One of my top dining experiences! The food was phenomenal and the service could not have been better! Each course was delicious and beautiful. The coordination of service was flawless. We enjoyed meeting each person that made our dining experience so memorable. Manager was so personable and friendly. Highly recommend! Worth every penny!

February Tasting Menu - chocolate and guava sorbet

Came back from 3 weeks ago from celebrating our anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience that we came back to celebrate 60th birthday and this time we brought family to join us. We didn't have the opportunity to reserve the private room but we were lucky to be seated together at the large round table for 11 under the beautiful chandelier. We arrived a bit early but were seated immediately. Brian and supporting staff was incredible accommodating to all our needs making sure our water glass was always full. Never had to flag anyone down for a refill. We all decided to order the 6 course prefix except for mom who had the 3 course. Every entree was wonderful, filling and delicious! They served a February Tasting Menu that was different from our last visit. Menu changes monthly and so far our 2 visits has been incredible and special dining experience. Would be willing to come back to celebrate another special occasion or just when in town visiting.

Food was delicious, we ordered the 50 layer lasagna, Clam chowder along with some appetizers. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. Reservations are recommended as it does get busy, we were seated at the Bar which I didn't mind since we had no reservations. Bartender Jessica was amazing so attentive to us. Ambiance is very formal and very romantic. Perfect place for a nice romantic dinner. Five stars for this restaurant for sure.

Initially, I was impressed by their staff's teamwork to provide a truly luxe dining experience and the interior's sloping design taking a large space and making it feel cozy. I started with their creamy, flavorful burrata toast with eggplant caponata and basil, which was the perfect balance of cool cheese over a savory base. The gem lettuce salad was crisp, vibrant, and refreshing with its carrot, sesame, and ginger vinaigrette. For my entrée, I savored a perfectly cooked filet mignon--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. This would have been a perfect dinner had I not sweated the whole time I was there, the dessert (again) took 25 minutes to come to the table, and then it was rather unappealing - peach mousse "bomb" which was a bland, gelatinous, gritty mess with some non-descript small peach bits inside. Not the best ending to an otherwise fantastic meal.

Had an amazing experience at the bar with Jess on Monday night. She took great care of me, provided a sparkling wine based welcome drink went over the menu with me and suggested wine pairings. This place is right off the town square. Reservations arerecommend recommended. I enjoyed the salmon canapé best. The focaccia was second. The butterscotch cheesecake was third. And the kiwi salad and halibut tied. The halibut was a little dry, but the vegetables with the halibut were amazing!

One of my friends saw an article on the best restaurants in Healdsburg and five of us collectively agreed to Dry Creek Kitchen. Great choice as it is excellent all around! Dry Creek hit all my 5 stars requirements. Walk through the high double door entrance and upscale, contemporary yet very California wine country ambiance abounds. Even the rest rooms were beautiful. The $75 prix fixe menu has enough variety at every course to satisfy each of our preferences. For Canapés, the Miyagi oysters pulled from nearby Tomales Bay were so fresh and lush! I favor west coast over east coast, and they were exquisite. You only get 2 but I could've eaten a dozen or more. My first course was a refreshing Kampachi Crudo, but I wished I had picked what others tried: Brokaw Grilled Avocado was phenomenal and bursting with flavors...smoked trout roe, pickled onion, marinated beet crème fraiche, and everything spice quinoa crunch. Perfection! My main course Liberty Duck Breast was awesome, perfectly cooked and beautifully rendered. Seared Day Scallops were tasty, and the Flannery Beef 28-day Rib Eye was mouth-watering delicious. Our cocktails and obviously the wine selection were amazing, and we finished our dessert with a round of espresso martinis. Dry Creek Kitchen was a perfect end to a fun but long tasting day in spectacular cloudless wine country. Luckily we had a Uber to take us back to our hotel!

We had a wonderful dinner the other night. We started with the little gem salad and the Dungeness crab gazpacho. For main entrees we had the chicken roulade and the salmon. For dessert we shared the white peach mousse bomb and the blackberry frangipane tart. All of the portions and flavors were spot on. Our server was very professional but also a little harried because he had many tables to cover that night. Even the bussers acted professionally.

