Very salted! Lots of white onions in most dishes. We ordered crab fried rice & mixed vegetables with pork stirred fried. They are heavily salted and too many white onions. The rice was too wet and clumped together with barely any crab meat. The veggie was mushy and dark in colors. They both tasted bad and we threw them away. Don't think we will come back read more

Great Pick! My wife and I were invited to a dinner date by a friend and his wife and the place did not disappoint! Service was on point, servers were very understanding that this is a first meeting between our spouses so they gave us ample time to get to know each other. When it was time order food, the whole process was very seamless and food was served in a short period of time. it was an excellent experience and was pleasantly surprised on how affordable it was. i marked this restaurant on my Yelp favorites! I'm definitely coming back here to try their other dishes and I wouldn't change anything on that splendid night ! thank you Thai Paradise! read more

Pretty good spot with some standout dishes! The highlights for me were the beef salad, spring rolls, and chicken pad Thai--all were really tasty and satisfying. The shrimp tom yum was a little sweeter than I prefer, but it was still good overall. The service was excellent and the staff were very welcoming. I especially appreciated that they even brought out a bowl of water for my dog--such a thoughtful touch! We sat outside because of my dog and there was a pretty water fountain and a nice breeze. Overall, a solid place with great service and several dishes worth trying. read more

It was a rare occasion that I was able to order and pickup a weekday lunch. First time visit! I walked in and ordered lunch on the spot. The staff was awesome; welcoming and helpful. Friendly vibes. Beautiful interior exuding an elevated casual ambiance. The food order came out super quick. Hot 'n fresh. I ordered the lunch special - chicken yellow curry. $15.95. It came with a side of rice. If I dined in, it would have came with a side salad. Playing it safe with the heat level. I chose the yellow curry since it's typically the mildest of Thai curries. I could taste the flavors of lemongrass and coconut milk. The chicken was thinly sliced like fajita slices, but much thinner. I'm totally down with visiting again and trying out other items. The food here is really good. Best Thai food I've had in the US. I'm vegetarian. Their spicy fried rice and drunken noodles are so so good and flavorful. Spice can be inconsistent at times. But so worth it. Tried their mango sticky rice as well it's okay. I've definitely had better. Service is good. read more

Usually a very good place we enjoy, one of the best Thai places in the Sacramento area. We were there for lunch on Sunday and towards the end of our meal a cockroach crawled across the table and onto one of our plates. We called the staff over and they killed it and advised us our lunch was taken care of by them and we left. I understand establishments have issues from time to time, but it appears from another comment this has happened within the past month that is why I'm posting this. read more

Amazing. Delicious. Scrumptious. Flavorful. This gem is soooo good!!! My mom brought us here over this past weekend during their lunch hour and everything we ordered was top notch (and included a simple salad with the most awesome peanut dressing!!) We ordered: the spring rolls (just veggies) but wow!!!!! The veggies were so crisp and fresh, the wrapper so chewy and the tamarind and peanut dipping sauces were so flavorful and full of zest! It was absolutely delicious Papaya salad was top notch! We got medium spicy and the spice was perfect. Everything was full of flavor and crunch Thai fried rice was delicious! Perfect for Littles who do not eat spicy. We added shrimp and my son inhaled it. Tom yum soup with shrimp was hands down the best! I love spicy food but due to kids I couldn't order it too spicy but it was a tiny bit of kick and was loaded with mushrooms and shrimp and I could totally see and taste all the lemon grass. It was amazing !!! Pad See Ew with beef was top notch. Noodles were chewy, beef was tender with the delicious crisp burnt edges, everything about it was heaven Pad Thai with chicken was good, a little sweet for me but my dad loved it! Everything was great. Shout out to our server Zack who was super attentive and so nice. I can't wait to come back here to try more things! Highly recommend! read more

Excellent Thai food. Enjoyed a nice meal with our daughter on the outside patio with the pup. Green Curry: Spice level 5 had some kick, not uncomfortably spicy. Green beans, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, eggplant, basil in a rich coconut milk with green curry paste, outstanding! Eggplant Delight: Sauteed eggplant, jalapeno bell peppers, onions & basil with Tofu. A spicy almost Mongolian beef sauce made this dish delicious. Includes a lunch salad with some tasty peanut sauce dressing. Friendly staff & quick lunch service. Patio has water fountains, plants & plenty of umbrellas to enjoy a summer meal. read more

