Woah.. talk about a good sandwich! Holy smokes, it felt like I was back in Paris. I got the jambon with Brie on the baguette, DELICIOUS. The bread obviously was high quality but the ham, Brie and honey just made this the perfect sandwich. Highly recommend! Food: 4.6 Service: 4 Ambiance: 3.9 Marcels foodie score: 4.2

Visited healdsburg on a short trip with my mom and sister and knew I had to take them here to try the sandwiches. The turkey pesto and chicken salad sandwich were as delicious as I remember from the last time I came a few months ago. I got to try their daily special (spicy salami) this time as well since we were all sharing. My favorite was still the turkey pesto. The pesto really makes this sandwich IMO. It tastes so fresh and bright, it makes me want to do a happy dance. During the day this place is perfect to grab a quick lunch and a glass of wine. I will be coming again next time I am in the area!

In town and stopped here with friends for some wine before lunch. If we didn't already have lunch reservations, I would have loved to eat here. You walk in and you can see the fresh bread they bake there. They have a good assortment of ready made sandwiches and others. In the evening they turn into an upscale bistro. They have a menu with items like caviar and steak tartare. The employee that we ordered from was friendly and answered my questions about the wines they had. It's a nice place with lots of natural light which is very refreshing. It was nice to relax and enjoy a good bottle of wine with friends.

California taste of French cuisine Small intimate setting, obv love for Andre the Giant, who can blame them. Excellent sound track, what IS that? How can they listen to this at home? The servers danced about and assured our dinner was paced correctly and plates laid in front of us in unison. Their plate game is strong, pairing each food with an accompaniment of glass, crystal or porcelain 7 courses Plus caviar Very rich Overall the brioche was my favorite! The croque monsiour hit high marks And the sheer creativity of each dish

I stopped by for sandwich to go after running errands and this place is so cute, the Barista/Cashier was so pleasant and friendly. I ordered a turket pesto and chocken salad and they were both amazing. The bread was nice and moist and the meat has a lot of flavor.

Not the bakery we expected. They only had a couple baked goods. Cookies and a single croissant. We were looking for more baked goods. They also sold some delicious looking bread. They have a glass display case for their many sandwiches. We just ate so we weren't in the mood for a sandwich, but they sure looked good. I kind of wished I had gotten one for later. My husband got a cappuccino and we sat for a spell till the rain passed by. When we arrived around noon there was plenty of seating. By the time we left it was standing room only. Everyone was getting a sandwich and or drinks. I noticed that they even had a vegetarian sandwich, carrot. I heard people talking about it and it was getting good reviews.

Has it been a year since our last Troubadour sando?! Crazy! Stopped in recently to see what market veggie sandwich they were offering. It was the carrot again: roasted carrots, pesto, burrata, pickled shallots, arugula, all on fresh and delicious Quail and Condor bread! A carrot sandwich, you ask? Give it a try and you'll understand the hype. The price is now $17; I got two meals out of this dense and delicious delight.

Fantastic sandwiches that are flavorful and made with quality ingredients. Troubadour was recommended to me by a friend, and it was a wonderful place to grab a quick late lunch after wine tasting. The sandwiches are a little pricey, but they are well worth the price tag for the amount of fillings and delicious bread making these delicious handhelds!

    Sparkling Wine. Bread. Yum.

Take a number first if they are busy and order when called. They are pretty quick as our sandwiches were ready in about 5 minutes. I had a giorgi park (vegetarian) sandwich which came as a panini with great flavors and fresh ingredients. SCW had the veggie sandwich which was also really tasty. They have a burrito and pizza line as well. I got a vegetarian super burrito bowl which you can customize. Similar process as chipotle style. Everything looked fresh vibrant. The standouts: * The Deli/Prepared Goods: This is the heart of the operation. The sandwiches are legendary, the pizza is artisanal-grade, and the prepared salads are actually fresh and inventive--not just an afterthought. * The Cheese Section: Simply sublime. It is clear whoever curates this section has a deep passion for local creameries and international classics alike. * The Experience: Despite the high-end inventory, the staff is incredibly friendly and grounded. We knew immediately this was going to be a special night. We went all in with the chef's prix fixe menu, and it delivered from the very first bite. Warm, homemade dinner rolls -- fragrant with thyme, garlic, and chili flakes, served alongside pillowy whipped butter -- set the tone perfectly. We loved them so much we asked for a second basket without a moment's hesitation. The Sonoma County Organic Salad that followed was nothing short of a revelation: crisp Little Gem lettuce, Pioneer Micro Herbs and edible flowers, beautifully shaved vegetables, whipped fromage blanc, and a Green Goddess dressing that tied it all together with effortless elegance. Perfection is the only word for it. For our entrées, the Petrale Sole Meunière was a masterclass in refined, soulful cooking -- the Costeaux sourdough croutons, potato fondant, haricot verts, and caper beurre noisette working in perfect harmony. And the pork porchetta with nduja? Cooked flawlessly, bold, deeply satisfying, and utterly memorable. We paired the meal with the Valette Rosé of Pinot Noir, which has instantly earned a place among the finest rosés we've ever tasted -- vibrant, nuanced, and a dream with every course. Dessert brought the ItsNotA 'Snickers Bar' and the Almond Frangipane, both executed brilliantly and the ideal sweet finale to an extraordinary meal. Valette isn't just a great restaurant -- it's our new favorite dining destination, full stop. We'll be back, again and again.