Solid choice; fantastic service, delicious food. This is one of the long standing restaurants since this building was added to the area and for good reason, it's a tried and true. The service matches the delicious menu and fantastic cocktail and wine program. You can't go wrong with any of the choices. I don't give 5 stars often but this hits the spot.

Dining Delight at Dry Creek Kitchen I had the pleasure of dining at the charming Dry Creek Kitchen in Healdsburg. Despite being a solo diner, I was warmly welcomed into the elegant yet cozy atmosphere--the perfect setting for savoring a memorable meal. I decided to indulge in the seven-course tasting menu, and it certainly did not disappoint. My culinary adventure began with an amuse bouche, truffle egg, on to the first dish, lightly torched Akamatsu, accompanied by Ponzu radish and sea bean. This delicate dish set the stage for the array of flavors to come. The next course, a Dayboat scallop with parsnip, Preston farm strawberry, and vanilla bean vierge, harmoniously combined the sweetness of the strawberry with the subtlety of vanilla, complementing the succulent scallop perfectly. The standout dish for me was the morel mushroom with black garlic and Parmigiano Reggiano. Though I am not typically fond of morels, this expertly crafted dish was a revelation. The earthy mushroom flavor was elevated by the robust notes of black garlic, resulting in a delectable combination of textures and tastes. Next, I was presented with a liberty duck breast, adorned with cherry and pork. Despite not being an avid fan of duck, this dish was executed flawlessly, as the rich duck flavors married beautifully with the fruity and savory accompaniments. The fifth course featured painter hill bacon with Sun choke Mira Shishido Pepper, a delightful fusion of flavors that left me craving more. To conclude my meal, I indulged in the homemade ice cream and sorbet. I opted for the vanilla and blackberry, though there was also an option for chocolate and kiwi. This sweet treat was the ideal finale to an unforgettable dining experience. Throughout my time at Dry Creek Kitchen, the service was impeccable. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made me feel right at home, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in Healdsburg, whether you're flying solo or with company. It's no wonder chef Charlie Palmer has earned such acclaim in the culinary world--I, for one, am eager to explore more of his restaurants and discover the innovative dishes they have to offer. If this place wasn't recommended by a trusted source, I would not have made it since the restaurant had average 3.5 stars and no Michelin star, which doesn't pass my usual bar, so this was definitely a fun surprise :) Courtney was truly amazing. Lovely, knowledgeable and very accommodating! Thank you team dry creek!

The fresh halibut entree was flaky and flavorful.

Once again, Thursday Night Neighbors menu drew us into DCK . Crisp white linens, sparkling glasses and fresh flowers. We now have our favorite table and server. While the food was superb, a shoutout to Isabella, Chris, and Ben is well deserved. They made it the delightful evening that it was. Surprise! Instead of the Neighbor' menu we opted for the August tasting menu. A multi-course meal with surprising and creative tastes. Worth every penny....

DCK Gem lettuce salad swimming in dressing and sprinkled with live ants. Fail

DCK was a huge disappointment in regards to service and food. We sat outside on the patio on Friday, May 9 which was nice with the exception of the horrible service. I suspect the less experience servers are assigned to the patio. Our waiter could not describe even a salad. In fact, he told my husband that a particular salad was actually a "cold pasta". My husband ordered it and it was not a pasta. I ordered the gem salad and it was swimming in dressing(s) not edible due to overdressing and found several ants in it. I showed the waiter my salad and the ants- the waiter took his writing pen out of his pocket and used his dirty pen to attempt to fish out the ants. I sent the salad back- he did not bring me a new one nor did he remove the inedible salad from our bill. Unacceptable on many fronts. We have been to DCK many times and were very disappointed with the service or lack thereof. The care to the food was lacking as well. Lastly, the sommelier should always open the wines; our waiter clearly had no clue about the wine (Saxum) and zero clue about wine stem wear. As the saying goes you are only as good as your weakest link and the patio staff were a colossal fail. Next time, we are going to Troubadour Bread and Bistro.

This is our second time trying this restaurant, the first time was about 13 years ago. We still had a great experience, good food, and left very happy. We tried one of the tasting menus and it was perfect. We will definitely continue to come here when we're in the area and would recommend to anyone

What's the dress code for DCK?

I wouldn't have been comfortable with anything less than business attire. Yes, there were people there with Hawaiian shirts and even collarless shirts, but this place has a more formal vibe than that attire would suggest.

