I absolutely totally love this place. I come to the sunset specifically to go to this restaurant because it is so delicious. Everything is vegan friendly. I highly recommend dining in person as the portion seem a bit bigger. All the food is made fresh to go and the service is wonderful. They're seating indoors and outdoors. There is a bathroom in the back hallway and metal utensils for use so they are very environmentally friendly. You can get here directly from the N Judah station.
The staff at Judahlicious were so patient with me while I was being indecisive about what to order. I ended up getting the Phoenix smoothie, the Dahnu wrap, and a small chocolate dessert--I can't remember the name. Everything aligned with my raw diet and was so good! I was hesitant about the wrap and thought I'd only eat half, but it was so good I finished the whole thing. The smoothie was so good too--I drank it before I even remembered to take a picture! I'll definitely be back to try more.
Stopped by after having walked through GGP and along the ocean and I was HUNGRY. Thinking I would give their açaí bowl another chance as soon as I walked in, I saw a couple with the Crunch Wrap and another pair having just been given their Crunch Wrap so I knew I had to order one for myself! 5/5 for the Crunch wrap! Loved the sauce they added inside (creamy chipotle) but I also topped it all with their salsa in-house and it was delicious. I also ordered a green juice and it too was yummy. I was very pleased with my overall meal! Happy I went in to try other items on their menu.
Ordered a Danhu wrap. Since it was my 1st time at this place, I had no idea what any of the dishes would look like. I was served tacos and noticed it in the middle of eating after I glanced again at the ingredients on the menu on the wall. They did refund the money, but still, I was left hungry and quite disappointed.
Judahlicious has a great selection of smoothies and juices. Their menu is very unique and i love the ingredients in each one! It is right by the beach and the staff is super nice and welcoming. Definitely try this place for smoothies if you are by Ocean Beach.
This place is quite small on the inside with a few tables. Order at the counter and they will call your name when the food is done. We opted for the full SEM sandwich and a waffle. The SEM sandwich was refreshing and deceiving filling. Lots of cashew cream/sauce that I really enjoyed. Otherwise, the veggies inside seemed to just be spring mix. I don't think I would've been full if it weren't for the sauces. The waffle was fine. It is gluten-free so the texture was a bit different. Lots of maple syrup on the side. I'd probably skip the waffle next time. Fairly expensive for a simple dish. Bus your own dishes when you're done. I'm not sure how often they wipe the tables. The table we sat at had crumbs all over and was a bit sticky but there was no other table available.
Judahlicious was where my heart sings the most! I'll always remember the moment that raw foods from the healthy ground up gave me a rich amount of good bacteria which was good for my gut health. From creative main dishes to soup bowls and desserts, Judahlicious had never disappoints since day one. My final piece for every vegan lover's viewing pleasure was the Jungle Style Bowl. A pair of raw açaí scoops, compared to the original, was unsweetened and superb. Might have one next time if I'm in the mood. Love the wooden interior, especially the glossy table. Customer service, peace out. Background rock songs, very laid back. Good to have a healthy business near the Ocean Beach with Other Avenues next door.
The food was fine, but the bad service is what inspired me to write this review. I came in on a Sunday with a group of friends and ordered the No Shirt, No Shoes and the Dreamsicle smoothie. The No Shirt, No Shoes was very soupy and not visually appealing, but it tasted alright. Mostly black beans with a little bit of grilled veggies, lots of sauce. The Dreamsicle smoothie was supposed to be a spin off of an orange creamsicle, with oranges, oat milk, and such. I got my order and was confused by the color of my drink (see photo), but I tried it just to be sure. It definitely did not taste like oranges. I went up to the staff member and told them about the mistake, and they started asking me a bunch of questions about the smoothie. Even though I made it clear that it did not taste like oranges and is not the right drink, they ended up dismissing me and saying "it probably is the Dreamsicle." I didn't want to argue anymore as the line was long, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth. From reading other reviews, it looks like order accuracy isn't Judahlicious' strong suite. I would recommend going elsewhere if you want to get what you actually ordered.
Stopped by this place on my bike ride to Ocean Beach and it did not disappoint! I can't remember what I ordered but the "wet burrito" was SO GOOD. I am a huge meat lover so knowing that this was just veggies, blew my mind! I also got the acai bowl and honestly, I wished it was slightly sweeter and creamier - the presentation was there though!
Above and beyond!! They offered several juice options but were so kind to let me create a custom order and deliver it with a smile! The customer service here is warm and friendly. I space is sunny and cozy!! What a great option to find vegan, raw, organic and local ingredients. The outdoor seating is lovely with lots of plants and a fabulous neighborhood dog parade!
I've heard many good things about this place and finally decided to try it since one of my friends wanted to try their drinks. We went here on a Sunday around 2:50pm and there was a short wait, but the inside of the restaurant was crowded because of the few tables indoors, so we ended up sitting at one of their tables outside. We ordered the Tonic and also the Sunset drink. I liked my Sunset drink because it wasn't too thick or too watery, which is how I prefer my smoothies. However, my friend said his Tonic drink was too spicy and ended up asking for a cup of water to water it down. I'd recommend this place if you like a simple and fruity drink. This place is a bit on the pricier side, but it tasted good and most of the things on their menu sounded healthy.
Craving something refreshing and light and stopped inside to grab a juice. I ordered the Farm juice and while it tasted ok, I wasn't expecting it to be warm. I guess I should have asked before ordering if they serve their juices chilled but I was taken aback with the room temperature drink. Service was friendly and looks like a good place to eat meals with whole foods but I was not impressed with the item I ordered.
I came here on a Saturday at 10:30am and there was no line. There's some seating inside and outside. You order at the counter and the food comes out pretty quickly after. I think the portions are quite large for the price. My group ordered the jungle acai bowl and the burmosa (weekend special). The acai was fresh and the pumpkin seed granola was tasty. The burmosa was also quite flavorful. As a non-vegan, I thought the food was good but perhaps missing something (that may just be the non-vegan, not always eating healthy of me). Overall, if you're in the area and want some healthy food for fair prices, definitely worth a stop. I'd love to try the other dishes.
Great little vegan spot near Ocean Beach that serves chili, finger foods, açaí bowls and healthy drinks! Friendly service and has a clean restroom in the back. Some indoor seats are available but could get crowded on weekends. We had an açaí and a smoothie - less sweet than other places. read more
Fresh, flavorful, and wonderfully plant-based! I ordered the raw vegan taco, which comes wrapped in a crisp green collard leaf shell and is packed with fresh onions and other wholesome ingredients. True to raw vegan style, it tasted fantastic--if you follow a raw diet, you are definitely going to love this. The service was exceptionally warm and welcoming, and they even have free stickers at the cash register (I'm already looking forward to putting mine in my journal!). The ambiance is comforting and cozy, and water is available as self-service. My friend also ordered a raw vegan dish, and it looked vibrant and packed with flavor. Since I stopped by close to closing time, my order was packed up in an eco-friendly to-go box, which I appreciated. Parking was also a breeze to find on a Sunday. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a quick, casual, and healthy bite to eat! read more
A sunset neighborhood staple, Judahlicious features vegan, raw vegan, and healthy foods that are nourishing as much as they are good for you! It was never my go-to vegan establishment, as I like my food cooked, fried, hot, and fatty. (And I am fully vegan!) But I appreciate and understand the need to provide options to all kinds of vegans ;) Now that I have moved to the Sunset, I can come here more often as it was a trek to get to from the East Side of town. This past visit, I tried: -Crunch Wrap: filling, warm, crunchy, and fresh! I added habanero salsa on top for a spicy bite. -Acai Waffle: Would never think to combine these 2 food items together, but somehow it works. Warm waffle bites with cold acai and crunchy pistachios on top. Seating is limited, but tables open up quickly. read more

