This is a cute little Cajun place with indoor and outdoor seating. It gets crowded for dinner so good idea to make reservations . The food was excellent. The poorboy was so filling I could only eat half. The potatoes were seasoned with a Cajun seasoning and very good. My son had a Crawfish Benedict and he said it was very good. The Bloody Mary was spicy and delicious. The had Beignets that I really wanted to try but the servings were so big. I was too full. I definitely wanna go back and try some of the other things on the menu which I've never had.

Full disclosure -- we went for brunch, and I didn't order anything particularly Cajun or Creole, so honestly, what I had could have been ordered at other places. So I'm neither raving nor am I critiquing! I enjoyed my poached eggs and, in particular, my grits -- but they're pretty standard fare. I did, however, love the andouille sausage. Someone else got an omelet -- again, fine -- another had the hash and enjoyed it. We all had coffee (without chicory) and it was good. Given the other really positive reviews, I think I'd like to return for lunch or dinner and really dive into the more New Orleans-type flavors which I tend to associate with those meals more than breakfast.

Cute little place. There's a bar, and outdoor seating. We had a roast beef sandwich. We split it. It was delicious. The roll wasn't hard or dry! Everything was FRESH and DELICIOUS! It had a yummy slaw in it. We saw some delicious pastries being served! They have a big wine list (duh) It's casual and comfortable.

We stopped by The Parish Cafe to enjoy our favorite--Red Beans & Rice with smoked bacon end, andouille sausage, and a side of Camellia brand red beans. The plate also came with a delicious andouille link. The Perfect comfort food. The cafe is super cute and bustling with activity. The service was wonderful and quick, making our experience even better. We loved the Christmas decor--so festive and charming.

Cute spot for brunch, definitely has that New Orleans flavor! Easy to make reservations and has its own little parking lot. We got there a little early and was seated quickly. Friendly service, definitely seemed busy! We got a bunch of things to share between the 2 of us and everything was great! I lean more towards savory brunch, so the shrimp and grits / jambalaya were perfectly spiced for me. The bananas Foster were a little sweet for me personally but my bf loved them! The beignets were also super light and pillow-y. Worth a visit if you're into New Orleans food!

Finally made it to this spot because I heard they had beignets. We came at 3pm Friday and no one was there. We were greeted by hostess/server (Cynthia) and sat right away. The place gave that eating at home vibe for sure. Hubby decided to order everything from the happy hour special to try everything and did not disappoint. Only thing we didn't get was the gumbo. We also ordered crawfish Étouffée and shrimp & grits which were both recommended by the server. We've never had either before. Shrimp & grits were real good and so was the beignet of course. Hubby enjoyed the fried pickles, gator tots, fries, and the Étouffée. I really liked the jambalaya also. We left there happy and very full.

Stopped in for a quick happy hour. Such a cute place. Best service - so friendly and fast. Had the gumbo - loved it! And creole fries were crisp and hot fresh from the fryer. Can't wait to go again.

This is in an old home, which is really pretty. They have indoor and outside eating areas. The waitress and cook were very friendly. I ordered the rainbow trout and it was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and very tasty. I would definitely suggest this place if you l I ke creole food.

This place is so authentic you will be transported to New Orleans We started with beignets because they were coming out hot! So delicious! The crab cakes were very tasty and the gumbo had just the right amount of heat! Great spot for breakfast or lunch Service is very friendly and not rushing you out the door!

We stopped by for Sunday brunch with the family. We made a reservation since we had a large group. They sat us out by the back porch which was heated so even if it was raining, we were comfortable . We ordered a variety of things from gumbo to fried gator and beignets and bananas foster pan de pardue to share. For my personal order, I had the oyster po boy (regular - there is a king size that would be too big). The portions of the sandwiches are huge! I could not finish it. Bread was nice, soft and fluffy inside and crunchy on the outside. Oysters were not overly breaded and fried crispy. Overall, food is good - friendly staff who checked in occasionally and nice place to dine if you are in the area.

Came to Parish Café for brunch and was genuinely impressed. The food is amazing! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and friendly, and we were seated quickly. A great start made even better when they surprised us with beignets on the house, they were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious! I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was so good! I've seen some reviews mention the dish being a bit runny due to the tomato sauce, but I actually thought the sauce added a really nice flavor. I didn't mix everything together, and it wasn't runny at all, it was just rich and satisfying. My friend had the Houma Hash and said the grits were amazing too! The rest of my group loved their meals too with lots of praise all around. Definitely a spot I'd return to if I'm in the area again. Highly recommend for a delicious, welcoming brunch experience.

