    Dry creek stacker
    Nat P.

One of my favorite sandwich spots! I love coming here on the way to nearby vineyards. It is such a unique yet nostalgic place with a great variety of food, snacks, and souvenirs. There's always a line, no matter what day it is! The sandwiches here are real star! I'd honestly drive hours away just to get one. And I have done this multiple times! It probably sounds crazy, but once you've had it, you'll understand. My favorite s sandwich here is called the dry Creek stacker with everything on it, and I always ask for a pinch of salt and pepper for the extra touch of flavor. Trust me, one bite and you will love this sandwich! I love how packed it is with everything I love. I would also recommend getting the classic chicken or tuna salad to go. Or better yet get their old-fashioned potato salad. All of them are honestly the perfect side to top off with your sandwich. Honestly, this place never disappoints. Even if you're just passing through, it is worth the stop and the wait since it can get busy.

Fun place out of town. Great little bar. Great selection of sandwiches and just enough items for sale that don't overwhelm the senses.

Group of us stopped in for sandwiches to be made as take out. Gotta balance it with wine tasting. Tuna salad sandwich, veggie with hummus sandwich, chicken salad sandwich and one other... cannot recall... except for the fact they were all delicious. Chai lattes were good too! Sat outside to relax. Lots of things to consider buying in the store! Great place to stop!

i've been stopping here for a great many years and it's definitely worth stopping in to grab one of many delicious sandwiches and they have premade sandwiches ready to go. several refrigerators full of all sorts of drinks you may want as well as all kinds of chips and snacks to go with your sandwich. They have lots of fresh baked goods I usually buy at least one of the cookies and they're kind of huge that's OK. We can take a few days to finish it no problem. The service here is very quick. They are used to large crowds on the daily so the line moves quickly. and they have seating inside and in front if you feel like sitting down and enjoying your amazing sandwich. me and my besties usually stop here when we're out and about doing tastings in the area, so let's have a nice little Sammy in between or on your way home either way you won't be disappointed. It's practically tradition for us now to go there at least once when we're in the area. So if you're in the Neighbourhood and feeling a little bit hungry this spot has lots of good things to eat right here waiting for you. cheers, my friends SYOY 11/25/25

Stopped in on Saturday when it was cool and damp out to satisfy our cozy fall sandwich cravings. Thankfully I beat the line! Turkey pesto panini and Turkey cranberry panini for the win! Thanksgiving flavors a few days early! Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, balanced proportions, cheesy goodness! I'm craving another sandwich and hope to get another next week! Highly recommend a visit for their sandwiches, and while you're there be sure to check out their picnic provisions and beautiful holiday decor!

I always used to pass by this establishment as a kid when my family would take us on long drives through wine country when we'd visit our grandparents all the way from Guam. This past season was finally the time I was able to stop in to try it. Looking at the Dry Creek General Store, it looks like an unassuming, country-style rest stop for day drinkers. After pushing through their screen door, you enter into the general store where you will see shelves of jars of pickles, jams, cookies, and mustards, fridges filled with refreshing beverages, and coolers of ready-made salads and sandwiches. The first time I came in, it was an experience for myself and a group of my friends visiting from the South Bay. After enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime tour of Hawley Vineyards, we stopped here for a quick break and bite-to-eat as we all have different dietary needs and wants so figured this was the place to solve that issue. We came on a Saturday, and while packed, the service was quick and easy. While we were a group of 7, it was easy for us to find seating inside as it was hot outside. From what I recall, everyone was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with what they ordered. It was so good that I decided to take my boyfriend in for a lunch a month later. When my boyfriend and I ended up going, it was later in the day and the place was empty. Ordering was even easier than before and we sat outside on one of the many picnic tables they have while being able to look at the vineyards and watching the workers do their pruning. We ended up ordering a pulled pork pastor. We both really enjoyed the sandwich with a jar of hot peppers I ended up buying when I was browsing. Overall, really great place for anyone visiting the area. Extremely kid-friendly, handicap accessible, and great for groups!

First time at Dry Creek General Store. Got a cheese sandwich with avocado and a coke here on my way to Lake Sonoma. Wide variety of food and drink, plus a nice selection of wine and gifts. Quick, easy efficient customer service and the exterior has an old fashioned look. Will definitely be returning here.