Love a vegan cafe! They were able to accommodate my nut allergy just fine! Almost all instances of nuts are from a cashew cream or walnut parmesan garnish, so omitting seems easy enough. Great music, kind staff, quick service, and best of all -- reasonable prices! Yippee! read more

My friend lives a few steps away from this little gem, so we had lunch on a dreary Sunday afternoon in June. Seating is limited in / out, but we found 2 seats at the counter in the front window. For some reason, the other customers decided to glue themselves to our backs while they waited for their orders. It's a compact space, but humans don't melt in the fog. Right?! Once the customers moved, we were able to breathe again & enjoyed the vegan treats we ordered. My friend ordered a freshly-made waffle & a cuppa coffee. Obviously, I was a glutton & had the special-of-the-day which was an enormous & flavorful enchilada-burrito thing + coffee. I finished the meal with some cookies (yes, I shared). OMG... food was amazing & I love vegan options. For non-vegans, YUM. Your belly & tastebuds will love you. Water, silverware, & clean-up are basically self-serve, but it's okay. I know how to set & clear a table. Bathroom needs attention, but it's gender-neutral, ADA-friendly, and available to customers. Staff is very knowledgeable about the products. Menu is diverse - biggest problem is limiting what you want for one meal. I'll return!! If you choose to watch the chef prepare your order, you'll find the experience energetic & mouth-watering. Also, it's better than hovering over the people who are already seated. Take-away & app-based delivery available. It's a few blocks from a lovely park or the wild Pacific Ocean, so you have plenty of seating options. read more

