Out of all the Starks family restaurants, this is my least favorite and it's a shame I have to say that, because all the other restaurants are so great and I love seafood. Welcomed and friendly hostess, wait staff was attentive, and wonderful outdoor patio that is covered with trees and cool during a warm day. Unfortunately the food was mediocre, lacked flavor, and just did not look appetizing when brought out. They did though have a lot of choices for *GF in which they make alternatives for.

This place was just alright. No wow factor. I came in a group of 12 so we tried most of what's on the menu but none of them stood out to any of us. Presentation of the food were nice, especially the fried oysters, but I could find many other places with both nice presentation and flavor that hooks me in. Oysters were good as always. The grilled Mahi Mahi tacos came out after everyone else was done with their meal and the fish was dry.

We made an early reservation for Valentine's Day. The restaurant has two bar areas, an indoor dining area and an outdoor patio which was super cute. We were seated in the upper level at a table with a Birdseye view. Started with an espresso martini ( so good he ordered another) and a dirty martini which was perfectly dirty. We had bbq'd oysters and buffalo fried oysters. The buffalo ones have a kick so be prepared. The bread with garlic herbed butter was also mouthwatering. Served hot and the perfect amount of crisp edges and soft insides. Then the star of the show was the dungeons crab salad on this buttery toasted roll. We had to contain ourselves not to get another. So we tried the crab cake instead. Also absolutely melt in your mouth goodness. Go, splurge.. it's so worth it.

What went well this day? Everything. Lucky me enjoyed a patio table and a lovely server. Friendly and professional. The patio was just right for enjoying one of our warm spring days. Checked out the menu and a new appetizer addition jumped out at me. Lobster. Take half of it, remove from shell. Cut it into bite sized chunks. Mix it up with tasty dressing and you have yourself something special! Finish that off with a slice of dulce de leche cake and know that life is good.

Willi's is one of our favorite restaurant in Healdsburg, service is very attentive and friendly. Food is delicious, we like ordering small plates to try and share. Recommend making reservations especially on the weekends. I prefer outdoor seating even when it's cold outside since they provide outdoor heaters.

Quick lunch break. We sat outside so we were kinda out of sight out of mind. The food though was good. It was a bit expensive so we ended up ordering small bites instead. I mean we are in Heladsburg so things are pricier. Bathroom situation is not ideal. You have to go in another building for it but it was manageable.

Mini day trip up Healdsburg and glad we decided to stop by for lunch! Everything we order was fresh and deliciously plated! Staff was attentive and their customer service was superb!! Portion and pricing was generous! Love the relaxing decor and ambiance of both the inside and outside of the restaurant! Definetly need to come back especially for those bacon wrapped scallop , crab cake and to try other items

Great experience at Willi's Seafood Restaurant. Attentive service, timely food, generous portions, and very reasonable prices for seafood. The cocktails were excellent. I enjoyed everything and will definitely be returning.

Had a delicious lunch with friends. Seemed like we ordered everything on the menu. Ceviche, crudo, crab cakes, shrimp tacos, fried calamari with chilies, little pork ribs, fabulous tomato with goat cheese and a little gem salad with pecans and blue cheese. Did I leave anything out? It was all delicious. Service was impeccable. Wish I lived closer so we could find more often. We ate everything on front of us. Yum.

Quiet restaurant right on the Healdsburg ave. Tapas were my choice of seafood. I ordered a crab cake and kale salad. Plenty for a diner of one. It was fresh, delicious and almost too much for just one. The crab cake was super delicious and with no filler! Just yummy. Highly recommend

Crispy Crab Tacos with Curry, Apple & Mint

This was my first time ever dining at this particular establishment and goodness was I ever impressed! Everything was fresh crisp, and had a delicious flavor! Their sauces and the freshness of the seafood was over the top! I'm surprised Hillsboro isn't right next to the ocean!! I loved sitting outside in their little courtyard, dining area, and they had a good size bar, as well as an indoor wraparound dining area with booths in the back Our server was incredibly helpful and kind, and the food came out rather quickly!! Each dish was one taste bite after the next, and we enjoyed the mahi-mahi appetizer as well as crabcakes and those amazing little oysters were the best I've ever had!! Maybe because they were smaller they didn't have as much grime or sand, but they had a delicious fresh flavor to them!! The sauce was even more impressive and the flavor the sauce would give the dish was over the top!! I truly can't wait to come back!! They also have an adorable downtown area and I can't wait to come back here to go shopping!

