A fantastic concept with personal service from the chef, which made the experience feel special. Fun, well-executed menu, great outdoor seating, and very fair pricing. The lamb and shrimp were standout dishes, though everything we ordered was excellent. Also a really nice wine list. Will be back!

Oh wow... i love this spot! I was in town for a couple…read moredays...daughter visiting with friends in Sonoma...she left me within 20 min of checking into hotel. I wanted to go out for a Happy Hour and looked into my list of places I want to try on here (based on recommendations for local friends). this looked perfect and i've never really experienced Healdsburg... The bar was packed and they do allow standing room but that's not what i wanted. Standing is fine and dandy if I was in a group but i was alone.... She offered either a table or at the counter overlooking the kitchen..I opted for counter. I had a perfect view of all the food being prepped. I was tempted to do the "founders" menu which is 3 courses for $50 ...option to add wine pairing for $30. BUT...i wasn't that hungry. I opted for the HH menu...i picked the Pepperoni flatbread + Baby lettuce & grapefruit salad. Happy Hour Rose wine... That salad was so damn good! the "croutons' were a goat cheese meringue. wow! dressing was perfectly done. the pizza was also amazing!! i had half of each to take back to hotel. they do have a wall of wine (by the ounce pours)...as impressive as it was ...i wasn't interested in walking over there to pour and sample. super fun atmosphere... phenomenal service spectacular food. 100% want to come back again!

Here are some highlights: -We had to ask for water and took 3 people to ask us what type before it was brought over -The server did not know the menu well and forgot our a drink order and had to come back to ask for us to point to it -Eggs Benedict was way over cooked. My egg was fully cooked and did not have any runny-ness to it at all -The waffles were soft like they have been sitting for a while with no crisp Overall for what we paid it was not worth it and sadly not coming back again

Matt and Patrick were extremely friendly and the food was to die for! We celebrated our microwedding in Mill Valley and I have always selected new restaurants based on yelps top reviewed restaurants. I figured this would be the best way to go to select a catering option for an area we're not local to or able to try before in person. The reviews did not steer us wrong. We would love to book again after experiencing the food and stellar service. Appetizers: We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta which was one of my favorites! The tomatoes were fresh and every bite was memorable! The goat cheese croquettes were to die for and the braised pork shoulder had everyone coming back for more! Dinner: I'm not a huge kale person but we had an amazing kale Caesar salad that had me hoping I could recreate it at home. I honestly don't think there was any left over! It was accompanied by the grilled antipasto platter which complemented the lasagna dinner we had perfectly! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection! We had the classic bolognese lasagna and red wine braised boneless beef short ribs for our dinner option which were gone in the blink of an eye. Dessert: To top it off, we finished with the mini amaretto panna cotta and blackberry coulis. They were as delicious as they were aesthetically appealing!

My husband and I were set on having pupusas for our wedding, and it was a surprisingly difficult thing to accomplish. From all of our efforts and research, pupuserias don't really do wedding catering, and wedding caterers don't really do pupusas, but Chef Matt pulled it off for us on a whole nother level of excellence! When we originally reached out to him, he just said that they could do it, and we were ecstatic. At our first tasting, he had already gone to his local pupusa spot to analyze the timing, and watch the whole process. He hadn't done pupusas before, but had the drive, determination, and confidence to pull it off for us. When our wedding day came, we along with every one of our guests were absolutely blown away by the quality of every bit of food and drinks that they provided us all with. He was able to find the wife of a Salvadoran friend, and her mother, to help him make them all fresh on our wedding day, on a plancha that they were able to bring. The vibe was incredible, the food was impeccable, and even the Salvadorans attending were incredibly impressed. From the yucca fries to the plantain chips, from the guacamole to the curtido, from the coffee to the agua frescas, from the salsas to the amazing service, from the compostable serving ware to the incredible bartender. People still can't stop raving. The pupusas, the dips, the black chili salsa, the coffee, just everything. Kharma worked with us relentlessly over every tiny detail to get all of it right, and everything came together SO beautifully, and went SO smoothly without even the smallest hitch. Chef Matt and the Epicurean Escape Catering team literally made our dreams come true. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

