Highlands did the upholstery on our renovated jackknife bed in our RV. Beautiful job that still, after 4 years, looks brand new.

Our sofa had a classic frame with oversized seat cushions and feathered back cushions approximately 20 years old, and the fabric was showing signs of wear and tears in two distinct areas along with the frames fabric. Ed suggested semi-firm foam replacements which was perfect, and thought that the fabric would be fine for now, but consider a fabric change next time I decide needed new foam cushions. So 5 years later I decided this October to replace them again, Ed suggested that future cushion replacement may not be feasible due to the fabrics extensive wear. He suggested that I consider reupholstering as we were unable to find a suitable replacement in the market. Our needs required a comfortable couch that could accommodate two dogs and two humans. The market was lacking style and craftsmanship. So I made an appointment with his lovely wife Lily, who manages the showroom. Lily suggested we browse through the MULTIPLE design books, guiding this upholstery fabric novice on what would and would not be great for a sofa especially if we catered to spoiling our 4 legged friends. We spent several hours carefully deciding on a texture and a color until we found the perfect one. To ensure that the project was completed before the holidays, Ed's plan was to do this project in 2 phases so we'd have something to sit on while the reupholstering of the sections was happening. The process was seamless, Ed and his team made sure that each sections transport was properly packed and protected since of course it was time for the rainy season to begin. The final result is a beautiful couch with fabric that will last for years. They went above and beyond to make this project a success even as the holidays approached they were confident that I'd have a new couch Christmas and they delivered! If you are looking for a completely new look for your furniture, Custom Upholstery can provide exceptional results. I highly recommend them, as their craftsmanship is truly exceptional. Ed has been in the business for over 20 years, and his expertise is evident in every aspect of the project. This husband and wife team are both passionate, professional and committed to customer care.

So we started yelping and expert we found! We needed someone who knows the ins and outs of a La Z boy recliner. My husband read his great reviews on yelp and so he immediately contacted Gonzalo. He promptly responded within 10 minutes and gave us a quote right after my husband explained the problem. His communication skill is outstanding and highly responsive. We had an appointment within a few days and he was able to fix the problem. He is courteous, friendly, VERY knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. Gonazalo is a true professional dedicated to his craft. His quality of work is topnotch. He replaced the plastic parts with metal and consequently made the recliner better and quieter. Did I mention he is VERY reasonably priced? I highly and definitely recommend Gonzalo.

The first time, you were a no-show and didn't notify me until I reached out. You mentioned a job running late and said you'd still come, but by 8 PM you never showed and didn't inform us until after the fact. You then rescheduled and even offered a discount, but once again, you did not show up--this time citing the accident. I was never informed ahead of time, and instead my number was given to another technician without my permission. Please ask before sharing a client's contact information. I had to take time off work to be available for these appointments, and after multiple no-shows, I ultimately had to repair the recliner myself. Regardless of the circumstances, the lack of communication and repeated missed appointments were unprofessional and a significant inconvenience.
