I came in before 4:30pm with plenty of time to shop- except at 4:50pm I was told they were closing at 5. I mentioned that I made a special trip to come by and online it says 6pm? I was told I would probably have to come back. The more frustrating part is that I mentioned my family had shopped with them before. As I was leaving she asked how I heard about them? Initially I mentioned I would be interested in green/blue/purple colors or neutrals like black/grey/brown/camel. She asked 15 minutes later what colors I would be interested in. I left with photos of two leathers in colors that would be an option. Crickets. No follow up call or e-mail with other options or suggestions. I need other furniture for other rooms and will go elsewhere for everything. FYI you cannot take delivery of items at the Rocklin store. You can pay for delivery or go to West Sac for pickup.

We both have nothing but good things to say about Jennifer and the Ethan Allen order / delivery support people. Jennifer is everything you want in a designer. First off, she is an excellent listener. That's so important when you are trying to get another person to understand what you like and dislike and the vision you have in your head. She's also very skilled at her craft, interior design, with a real eye for what colors, textures, and shapes go together. She's also quite skilled with interior design software and putting together computer-generated layouts of how she envisions her designs in your home. I found that to be extremely helpful. And lastly, she has a great personality, is easy to work with, has a good sense of humor, has an enormous amount of energy so she keeps your projects moving right along, and is prompt with replies to questions sent to her by email, text, or phone. My wife and I were also extremely impressed with one of Ethan Allen's "white glove" delivery teams that was comprised of Hugo and Kenneth. We've had Hugo and Kenneth make multiple deliveries to our house, sometimes with large items like rugs, headboards, oversized chairs, or end tables. Hugo and Kenneth always put booties on over their shoes before entering the house, were careful when navigating narrow hallways with large items, and were careful with our hardwood floors when putting items into place. On future orders (and with my wife as happy as she is with what she's ordered thus far from Ethan Allen I'm sure there will be more), We will be sure to ask for Hugo and Kenneth by name to be the ones to deliver the items.

They replaced the recliner with the same chair, which did the exact same thing. I have furniture that I bought at Ashley's which I've had for years, and has stood the test of time. Ashley's is a higher quality store than Ethan Allen. The structure of the chair is falling apart now. Ethan Allen is not a store that sells quality furniture, nor does it supply competent sales people. I am not one to post opinions on these sites, but think people should be aware that Ethan allen is not the store it was 20 years ago.

These items are solid and a huge improvement over IKEA and Staples inventory for not much more money. They have a warehouse you can browse, but hours are limited to Monday-Friday during the day. It is pretty basic, but the staff and inventory are solid. Even though places like this cater to offices and businesses, it is a great option for single purchases. I was able to score a nice Herman Miller Aeron chair here at a much lower cost than new, and it is in great condition. Most of the other items are reasonable, although some may have minor cosmetic flaws or need some upgrades. They also had a lot of standing desks and corner desks which are great options for smaller bedroom and nooks. I was cash and carry, but they can probably help arrange delivery and installation options for a fee. Selection is variable and limited based on availability, so do not expect a lot of inventory. Although you may be lucky like I was! One of the staff was very helpful in showing me the selection and demonstrating the features of the chair. I was able to find the right fit, and he cleaned and loaded the chair into my car. Everything is changing, but having a good home office may be the new normal for many.
