First we meet in the office to go over colors and fabrics. David had incredible knowledge and great suggestions of what would fit with our space and accounted for our pets. We landed on a thus great blue color that wouldn't be harmed by cats and great at dealing with moisture. Then his people came to our home, quickly but carefully took all the chairs and bench and they were off. Vanessa and her team were so helpful and helped us step outside our comfort zone with chair fabric. We were so happy with the process, we decided to also have a bench upholstered and a pair of draperies made for a spare bedroom. While we are extremely happy with the quality with all three projects, the chairs are the most impressive, due to the complexity involved in the repeat in the fabric. The piece had been stored in a barn for years with moisture damage/, many loose/wobbly components - I had strongly questioned trying to have it restored - but it was a sentimental family piece - so we proceeded. The returned piece was absolutely stunning! I literally could not believe that the returned piece was like a new, exceptionally high quality piece of furniture. The second project was refinishing a 1920's solid mahogany bedroom set (two dressers/two night stands). Again, end product was stunning. The third project was refinishing of a newer but very expensive coffee table. Again, refinished table looked brand new.
