Don't use this company. They have a reputation for being dishonest as we recently experienced. A family member left a $100 deposit for some work on a couch cushion. After some time, I called to get an update and she stated that she had not yet received the fabric. I waited some more time and then when they failed to do the work I asked that my deposit of $100 be returned to me. The husband was really nice and was working with me but the wife, Kelly, refused to give my deposit back. I am on a fixed income and $100 is a lot of money to me. We decided to have our sectional reupholstered. Checked three shops and Crown's bid was comparable, they were close, and offered pickup and delivery. They delivered the completed sofa this morning and so far it looks great. The reason for only three stars is the length of time it took from when we got the estimate to completion. They couldn't pickup and start the job for nine weeks, and stated it would take three weeks to complete. We were going to leave on a trip the day after, but received a call a week before saying they couldn't pickup until after we would be gone. They agreed to pick it up on the original date promised, but after over five weeks we finally got our sofa back. The lack of communication during the delay, except when I called them, was disappointing. read more

Decent work. I had dropped off custom benches and requested for only partial of it to be re-upholstered. Job was complete but I noticed a couple of corners where stable over fabric wasn't as before. This was very minor as we simply moved the bench down an inch to hide said fabric fold over. I think it would of looked nicer should of it been stretched and staples flat rather than bundle over together. No biggie. Timing was average thou they got me in right away. I don't guarantee this for all as I'm sure they just wanted the long and awkward size cushion out hehe. If I could give them no stars, I would! Most unprofessional people I've EVER dealt with. Brought them a simple small job on June 1st & was told 2 weeks because it would take a week for material to arrive. Checked in 3 weeks later cause I never heard for anyone & was told another week... went out of town & came back 2 weeks later & was "promised" on a Friday it would be done the following Monday.... that happened two weeks in a row! I should also mention that it is the top to the center console in my truck they were supposed to reupholster for me. Sense the top is off it has left me with two metal arms sticking straight up in the air. Even the woman that works at Crown agreed it was dangerous to be driving around like that! I just picked up my couch cushions. Having bought a very expensive couch and the foam not holding up well I had them put more dense foam in them. I was very sadden by the upholster job that I had done here. My husband and we're upholsters and also had a brother that was master upholster so we knew great upholstering. We had just sold our sewing machines and supplies thinking we were done doing upholstery work. We knew we had a chair and heard that Crown Upholstery would do a good job. When we got the chair back the back cushion wasn't even the same size that it was supposed to have been. 4 pleated skirt parts of the chair were left with with raw edges and not lined as they should of been. Bottom cushion zipper head was not covered and the tongue of the zipper was hitting the back of the chair. We gave them 1 yard extra yard of material and they said they didn't have enough material to make the arm covers that the original chair had. They said they would fix it but I needed to order $300.00 to fix the errors. I called to see if they could fix errors and never got a call back.
