One of the best sandwiches I've had in a loooong time. Cute little cafe with limited indoor seating. The owners also started Quail and Condor so you can have some of their baked goods at this establishment as well. We had the turkey pesto sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich, which were both amazing! You could taste the fresh ingredients for both sandwiches. The chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned with the sesame salt really adding that extra oomph. The lemon jus in the turkey pesto made it super addicting with its bright flavor. If they only sold their pesto and chicken salad on its own I would buy tubfuls to bring home and savor. Alas, maybe in the future. We came here at 11a on Monday and got our sandwiches quickly after we ordered. A little pricey for sandwiches ($20 each) but it's downtown Healdsburg so not unexpected. I know I'll be thinking of their sandwiches for quite some time so will definitely come back next time we are in Healdsburg!

In town and stopped here with friends for some wine before lunch. If we didn't already have lunch reservations, I would have loved to eat here. You walk in and you can see the fresh bread they bake there. They have a good assortment of ready made sandwiches and others. In the evening they turn into an upscale bistro. They have a menu with items like caviar and steak tartare. The employee that we ordered from was friendly and answered my questions about the wines they had. It's a nice place with lots of natural light which is very refreshing. It was nice to relax and enjoy a good bottle of wine with friends.

California taste of French cuisine Small intimate setting, obv love for Andre the Giant, who can blame them. Excellent sound track, what IS that? How can they listen to this at home? The servers danced about and assured our dinner was paced correctly and plates laid in front of us in unison. Their plate game is strong, pairing each food with an accompaniment of glass, crystal or porcelain 7 courses Plus caviar Very rich Overall the brioche was my favorite! The croque monsiour hit high marks And the sheer creativity of each dish

I stopped by for sandwich to go after running errands and this place is so cute, the Barista/Cashier was so pleasant and friendly. I ordered a turket pesto and chocken salad and they were both amazing. The bread was nice and moist and the meat has a lot of flavor.

Not the bakery we expected. They only had a couple baked goods. Cookies and a single croissant. We were looking for more baked goods. They also sold some delicious looking bread. They have a glass display case for their many sandwiches. We just ate so we weren't in the mood for a sandwich, but they sure looked good. I kind of wished I had gotten one for later. My husband got a cappuccino and we sat for a spell till the rain passed by. When we arrived around noon there was plenty of seating. By the time we left it was standing room only. Everyone was getting a sandwich and or drinks. I noticed that they even had a vegetarian sandwich, carrot. I heard people talking about it and it was getting good reviews.

Has it been a year since our last Troubadour sando?! Crazy! Stopped in recently to see what market veggie sandwich they were offering. It was the carrot again: roasted carrots, pesto, burrata, pickled shallots, arugula, all on fresh and delicious Quail and Condor bread! A carrot sandwich, you ask? Give it a try and you'll understand the hype. The price is now $17; I got two meals out of this dense and delicious delight.

Fantastic sandwiches that are flavorful and made with quality ingredients. Troubadour was recommended to me by a friend, and it was a wonderful place to grab a quick late lunch after wine tasting. The sandwiches are a little pricey, but they are well worth the price tag for the amount of fillings and delicious bread making these delicious handhelds!

This was legitimately one of the top three meals I've ever had in my life. We went for dinner on a Sunday around 7:45pm and there were only three other parties there. It's a tiny place - a sandwich shop by day and a Michelin recommended dinner spot at night. They have a prix fixe tasting menu (or a la carte option) but I highly recommend the prix fixe. They started with a lovely broth and then went into several canapés. I can't stop thinking about the rye and lardo one! We added the caviar and it was delightful in a cauliflower foamy soup. The escargot was fantastic (not in the shell) and the tartare was amazing. Honestly the brioche baguette that came with the escargot was one of the best things - it's salty and buttery and perfect for dipping into the sauces. We got both the trout and the duck. Holy moly the duck was out of this world. It's a special duck (orvia) and the skin was perfectly crispy and had a nice bite of fat but not too much. It came with a brown sauce that you could dip the homemade sourdough in. The stuffed morel was incredible. Everything came in cute little dishes and was beautifully plated. The Riesling was a nice accompaniment. They also give a variety of sweets to end the meal. Every bite of this meal blew me away. Service was professional but not overly chatty or friendly. It's a really quiet spot that's perfect for a nice date night.