This place was recommended to us by some new friends who also love Thai food. We had to drive over 30 minutes to get here, but I must say that when we arrived the drive was worth the trip. We arrived later in the evening, and while there seem to be a good number of people there in the restaurant we were seated quickly and menus were distributed. It seemed to take our waiter, a long time to bring our water to us, and after he dropped the water off, we didn't see him for a long time. Instead of checking on us, he constantly walked back-and-forth past our table without ever stopping or glancing at us to see if we needed anything else Overall, the quality of the food was really good. The flavors were very pronounced, but still quite balanced. I like really spicy food and they did a good job of making my dish spicy without just throwing peppers into the dish like an afterthought. The curry was actually smooth creamy and very rich, and I was satisfied with the level of heat that they added to it. My wife ordered the curry noodles and the dish was much larger than expected and very tasty!. Deducting one star because the waiter pretty much ignored us after we got our food, walking past our table multiple times to service other tables. I had to get his attention to request a refill of my water and instead of just filling my glass, he dropped off a pitcher and disappeared again. I would still go back to this restaurant because the food is really good. read more

We were in the area doing some shopping and decided to give this place a try. Nice establishment with a welcoming appeal. We immediately noticed the outdoor seating which we would have taken advantage of but it was 100 degrees out so we quickly passed on that idea lol We had shrimp egg rolls, chicken laab, a fish dish and 2 cold ones. We finished with mango ice-cream with fried banana. Can't say that it kicked our socks off but it didn't disappoint. It was a great meal will definitely come again when we're in the area. Service was nice too. Our server was sweet, older Asian lady with a pretty smile. read more

This was my 1st time at the Folsom Location. I have been to their El Dorado Hills location in the past. This visit did not disappoint. This restaurant has plenty of seating and looks like it can accommodate large parties if needed. Nice and clean establishment with a very friendly staff. The food tasted good, came out quickly and was presented nicely. We started with Fresh Spring Rolls, then moved on to Avocado Yellow Curry with Chicken. The addition of the Avocado gave the dish a creamy texture. The Pad Thai w/ vegetables was nicely prepared and was a nice sized serving. We had it with Brown Rice and I ordered a Thai Iced Tea to go with my meal. Nice place that seems to stay busy. If you are in Folsom and want some Thai food - give this place a visit. read more

For family cheat meals we have a routine of either DoorDashing burgers or Mexican food. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when my wife suggested that we physically visit a Thai restaurant located 45 minutes away from our home. Pulling into the parking lot we were greeted by a myriad of delicious smells (the restaurant shares a parking lot with Five Guys and a chicken establishment). Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by an employee who escorted us to a table. While we perused the menu, Joy (server) enthusiastically greeted us (you could tell that she enjoys her job)and took drink orders. My wife ordered a glass of white wine, while my son ordered the Thai Iced Tea. For an appetizer, I ordered the Fried Thai Spring Rolls and the Spicy Fried Rice (No egg) as my entree. My wife ordered the Spicy Pompano, while my son chose the Boat Noodles. The Fried Thai Spring Rolls were delicious and paired well with the dipping sauce. The Spicy Fried Rice was so freakin appetizing, lived up to its spicy name, had plenty of vegetables (that's makes it healthy right?), and was large in portion. Joy did a great job of checking in on us and topping off my tween's Thai Iced Tea (refills are included). Everyone delighted in their orders and we enjoyed that moment after you have a superb meal where you just pleasantly stare at one another with a big smile of satisfaction on your faces. If you're looking for delicious food paired with an engaging customer service experience, I highly recommend visiting Thai Paradise. I cannot wait to return and try their Drunken Noodles! read more

Comfort food done right--simple, satisfying, and full of flavor. The drunken noodles and pampano are standout picks.