Is DCK dog friendly? Just a little dachsund who sleeps under the table. Thanks!

Who would bring their dog to a place like this?? ?

We knew immediately this was going to be a special night. We went all in with the chef's prix fixe menu, and it delivered from the very first bite. Warm, homemade dinner rolls -- fragrant with thyme, garlic, and chili flakes, served alongside pillowy whipped butter -- set the tone perfectly. We loved them so much we asked for a second basket without a moment's hesitation. The Sonoma County Organic Salad that followed was nothing short of a revelation: crisp Little Gem lettuce, Pioneer Micro Herbs and edible flowers, beautifully shaved vegetables, whipped fromage blanc, and a Green Goddess dressing that tied it all together with effortless elegance. Perfection is the only word for it. For our entrées, the Petrale Sole Meunière was a masterclass in refined, soulful cooking -- the Costeaux sourdough croutons, potato fondant, haricot verts, and caper beurre noisette working in perfect harmony. And the pork porchetta with nduja? Cooked flawlessly, bold, deeply satisfying, and utterly memorable. We paired the meal with the Valette Rosé of Pinot Noir, which has instantly earned a place among the finest rosés we've ever tasted -- vibrant, nuanced, and a dream with every course. Dessert brought the ItsNotA 'Snickers Bar' and the Almond Frangipane, both executed brilliantly and the ideal sweet finale to an extraordinary meal. Valette isn't just a great restaurant -- it's our new favorite dining destination, full stop. We'll be back, again and again.

From the moment we sat down at the best seats in the house, the personal touches were everywhere--even the menu was personalized with the birthday girl's name. The service was impeccable. Our server, Jacob, was a delight; his deep knowledge of the menu helped us navigate our choices, and his expertise in decanting our 2006 Hewitt Cabernet was much appreciated. We started with the only French Champagne offered by the glass, which paired beautifully with the Tsar Nicoulai Osetra Caviar. While the bowl's design made the caviar slightly hard to reach, the flavors were so stunning we found ourselves pining for more. For entrees, the Liberty Farms Duck Breast was a standout--perfectly medium-rare and easily some of the best duck I've ever had. The Prime New York Strip was equally impressive; the meat was so flavorful on its own that the side of sauce Raifort wasn't even necessary. We finished with two delicate cakes and a lovely visit from the owner, who shared some of the restaurant's multi-generational history. We left feeling truly special.

From the very beginning of the meal, there was a clear sense of precision, elegance, and intention. The opening presentation was stunning, filled with an assortment of beautifully composed small bites featuring oyster, mushroom, sea bream, and a variety of other seasonal ingredients. Each bite felt delicate yet purposeful, showcasing both technical refinement and remarkable balance. One of the most memorable dishes of the evening was the bluefin tuna moriawase paired with strawberries. Normally, fruit in savory dishes tends to feel distracting or overly sweet to me, but the execution here was exceptional. The chefs managed to create a harmony between sweetness, tartness, acidity, and umami that elevated the tuna rather than overshadowing it. It was a dish that felt thoughtful, restrained, and incredibly well composed. The consistency throughout the progression of the menu was equally impressive. Course after course arrived with meticulous presentation and a strong sense of identity. Every dish felt polished and intentional, balancing visual artistry with flavors that were equally compelling. There was never a moment where the meal lost momentum, and the pacing allowed each course to feel distinct while still contributing to a cohesive experience. That said, there was one course that completely missed the mark for our group. The milk and honey dessert, which resembled a sponge cake topped with a whipped goat cheese foam, was overwhelmingly pungent and difficult to approach as a dessert course. The intensity of the goat cheese dominated every other component, to the point where it felt less like a composed dessert and more like being punched by a goat farm. Looking around the dining room, it seemed we were not alone in our reaction. Interestingly, when we mentioned that this was the only dish we did not enjoy, we were told, "if at least 1 out of 10 guests enjoy it, we consider it a win." It was certainly an unexpected response, especially given how polished and thoughtful the rest of the experience had been. Even with that misstep, the overall meal was exceptional. SingleThread succeeds in delivering a dining experience that feels elegant, immersive, and deeply personal. Between the artistry of the presentations, the balance of flavors, and the technical execution across the menu, it remains one of the most impressive three Michelin star experiences in California.