Yes the sandwich is expensive, but it's the best flipping sandwich you've ever had. I was skeptical, but the quality is superb.

I wanted to go out for a Happy Hour and looked into my list of places I want to try on here (based on recommendations for local friends). this looked perfect and i've never really experienced Healdsburg... The bar was packed and they do allow standing room but that's not what i wanted. Standing is fine and dandy if I was in a group but i was alone.... She offered either a table or at the counter overlooking the kitchen..I opted for counter. I had a perfect view of all the food being prepped. I was tempted to do the "founders" menu which is 3 courses for $50 ...option to add wine pairing for $30. BUT...i wasn't that hungry. I opted for the HH menu...i picked the Pepperoni flatbread + Baby lettuce & grapefruit salad. Happy Hour Rose wine... That salad was so damn good! the "croutons' were a goat cheese meringue. wow! dressing was perfectly done. the pizza was also amazing!! i had half of each to take back to hotel. they do have a wall of wine (by the ounce pours)...as impressive as it was ...i wasn't interested in walking over there to pour and sample. super fun atmosphere... phenomenal service spectacular food. 100% want to come back again!

Here are some highlights: -We had to ask for water and took 3 people to ask us what type before it was brought over -The server did not know the menu well and forgot our a drink order and had to come back to ask for us to point to it -Eggs Benedict was way over cooked. My egg was fully cooked and did not have any runny-ness to it at all -The waffles were soft like they have been sitting for a while with no crisp Overall for what we paid it was not worth it and sadly not coming back again

We made a reservation a few weeks in advance via our resort concierge and we arrived early to walk around Healdsburg. There is plenty of free street and parking lot parking in the area. We went in the restaurant about 10 minutes early and we received a really warm greeting from the restaurant hostess and they showed us to our table. From the restaurant bus staff to the servers, they were all so warm and welcoming. They came by first and brought us water and a drink list. We ordered a bottle of wine to start, they had a range of wine selections available. They also allow you to bring a bottle of wine, but there is a pretty hefty corkage fee, so for us it made more sense just to order a bottle of wine at the restaurant. The server also came by and brought us fresh bread and olive oil. We ordered the Caesar Salad to start ($16) and the salad was really good and fresh. For entrees, we ordered two pastas to share (one of the pastas on the specials menu for around $30) all including local fresh ingredients, and the Tagliatelle alla Carbonara ($23). They also came by and gave us more bread upon request, and everything was so tasty, we really enjoyed all of the food and very warm and welcoming service!

Also, seems like the staff is always trying to upsell on dish upgrades. Burrata: Such a great appetizer. Tons of creamy burrata on top of a toasty baguette slice with lots of onions in between. All the right textures and flavors. Carpaccio: Kinda like beef sashimi. Super thin slices of high quality beef flavored with lemon, capers and nice slices of parmesan. Not as filling as the burrata, but still great. Vitello Parmigiana: Like chicken parm, but much fancier. Apparently the veal is from Pennsylvania. It was super tender, maybe even more so than chicken. Thin and pounded with a nice breading, loved all the cheese. Spaghetti Bolognese: Got the upgrade on the Vitello Parmigiana, where this pasta replaced a plainer pasta. Love that the spaghetti was fresh and tender. The bolognese was meaty. It was *almost* too much food, but I was hungry. Limoncello Mascarpone Cake: I asked if they had limoncello as an after dinner drink, but they did not. However, they had this cake. It was creamy and had that nice tart and alcoholic limoncello tang. Chocolate Temptation: Several layers of different chocolate things. Love the contrast of light milky chocolate and intense dark chocolate.