Cucumber Martini and Old Fashioned!

Stopped in for a cocktail and some appetizers. Sat at the bar and Will took great care of us! We had amazing cocktails (cucumber martini and an old fashioned and margaritas) Good drinks and for snackage we had the butter fish in a ginger miso sauce. Unique and special! We also had their clam chowder which was delicious! Rich and velvety! Hoping to stop in again before we leave!

Saw no real vegetarian/vegan options for those of us accompanying seafood loving friends. It'd be great to have a fried avocado taco added to the taco choices - or cauli or shrooms. Or Portabello fries with marinara. Can u consider option?

The brisket tacos were cooked to perfection and the puree at the bottom of the taco is such a great suprise! My husband got the bahn mo special and I of course stole a bite or two. The food though was disappointing. The most interesting item was the clams that came in a cava broth with garlic and parsley. They brought some toasted hearty bread to soak up the sauce. The baby kale salad was also nice with shaved fennel and manchego. The other three dishes were both off and a bit weird. The cauliflower came with bacon, which was good, and sweet dates; the dates were an odd addition and they stuck to your teeth. The calamari, was prepared well - it wasn't chewy - but it just had an off flavor, or at least one I haven't experienced before. Same too for the octopus. This was a much larger portion than typical - two tentacles, plus potatoes and olives. The octopus though was rather mealy. Small Spanish red wine list; only four. Tried two and neither were our favorites. The 1970s-80s classic rock soundtrack was an odd choice for background music.

We knew immediately this was going to be a special night. We went all in with the chef's prix fixe menu, and it delivered from the very first bite. Warm, homemade dinner rolls -- fragrant with thyme, garlic, and chili flakes, served alongside pillowy whipped butter -- set the tone perfectly. We loved them so much we asked for a second basket without a moment's hesitation. The Sonoma County Organic Salad that followed was nothing short of a revelation: crisp Little Gem lettuce, Pioneer Micro Herbs and edible flowers, beautifully shaved vegetables, whipped fromage blanc, and a Green Goddess dressing that tied it all together with effortless elegance. Perfection is the only word for it. For our entrées, the Petrale Sole Meunière was a masterclass in refined, soulful cooking -- the Costeaux sourdough croutons, potato fondant, haricot verts, and caper beurre noisette working in perfect harmony. And the pork porchetta with nduja? Cooked flawlessly, bold, deeply satisfying, and utterly memorable. We paired the meal with the Valette Rosé of Pinot Noir, which has instantly earned a place among the finest rosés we've ever tasted -- vibrant, nuanced, and a dream with every course. Dessert brought the ItsNotA 'Snickers Bar' and the Almond Frangipane, both executed brilliantly and the ideal sweet finale to an extraordinary meal. Valette isn't just a great restaurant -- it's our new favorite dining destination, full stop. We'll be back, again and again.

It's a great room with good energy and although I was expecting more of a white tablecloth experience, it was casual, which was fine. Unfortunately, my entire entree (sole meunière with green beans and fondant potatoes) was uniformly bland...no trace of salt or seasoning whatsoever. The entire dish was blah. I can't remember the last time I complained about inadequate seasoning, but when it's nowhere to be found, it's hard to ignore. The beans were pretty much raw. I enjoy bright green beans served al dente beans, but raw? No. The fondant potatoes were anemic (zero golden color, zero confit). All three pieces seemed steamed, steamed unevenly, and served cold. One of the three fondants was very firm and barely cooked. I needed to cut it with a knife. The other two were fork tender but alas, cold and flavorless. Honestly, it was kinda weird that all three components of this dish were just so darned boring and lacking temperature. I had only started my meal when I told the server about my impression of the dish. He took my feedback cheerily and said he'd let the chef know for future reference, but no "How can we fix this?" It was a bummer. When eating a classically delicious dish feels like punishment, something's not right. On the bright side, the server had a very nice manner. The room was lovely and had good energy. The menu was priced lower than we expected. And the chilled english pea soup was absolutely delicious. So Valette is capable of getting some things right. I'm not sure whether to chalk it up to "off night" or poor quality control in the kitchen. I guess both, maybe.