Our favorite Thai restaurant! We have ordered the red curry many, many times and it's always delicious, especially the eggplant in the sauce. Thai basil is great too but the last time we went, they had a separate more traditional version of Thai basil with ground chicken and fried egg and it was absolutely delicious. The fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce are another favorite item and you can't go wrong with mango sticky rice for dessert. I really wish I was writing a different kind of review, because the food looked great when it arrived. We ordered through DoorDash, and everything seemed normal at first, until it absolutely wasn't. Midway through eating, we discovered a full-on bug sitting in the curry. Not something small or questionable, an actual, clearly visible insect mixed right into the food. At that point, it completely killed our appetite. You don't come back from that. What makes it worse is that this wasn't a dine-in situation where something could've just flown in. This was prepared, packaged, and sent out. That raises serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control in the kitchen. The dish itself had potential. The flavor was solid, but none of that matters once something like this happens. Food safety is the baseline, not a bonus. I'm not someone who leaves reviews like this lightly, but finding a bug in your meal is unacceptable. Hopefully this is taken seriously and addressed, because no one should have to experience that. read more

Average quality and service. Lunch wait staff (male - did not get name) not attentive, seemed to want to get out of there over wait and mis billed credit cards. the food portions are very small considering price paid. We got there. They sat us quick. The service is definitely lacking. Poor service, but shout out to Zack who was the only one who really helped us and brought what we needed everytime we flagged him down. No one came and checked on us to inquire if our food was good. The initial person came and asked us if we wanted to order, but skipped the whole would you like something to drink, hello, my name is...and I'll be helping you. But again...we flagged down Zack and he helped us. My sis ordered the #30 with eggplant and see the photos. It was so greasy, just a layer of grease. My sis didn't even finish it or want to take it to go, so we just left it on the table. We initially didn't want to leave a tip, but we ain't them type of people. Personally, we wish the tip could only go to Zack or I wish I had cash cause he was the only person helping. Most likely won't be going back. 4/10 read more

Parking was easy. No wait at 545 but it quickly filled up. Atmosphere wàs nice. Loads of to go orders all night. Got seated quickly. Our food came out very promptly. First app. We got fresh spring rolls. Just vegetable but delicious. The peanut and what seemed like home made chili sauce (sweet red sauce) was delicious. As soon as we finished our apps out entrees came out hot!!!!! I got the chicken Thai Chow Mein and hubby got pork pad Thai. Big servings, hot and delicious. We recognized we didn't give a spice level so we asked for hot sauces...wow. careful. We got a pot of jasmine tea and got it refilled one more time. We will definitely return. read more

It's a Friday night and I'm taking myself out on a date, I'm easy but I want to impress myself so while in Folsom I decided to go one of the most consistent establishments. Thai paradise offers a beautiful dining room with great and kind staff. It's perfect for an intimate dinner, or a group of friends, or even a solid solo date. The staff is quick and consistent with out being over baring. The food is delicious. It offers great diversity to Folsom's food scene. The pad Thai is spicy but fresh, and the food comes out hot. I mean it's burn your mouth hot, but I love that especially on a cold day. They have an amazing range of beverages and drinks, but I opted for a Thai tea. I could come here every day trying everything on the menu and never be disappointed. read more

Thai Paradise might just be the top spot for Thai food in Folsom. I ordered takeout and went with the shrimp Pad Thai, pineapple curry with chicken (plus a side of jasmine rice), and their crab fried rice. The Pad Thai was packed with flavor, the chicken in the curry was tender, and the crab fried rice? A seafood lover's dream--hearty and delicious. Portions were generous, too. The pineapple curry was a nice balance of sweet and savory, with big chunks of pineapple and a mild, flavorful sauce. Ordering takeout was a breeze--the friendly woman on the phone said it would take about 25 minutes, so I browsed the nearby shops while I waited. When I arrived, I had to wait an extra five minutes, but given it was a busy Friday night, I didn't mind. The food was well worth it! The restaurant itself has a family-friendly vibe, tucked into a cozy corner of a shopping plaza on Bidwell Street. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes--and maybe next time I'll even enjoy their patio seating. All in all, a solid spot that I'll happily return to! read more

The food was appetizing until a cock roach crawled across the booth back and onto the wall. We caught and killed it, handed the napkin to the waiter and informed him that we found and killed the roach. I lost my appetite and stopped eating. No word back from anyone from the restaurant to acknowledge the cockroach or to accommodate us in anyway. I understand it's difficult to keep restaurants clean but we were considerate about not making a fuss, I could have stood up in the packed restaurant and announced the cockroach finding but didn't. Customer service was therefore lacking and cleanliness as well. read more

