Decided to try this place out for an early lunch/brunch. This place has inside and outside seating. You have to stand in line and order from the counter. They have many options to choose from. I had the burger. It was nicely cooked with lots of flavor. It came with a delicious side salad. My gf had the eggs Benedict she said it was delicious. Definitely can't wait to come back and try something different.

I was passing through Healdsburg and needed lunch + a cold brew! Acorn Cafe was the cutest spot! The high ratings didn't disappoint. Service was on point, the place was clean, vibe was chill! The food was yummy! Definitely loved the bread and fries! Best fries! Overall, chill spot!

We were visiting a friend, who took us to Acorn Cafe for lunch. What a cute place! A beautiful patio greets you first when you approach the cafe. The indoor seating is no slouch. Open and airy, it's a very comfortable place to dine. I got the fried chicken sandwich and the lavender lemonade. Others in the party got the grain salad bowl, and corned beef Reuben. The lavender lemonade is a beauty! Blue butterfly pea infused syrup does magic when mixed with the lemonade and turn into a gorgeous purple. However, I don't recall tasting any lavender. The food was really delicious. The fried chicken sandwich is quite dramatic and easily reach 6-inches tall. I decided that deconstruction was necessary to attack it. The pickled carrots and diakon was a nod to a bahn mi and paired well with the sweet soy chicken fried hard. I like the hard, but it would've been challenging to eat it with the bun. The Togarashi chips were extra crispy and generous. The grain salad bowl was hardy and it seem like it was a salad that went on and on, in a good way. The corned beef Reuben was good. The Togarashi chips that came with it stole the show. The staff was very helpful with the menu and in bringing us our food. We really enjoyed Acorn Cafe and would love to come back.

Came to Acorn Cafe and really enjoyed it! Also loved that they use the inkind cash pay system which was a nice little perk for Valentine's weekend. Boyfriend and I shared the shakshuka and the lemon ricotta pancakes - a little savory, a little sweet. The shakshuka was spot on! It was well spiced and the combination of fire roasted tomatoes, peppers, and onions was delightful! The pop of freshness from parsley and scallions was also really nice. I also enjoyed the creamy notes from the goat cheese and the special guest, pistachios. The poached eggs were cooked separate and featured the perfect runny yolk. We could have used more bread though. We had to order hash browns later on to finish the dish. As for the pancake, it was so fluffy. The lemon was evident and the fresh scoop of lavender really hammered home that farm to table freshness for me. I also really enjoyed the honey granola clusters which added a fun texture to the dish! We each got a specialty latte and both were made well. They got a nice firm foam even for oat milk so kudos to the barista! Definitely would return when in Healdsburg

Busy and bustling on a Saturday morning, but this place is a streamlined operation and runs quick and smooth. A line at the door and almost every table taken. Don't let that deter you and read the sentence above. One more time. *wink!* Ordered some mimosas, coffee, shakshuka and a grain bowl. HOLY HELL THIS GRAIN BOWL. 10/10. By the time we ordered, there were three open tables and my husband could stop whining about "no place to sit." Three tables fool - pick one! Aside from being busy, the food here is absolutely delicious. The grain salad bowl is my new favorite. I feel nourished but not overstuffed. Strong coffee. My husband claims the people-sighting is top-notch here (it is). Acorn is great. The lemon ricotta pancake looks amazing (!!!). We'll definitely be back.

One of the best places we ate on the way up to North to Eureka. Wish we would've stayed in Healdsburg lol. The granola was perfection. You can tell it freshly made, wasn't stale at all. The pastries were delicious. I can't remember what we got, but there was something with chocolate or chocolate chips I believe. I wish we would've eaten something like lunch. It was bustling right before lunchtime so expect to wait. I hope to go up there again and pop in.

Strongly Recommended This is the best brunch spot in the Hedelsburg area. My wife and I visited three times during our week-long trip, and every single item on the menu was delicious.

Amazing first visit. Do not skip out on a snack, breakfast, lunch or coffee here. The chips are fresh made, sando was chefs kiss and the special flavors on point authentic.

First visit here and I'd definitely come back to try other things on the menu! Simple eggs and toast or a fancy lemon ricotta pancake. Yummy. I highly recommend the pancake if you like lemon curd, perfected with a dollop of ice cream. There was also a selection of fancy toast which I will have to try the next time! It's busy and it's an order then find seating - inside or out. Lovely atmosphere for hanging out with friends or couples lunch date.