This review is five stars…read more I would put it as 1,000 million gazillion stars if I could It's not about the food. I never ate there It's about the character. They preserved and returned a lost wallet and took no money out of it and kept it safely for days. That's character. That's what you do when no one's watching. I can only imagine their food is at least as good as their character. My wife took a phone call in front of their store after they were closed, and unbeknownst to her, her wallet fell out right there in front of the door. We had no idea. A few days later our dog has an emergency and she has to go to the vet to save its life, can't find her wallet. Tells me to look in her school bag she's a teacher. Not in there. For Christmas I bought everybody peace of mind by using my engineer minf to find the best deal on Android system compatible location devices. I bought a bunch of Pebble bee And one of those was in my wife's wallet. And it told us, once we realized her wallet was lost, using Google find me, it showed it sitting over where we went to the movies just days before. Yep, my wife was so clueless, she didn't realize her wallet was missing for days. That's what you get with pay with Google pay on phone these days. You never take your wallet out She went up there the next morning, after being up so so late with our almost dying dog, who thankfully pulled through after 3 days in the excellent emergency room at the vet by Costco in Santa Rosa And they gave it back. She bought a soda just to give them something. Even though they had just opened. And she wasn't hungry. They saved her ass.

Well today I was, so I had to check it out!!! I went around 11 so it wasn't super busy yet but they have a nice amount of indoor seating and outdoor tables too! I was greeted immediately by a very nice woman who took my order. I got the flamethrower sandwich exactly how it'd made. With chicken and on the Dutch crunch bread. Also got chips and a fountain drink. I think with everything it was about $18 with tip, which is a pretty good deal and compares to, or is cheaper than, other sandwich spots abound! I think i waited maybe 3 mins for my order it was quick! They also do DoorDash! My sandwich was absolutely amazing! No complaints! The bread was so good, nice big chunks of chicken and a good amount of lettuce and tomato. The sauce was good, not too spicy and it also had jalapeños!!! I do like spicy stuff but kind of a wimp if it's too spicy and the sandwich was just perfect! It had heat for sure, but wasn't too spicy. It's also a big sandwich, I couldn't even eat the whole thing! Overall I loved everything about this place and the food. I'll definitely be back. Such a hidden gem!! They have some cool, unique stuff on their menu as well so I can't wait to try it!!!!

The King Kamehameha was a little soggy in the middle, but the flavors still hit -- sweet caramelized pineapple, tangy pickled jalapeños, and all that smoky, salty meat made every bite worth it. The Bee Sting was the star: spicy, sweet, creamy, and savory all at once. The honey and serranos with ricotta and cured meats were insanely addictive. The Diavola Chop Salad tied everything together -- crisp, tangy, and bold enough to stand up to the rich pizzas. I wish I could tell you more about all we ordered but this is all I tried that night. Stopped in around 1pm on a Tuesday and was told there's a 35-40 minute wait despite seeing some empty tables along with some customers wrapping up their dining and walking out, but yet it looked like we were the only ones waiting for a table. Felt kind of weird but we decided to check out the surrounding businesses, which wasn't much to look at so we were back within 10 minutes, waiting awkwardly by the entrance. Staff was friendly with multiple people asking if we've been helped. I was just looking forward to having a cold beer and a nice salty pizza. We wanted to make the most of our time in the area so we just opted to get some food to go, which was only a 15 minute wait for this option. Spaghettini w/ Pork Cheek Ragu - DELICIOUS and RICH! Amatriciana - great combo of toppings and flavors Cheese pizza - my daughter is boring when it comes to food but she devoured a half pizza by herself. Didnt even get a chance to take any pics of the food because we were starving.