The flavor of their yellow curry is the best I've ever had. The prices are worth it; every dish is fresh and flavorful. I love having free refills on the Thai iced tea. I was in the shopping center, and this place came up on my phone search. I love Thai food, so I decided to give them a try. The space is clean, bright, and very pretty. They have a large menu, but I decided to get something off of their lunch specials menu. I went for the pineapple curry with chicken. I asked for it mild, and I was not disappointed. The meal started off with a small salad, with an amazing peanut sauce dressing. I love peanut sauce, and this one was absolutely delicious. Not spicy at all. A perfect start to the meal. The curry was also amazing! Just the right consistency, and it was just spicy enough that I knew that it was there, the curry had a wonderfully rich flavor, and the pineapple made it sweet, but not overly sweet. The chicken was tender, and the other fixins were not too hard, and not too soft. It is one of the better Thai curries that I have had. It also came with a good sized portion of jasmine rice, which I love. It didn't look like a lot of food, but I left stuffed! The price was also extremely reasonable. I will be back. Thank you! read more

We stopped here on our way to Tahoe. Some friends recommended this place and I can see why. The food is delicious, beautifully plated and everything is bursting with flavor. The pineapple in my sweet-and-sour pork was cut from fresh pineapple, none of the canned stuff. Hubby had the pad kee mao (which he always gets) and he particularly liked this one. Everything was so delicious! The service was excellent. Our server, named "Dear" is a real dear! She was so sweet and friendly and eagerly made sure we had everything cooked the way we wanted. She went out of her way to give us good service. The outdoor patio is so lovely. I am impressed at how they were able to make a peaceful garden-like patio in a parking lot. You don't even notice that it's a parking lot because the garden is lovely with beautiful fragrant roses surrounding it and you can hear the sound of the soothing fountain water. We really loved our experience here and will come again if we are in town read more

Great ambience and service! I find that food there can be hit or miss. Pad seew was okay. It just missed some elements of a traditional recipe. Also, our kids have nut allergies. Such good thai food! We ordered the pad see iew with beef, crab fried rice, yellow curry with chicken, and the papaya salad. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Tried papaya salad for the first time here and it was really good and I can see why it's a popular dish. It was maybe just a tad too salty with too much fish sauce? The pad see iew was very flavorful and the noodles were the perfect consistency and chewiness. The crab fried rice was also flavorful and such a good portion. We opted for no rice with the yellow curry because it's extra (which I think it should just come with rice?) because we wanted to just eat it with the fried rice and it was a nice combo. I think the yellow curry was my favorite! Service was nice but not super attentive. The dining area was also nice and comfortable. I found a tiny, tiny piece of chicken in my veggie curry. If I was a vegan I would not get their curry or feel comfortable eating here. I also think it's not fair to charge for added eggplant if you ask to remove other vegetables and then they fill the rest of the plate with mainly bamboo and green beans. They aren't precise when it comes to dietary restrictions/allergies/etc. For example one time I said no corn, lo and behold there's a baby corn in my food. read more

This is our usual go to when in Folsom. Today we did some shopping at the outlets nearby and had to stop to have dinner here. The food is flavorful, authentic, delicious and hot as it is served quickly! You could pretty much throw a dart and whatever you order off this menu will be delicious. We love the fresh spring rolls for appetizer and the peanut and honey plum dipping sauces. So refreshing and yummy. We've tried several dishes here with our go to being the drunken noodles, green curry with chicken, asparagus in garlic chili sauce with chicken, and the mango sticky rice for dessert. Oh and don't forget about asking for a scoop of their coconut ice cream to go with the dessert. It melts in your mouth and is an amazing addition not many people know about! I don't even like coconut ice cream but my partner insisted we try it and OMG heaven. Plus it's from Gunther's. So now it's just a part of our meal. The service is always great, although I would give them extra time to get your check to you and to come by and check on you at times, especially if a busy Friday or weekend night. The ambiance is actually very comfortable and inviting due to the lighting and decor indoors. They even have a small outdoor patio to sit at with lighting outside. Overall, I couldn't imagine having never tried this spot. I literally crave the Thai food from here. Do yourself a favor and go try it!!! read more