Wow thank you Judie! Appreciate the time and review
Ordered the nekked burrito and rice bowl but forgot name! The standout was the rice bowl! They both felt extremely healthy, natural and fresh. The rice bowl had an earthy/hearty feeling which was enjoyable. Wish it had a slightly higher vegetable to rice ratio (rice heavy). The burrito was also very rice and bean heavy so in total maybe not the best combo for sharing in terms of variety but flavors were solid. Staff super friendly, shop also very cute! read more
I been loving Judahlicious for some many years now so here goes the review. Good portion sized vegan food thats approchable. My fav and "go to" is the sem sando! So so good flavors out of this world. Healthy, hearty and yummy. They have something special. Not much room for seating but this neighborhood staple is continually good every time read more

Came here on a Saturday for a late lunch, ordered the 1/2 Nekked Burrito and the No Shirt No Shoes. Both dishes were actually quite similar in terms of ingredients and taste despite them being totally different dishes (hence the 4, not 5, stars) - lots of black beans and rice, and avocado with lots of sauce. Serving size is good for the price point. Lots of other things to try - both savory and sweet and interested to try them. I'm not a vegan by any means and this cafe was delicious and I'd be happy to try other items on the menu. The cafe is not big - we were lucky enough to get a table for two outside in the sun, on what was a lovely Saturday afternoon. Customers don't tend to stay too long here so turnover is quick and easy-ish to get a table. No table service, order at counter and they'll call your name when order is ready. Nice and chill vibe. read more

I have dreams about their walnut chocolate chip cookie. Judahlicious please never stop making this cookie. It's the best cookie I have ever tasted and the fact it's vegan is crazy. Everyone go get the cookie. PS the phoenix smoothie is delicious too. read more
YUM. As a health food-oriented vegan, I'm can be so choosy that there's usually only a couple dishes that entice me even at vegan restaurants. But at Judahlicious, I had a tough time deciding what to get because almost every single item on the menu sounded AMAZING. The raw section - wow. (Always a good sign when there's a raw section.) The smoothie section - crazy. The hot food section really spoke to me, and I went with the 1/2 nekked burrito. I'm not entirely sure why it was named that way, but it was basically the perfect burrito. I opted for the corn tortilla, which was thick and delicious and homemade. Absolutely loved the black beans, brown rice(!!), grilled veggies, and cashew creme (made with olive oil!) and the mixed green salad topped with delicious walnut parmesan rounded it out into the perfect meal. Satisfying and filling in a light, healthy way. Cannot wait to come back here hopefully soon (and really enjoyed visiting Other Avenues Grocery Cooperative right around the corner). read more

They say true character is judged by the actions made when no one is around, the true character of the cooks and menu makers of Judahlicious is made of gold. The menu is great and the vibe of the restaurant is everything needed to start your day, calm and wooden. The nekkid burrito was immaculate and the açaí waffle was so brave because no matter how much the açaí melted the waffle held onto its constitution and stayed strong read more

Thank you so much for the kind review Faisal!
Haven't gotten to try their other vegan items but I was so happy to find raw açaí! I love bowls and especially when the açaí is not sweeten and blended to other things so it retains its firm sorbet texture. Also enjoyed the pumpkin seeds. Highly recommend for a healthy midday snack on the way to ocean beach read more

Do they have curbside pick up?
Hi there! This would be possible under certain circumstances. If you place an order online (pay prior to picking up) there’s a possibility you can call our shop and see if our employees have the availability to hand it off to you outside the store.…
The menu has waffles but it doesn't allow you to order waffles on clover. Is this item still available?
Hi there! To answer your question, the item is not available when the item is not prepared to cook, therefore it is not available to order online on Clover. For example, at times the store sells out of pita bread and we are no longer able to prepare…
Is the food here filling? I'm a big guy.
That depends. Everyone has a different stomach. Last time I had been consuming Dahnu Wrap, it's light to me.
