furniture are so modern. The vibe is lost and so is the flavor. This visit was disappointing in all angles.

I had a very uncomfortable experience here. The service felt discriminatory, and it seemed like they only prioritized white customers.

Overpriced, lacking flavor, worse customer service. I am never going back. If I could give it a zero, I would.

Great Pho in a pinch!…read more Location/Vibe: Clean old school location that reminded me of the places I use to visit when I was younger. They had plentiful seating and all the tables are spaced well apart. Parking lot is a bit small but is shares a wider lot with a bunch of other businesses Service: Service was friendly and quick. Staff checked on us quite a bit which was nice. Food: Ordered Pho but they have limited selection choices. The nice thing though is that they allowed me to substitute items on my order. Our table ordered quite a few items including appetizers and the amazing sounding Steak Lover. They have a nice wide selection of items as well for those big groups

Unfortunately, a deeply disappointing experience that felt more like a disorganized fast-food…read moreplace... The quality was significantly below average. I ordered the Pho Tai, but the meat arrived pre-cooked, shredded, and low grade. Even worse, the rice noodles came in a solid, blocky cube that I had to manually pry apart. The Banh Mi was equally poor--the bread was incredibly hard/stale, and the meat was sliced far too thick with large chunks of unchewable fat. The service was non-existent. I had to specifically ask for basics like chopsticks and sauces just to begin my meal. I got a single paper napkin. The staff seemed entirely uninterested. I thanked my server on three separate occasions and never once received a "you're welcome" or even a nod. No one ever checked on the table during the meal to see if I needed anything. After finishing, I waited over 10 minutes for a check that never arrived. I eventually had to walk up to the counter just to pay so I could leave. At that point I saved $6 since self-service isn't tip-worthy... I left feeling confused as to whether this was supposed to be a sit-down restaurant or a self-service cafe. Save your money and head to a spot that actually understands Vietnamese cuisine and basic customer service.

On this cold, & wild rain, there's honestly nothing better than a steaming bowl of pho, so we found…read moreourselves back at Pho Viet Anh for round two, tonight. I originally came in fully committed to ordering the Bún Bò Huế (P4), but the moment I heard about the $3.50 giant rib add-on, all bets were off. I switched to the P1 Combo Pho just so I could have that massive, fall-off-the-bone rib soaking in that rich, aromatic broth and it was absolutely worth it. The broth was deeply savory and comforting, layered with flavor without being overly salty, and that rib took things to another level. Tender, meaty, and perfectly braised, it made each bite feel extra indulgent. My boyfriend went with the bánh mì pork sandwich, and we added fried egg rolls for the table. The bánh mì had that perfect balance of crispy baguette, juicy pork, and fresh pickled veggies, while the egg rolls came out hot, crunchy, and packed with flavor. We also got the chance to meet the owner/chef and had such a great conversation, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the night. Safe to say, this spot continues to deliver -we'll definitely be back for more.

And no cilantro is offered. Service was less than stellar. We were there on a weeknight, it wasn't very busy, just a few tables -- but the waitress seemed disinterested in waiting on her tables. Everyone appeared to have to flag her down to order drinks, to order food, to get sides, and to get their check.