Everyone that worked there seemed happy. That really makes a difference with the vibe of a business. We ordered avocado toast, which my spouse enjoyed and I ordered the huevos rancheros. Every bite packed a variety of flavors that melded well together. There was a little red pepper on there that was slightly spicy and a little sweet. I forgot to ask which pepper it was because I need more in my life. The place seemed clean and healthy. I would definitely go again.

Really good place for a delicious fast breakfast. When we walked by, they looked like they were packed, and there was a long line waiting to order, but they do everything quickly. You order at the counter, and then your food is brought out to you. Our coffees came out first, and pretty much a few minutes after we sat down. My friend ordered the seasonal muffin, and so we ate a few bites of that before our food came. I got the breakfast burger, which was delicious, though having the sunny-side egg on top made it a little messy. They did ask me how I wanted the burger cooked, and I said medium-rare, and it was probably closer to medium-well. Fast, friendly, and efficient. This place is busy for a reason. It's a good place for a quick brunch!

On the rainy day that my wife and I visited Pepper's, it looked like there was only one other person seated at the bar dining at the restaurant. When we walked in, we were quickly greeted and offered a booth close to the front of the restaurant. Not long after being seated, our waitress stopped by to take our drink order, and our coffees took no more than a minute to be brought over. Throughout our meal, our waitress checked on us multiple times to make sure our coffee was never empty. I ordered the oatmeal off the sides menu, and my wife got the chicken fried steak. If you're a fan of chicken fried steak, you will absolutely love the one here. The steak is fried as crispy as a chicken tender, the sausage gravy smothered on top is rich and hearty, and the toasted buttered biscuit served on the side is perfect for sopping up any gravy left on your plate. The over easy eggs we ordered could not have been cooked better. Additionally, the included hash browns were cooked perfectly: the entire surface of the hash browns was cooked to a crispy gold brown with not a single burnt, or uneven bit. I can't recommend Pepper's enough if you happen to be in this part of Healdsburg.

The lasagna is hands-down my favorite item on the menu, followed closely by the menudo, and the pecan pie is absolutely phenomenal. I used to love the chicken and waffles, though it seems the recipe has changed--while it's still good, it's not quite as magical as it once was. A couple of years ago, I had a seasonal tomato salad that I still dream about to this day. The menu rotates, so I've never seen it return, but it clearly left an impression. If you're stopping in before 3 p.m. to visit the café, the golden milk is excellent, and nearly every puff pastry in the glass case is worth trying. As much as I adore this place, I do wish the prices were more affordable--especially since the food isn't explicitly organic, which makes the cost feel a bit harder to justify. I also wish the upstairs area weren't limited to VIP pricing, as it would be wonderful for all guests to enjoy the full space. Lastly, every time I've sat at the bar to eat, my service has been less deliberate and much slower. I recommend sitting at a proper table to get the full dining experience as the service has typically been really great when I was seated at a table. Inside, the décor strikes that rare balance of "tastefully inviting" without veering into "stock photo of a restaurant." Now, let's talk about the fries. These are not just fries. These are fries -- crispy to the point where you briefly wonder if they've achieved a new state of matter somewhere between solid and shatter. The chicken Banh Mi was excellent in every conceivable way, save for one audacious choice: the toasted roll. I'm used a softer roll is all. The spicy chicken sandwich and the burger, however, were flawless -- tender and flavorful. Service was genuinely great, and we left already plotting our return. When I showed my boyfriend our options, this one stood out because of the fried chicken sandwich on the menu. It did not disappoint us! It was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside with a house ranch dressing. We also ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts that had a delicious maple taste with bacon. The Brussel sprouts were crispy and soft which was the best of both worlds. I ordered the risotto verde and loved the flavors of it along with the veggies they chose to put in. I was impressed that the lemon flavor was potent throughout the dish even when I got to the bottom, the lemon flavor was consistent and refreshing, it didn't just feel squeezed on top. Before they brought us a menu for dessert, my boyfriend said if they have a cheesecake, we are getting it! They did indeed have a citrus cheesecake and we got it along with the 2 cookies. We loved the citrus cheesecake that looked like it had lemon shavings in it too. The ambiance was cute and had a homey feel to it with the fruit wall art, and the pattern chair cushions. Overall a stand out spot both in ambiance and food.