First time at the Dry Creek General store. Specifically came for the sandwiches. Pretty busy for the Labor Day holiday but even with the long line...it went pretty fast. The deli case a variety of salads but once they're out, they're out! Ordered the muffuletta sandwich and Italian sub. The muffuletta was amazing! The dutch crunch was soft,l and the sandwich was pretty stacked. My Italian was okay. The bread was kind of hard and the fillings were kind of lacking. It didn't taste bad but nothing over the top. Sat inside cause it was pretty warm but definitely outside if you can for the views!

This place is a solid 2.5. No more, no less. Some of the sandwiches are fairly tasty, and there's always a convenient array of snacks, quality cheeses, crackers, wine, and more. But for what you pay, the ingredients could be better. Also sometimes the sandwiches come burnt. There's a whole deli section where you can buy salads of all types like kale salad, Caesar salad, potato salad, beet salad, etc as well as sautéed veggie mixes, dips, olives, and more. I'd say the food is average 3/5 and service isn't particularly friendly. But it's a convenient place in between wineries and an easy stop to get picnic foods.

We usually come here for grab and go lunch while wine tasting. There are SO many excellent food choices here. It's truly a wonderful place. If you want something very special, it's here. If you want a regular old deli sandwich, it's here, too. And all of it is in a very old, rustic building, staffed with knowledgeable workers who can assist with anything you need. What a treasure.

Old world charm. Great sandwiches which we took for a picnic at Armstrong Redwoods. Kids could sit on real saddles. Lots of interesting gift items for sale. Nice Christmas decorations. Friendly counter people.

Breakfast sandwich slathered in so much mayo/sauce it was wet

I hate to do this.. But we had such a poor experience We stopped in on Sunday for breakfast on the way to the Lake. The service was slow, almost forgot to ring us up did it right at the end and boy we wish we wouldn't have paid because this was possibly the worst food I have ever seen be served. It was a wet soupy mess of a burrito with a soggy tortilla that fell apart it tasted like wet scrambled eggs no chorizo flavor involved, and a saucy slathered mayo mess of a breakfast sandwich. This run is over $40 and ended up in the trash. We opened it on the road and couldn't even take a bite it was a huge mess, I tried the sauce which seemed to just be mayo on the sandwich. I would have turned around and asked for my money back if our family hadn't been waiting for us to launch the boat. So disappointing!

We happened to be driving by on the way to the Skunk Train and stopped by for lunch. There is a variety of sandwiches you can eat on site as well as a grab and go from their refrigerated section. We went for the seasonal turkey and brie served with fresh chips, both surprisingly delicious for a sandwich that I was tempted to get another to go. I had my eye on the Lemon Ricotta Hotcake topped with ice cream, yes, ice cream. Instead of butter, you get to enjoy it with ice cream slowly melting over your hotcake, making each bite heavenly. I did move the scoop to the side so it wouldn't melt as fast and I can taste the velvety ice cream on its own. Since it was the holidays, I could not resist getting a caramel apple cider which was warming without being overly sweet. With outdoor seating outside, would love to come back during the summer for leisurely brunch.

The shakshuka is really pretty with it coming out in a small skillet. Kinda wanted a bigger slice of sourdough but no big deal. More of a lighter option but I also wish I ordered the Benedict instead for a heartier choice. The lemon ricotta hotcake is easily the highlight! The lavender ice scream isn't overly sweet and the floral flavor profile comes out well, the oat crumble adds amazing crunch to the thick and fluffy hotcake. Get this for yourself or to share. If I come back, this will always be a must now. Outdoor seating beats the indoor for sure but it was a bit hot out so I stayed in. I'd even come back to eat the brunch items for a dinner.

Cookie was as big as my hand! Crispy edge, soft inside. 10/10 for that cookie. The chicken salad was really good. Large chunks of chicken, mayo, some spices -not sure what. Consistency was perfect. Loved the pumpkin seeds for a little crunch. Definitely the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. And nice on the bread. Lettuce could have been there or not, didn't add anything for me. Simple, effective. The turkey pesto was kind of basic, but the addition of the dill and the very fresh bread did do something for me. I think I'll be adding dill to my pesto sandos now? Anyway, solid sandwiches. Wouldn't say it blew me away and they are a bit small for a $20 sandwich, but here we are. Would come back for the baked goods and fresh breads.

There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top.
