My family dined here for a birthday celebration and my step son chose this Thai restaurant due to its great reviews, and since we all live in different areas we met here, as it is closer to my elderly in law 's home. The restaurant is nice and clean and comfortable. Very simply and tastefully decorated and the staff were pleasant and let us take our time getting settled in to the menu. We all ordered their cream cheese wontons to share, and they were so good, we ordered two more orders! They were more flavorful, with the addition of garlic, than the usual ones you get at other restaurants, and we all really enjoyed them! The curries my step granddaughters ordered looked heavenly and they really liked them, and my husband ordered his favorite dish, Thai basil beef, my father and mother in law and I ordered pineapple shrimp and chicken fried rice, and my stepson ordered a curry dish. We all really enjoyed them and their servings are HUGE! We all took home leftovers, which was a plus! Be prepared for large servings! The only drawback (if you want to consider it that) to our dinner was the level of spiciness here. Fr those of us who ordered mild heat, it was way more spicy than we are used to, so, if you aren't a fan of very spicy Thai food, be aware and order it with none. My father and mother in law, who are in their mid 80's, were smart and ordered their fried rice with no spice. I've never been to a Thai restaurant (one of my favorite cuisines!) that had such spicy mil. I just thought I'd warn my fellow Yelpers who are sensitive to hot and spicy food. I recently had lunch here, with three others in my group. We gave the waitress a lot of special requests, but she handled all of them well, and cheerfully. Our entrees arrived one-by-one. I appreciated that, as it meant that each one was brought out as soon as it was cooked, and none of us minded (each person could start eating as his/her food arrived). The meal began with a small side salad for everyone, which was nice as it helped make the short wait (about 10 minutes) feel even shorter. I had Pumpkin Curry with vegetables (no meat) and brown rice. I ordered it 'Hot' (not 'Thai Hot'), but added some chili flakes I had with me, since it wasn't spicy enough for me. I found the sauce flavorful, not too sweet, and the added veggies had a good variety and quantity. I enjoyed it, and would order it again. My husband had Drunken Noodles with vegetables (no meat). He said he loved the noodles (he does love wide noodles), but actually would have preferred a few less, and more veggies. Regardless, he said it was tasty and filling. He also found the 'Hot' not that spicy, but there was enough kick that he didn't add my chili flakes. The others in our party also enjoyed what they ordered (Avocado Curry with veggies, and Pra-Ram with chicken). The waitress was great, checking in with us three or four times during our meal, to make sure we weren't needing anything. Prices are similar to or a bit lower compared with most other Folsom Thai restaurants. All around, another very good experience here. read more

First time really trying Thai food, got their pad thai & BBQ chicken. Pad thai was 7/10 . Acquired taste, definitely wont get it again in my life. Bbq chicken 1/10. Definitely not my thing. We came here about 30 minutes before they closed and they got us seated with no problem! There was plenty of seating and was nicely decorated. We ended up ordering tom yum soup, pad thai with chicken, and panang curry with beef. The portion sizes were massive. The tom yum soup was excellent. The pad thai had flavor out of this world. However, the noodle was a bit to chewy for my preference and had a lot of sauce that the peanuts were not as crunchy. The panang curry was the right amount of spicy for flavor but not burning your mouth. Also, the curry did not come with rice so make sure to order it on the side. We were so hungry and ate the food so fast that we did not have time for photos. Overall, I would like to come back and try the food again not at closing time. read more

We finally try this restaurant on Saturday night for dinner. We were the only customers there so we were seated immediately. The server was very attentive to us. He checked us often to refill the water and gave us extra utensils. The food came out pretty quick (about 10 minutes after we ordered). - Pad thai with chicken: very good pad thai. The noodle was perfectly cooked - chewy and still had a bite. The flavor was on point with a hint of tamarind. They gave pretty good amount of juicy chicken pieces . The portion was very generous - we couldn't finish it between us. - green curry with chicken: delicious. The curry was creamy and flavorful. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. The green bean still had its crunch. The chicken was juicy and there were plenty of them. - mango sticky rice: YUM! The perfect dessert to end the meal! The sauce was creamy coconuty that wasn't too sweet. The sticky rice was perfectly cooked and supple. The star was the sweet and refreshing mango! Walked under the covered sidewalk from Dr Potocki's chiropractic office, turned the corner at Junni's and found this little gem of a Thai restaurant! Several customers walked in before me, and I decided to give this place a try on a whim. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and ambiance casual and clean. A good amount of selection to choose from and went for the Boat noodle soup. I asked for light salt and the food was nicely flavored. Soup base was sweeter than traditional savory Asian soup bases. The beef was plentiful and chewy. I recommend this dish to those who like sweet soup bases like the Japanese sukiyaki. Service was fast and food highly enjoyable. While sitting by the window, many more customers came trickling in on a Wednesday lunch time. The place was bustling! Looks like a well known local secret. The pumpkin curry was a HUGE portion, and was my favorite. My only criticism is the noodle dishes had too much sauce, and the papaya salad had too much dressing. New place we just visited, lived the food and Thai tea so much. Everything was yummy. Place was nice and clean. Service was very good. Server was very nice and welcoming. There is a new Thai restaurant in town and it's a good one! After passing this place several times a week and reading the reviews we decided to try it for dinner. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good. The Tom Yum soup is great and loaded with lemongrass flavor. There were pieces of chicken, mushroom, and onions. Nice umami flavor and satisfying. The pad see ew is a little more on the sweeter side but still tasty. The Thai fried rice is fabulous and my eldest gobbled it up. The chicken satay was a large and I believe they use chicken breast instead of the traditional thigh/dark meat. Overall it was a very satisfying meal. There was one server host who was working very hard and could have used more help. I wish some of the tables could accommodate larger parties- hard to fit the dishes family style on the tables. Sure they have your usual Thai dishes, but they also have some very innovative and different options. We've been there twice and have enjoyed both times. On our last visit, I had rambutan curry, which I had never heard of before. It was a excellent blend of a red curry with rambutan fruit in it so a mix of Umami and excellent flavors with occasional sweetness. The beef larb was good but needed a little more fish salt and lemon, the Thai fried rice with beef was delicious and full of wok flavor, the spicy pompano fish was delicious flavorful, savory however wish it was actually spicy like its name.