Came in for breakfast with a group of six and I can honestly say Parish Cafe is worth the hype! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the coffee is great, and their beignets are to die for! For breakfast I had the Houma Hash. This was a very balanced pre-wine meal opt with a perfect amount of carbs and protein. The food was good but what really sold me here is the service. Our server Sophia was the highlight of our visit. Shes fun, friendly, attentive and juggled a busy morning/section with ease. Our group felt taken care of and we all enjoyed our meals and beignets. Overall I give Parish Cafe a 10/10. This is a perfect spot for breakfast or brunch in Healdsburg we'll definitely be back, I need to try the brunch and dinner menu next!

Excellent food and service. Everything was Very flavorful. The jambalaya was everyone's favorite dish. We also ordered the red beans and rice, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, and beignets. The portions were a good size, just enough. We shared and tasted everything. Very cute place, small and cozy. You have an option to be seated inside or outside. Definitely worth a try.

    It's open from Wed-Sat, 11-2

Do they have choices on the menu for vegan?

I did not see any vegan options on their menu when I was there. I'd suggest calling them to inquire. They close at 3pm Monday through Friday & 2pm on Sunday.

    Is there a kids menu?

No, they don't have a kids menu. We usually end up sharing one adult order between 2 kids or get grits or other sides.

I enjoy more of an "asian" taste when it comes to seafood boil flavors, so the fact that this place has hotpot only made my expectations higher. Prices are fair, and there were empty spots with no line by the time I left (6PM). I ordered 1lb of head on shrimp, clam, and mussel with the combo of potatoes, corn and sausage, with a side of garlic noodles. The highlight is the Simmer Sauce, which is a sweet, spicy, and a little savory/garlicky. The medium packed a kick, so I would definitely get mild for the low spice tolerance people. Shrimp was huge and tasted pretty fresh. Clams varied in size with some clam meat being smaller than others. Mussels were solid, but I noticed we had a couple of closed shells. The garlic noodles paired perfectly with everything, acting both as carbs and great for dipping in the sauce. Although this place beats most if not all seafood boils in the bay area, I had to wait about 30min for my garlic noodles. My server claimed they were making a new batch, but it was a little disappointing having mostly finished everything before they were served. I also had to flag my server down instead of them coming over for updates on my order and getting my bill. The seafood boil came within 10min otherwise though.

The bar area that one enters first had no patrons despite a table of dirty dishes remaining. When we announced we'd like to stay for lunch we were asked to wait while a table in the dining room was cleared. That's exactly what was cleared: one table in the dining room. There were two other tables of customers in the dining room and now a single clean table. Every other customer-free table in that room was stacked with dirty dishes left by previous customers. This wasn't just unappetizing. It was disgusting and we opted not to stay for lunch. I'm hoping this was some sort of aberrant situation as opposed to standard operating procedure. He felt the large bread amount and it's dry texture overpowered the other sandwich ingredients. A large amount of water pooled on the floor in the back of the restaurant while we were dining necessitating what sounded like a shop vac to pick up the water. Too noisy but Accidents happen. There was an Open During Construction sign outside. Rebecca our server was pleasant and attentive. She is a keeper. The bus person cleaning the behind us toward the front door table was chewing on something. She paused her duties for a moment, staring off into space in my direction. Eating while on duty and not on break in front of customers is unprofessional. I tried to make eye contact with her out of curiosity if the chewing would stop when our eyes met. Alas my experiment failed. Something above my head and to the rear of the establishment was more interesting. Maybe some of that water pooling action was still happening. The Men's restroom stall is heavily grafittied. I wish I could think of advice for restaurant owners who suffer this scourge. Perhaps paint the stall inside a solid color and have a can of spray paint on hand? When you pay using the notepad computer the waitress carries, you need to sign on the screen before you hand over your credit card. That is odd. Having visited New Orleans earlier this year, I was so excited to try this place! As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was transported back to NOLA! There were beads hanging and Mardi Gras decorations throughout the restaurant. Since it was a weekday, there was no wait and we had our choice of sitting inside or out. We opted for inside. Our server was warm and friendly, bringing us water promptly. We started off with an order of beignets. It arrived with three big pieces. They were freshly fried and doused in powdered sugar. So good! My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles, while I decided to try the everything gumbo. The chicken and waffles was huge! It came with several pieces of fried chicken that was topped with freshly minced garlic and came with a homemade spicy sauce. My daughter loved it! I tried a bite and thought it was tasty as well. She ended up taking half of it home. The everything gumbo was also delicious! It was a little thin in my opinion, but the flavor was amazing! It was truly authentic and I could taste all the seafood that was in it. I finished my entire bowl! Unlike the chicken and waffle, it was appropriately sized. When I went to pay the bill, there was a sign that said "free beignets if you pay cash." So of course, I paid our bill in cash! Luckily, I had enough cash on me. Can't pass up a deal like that! All in all, it was a very enjoyable meal! If I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely go back to The Hummingbird!
