Grilled buffalo chicken Sandi with side salad
    Matthew T.

Stopped in for lunch on the way to GGP. Glad I did. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Happy to accommodate changes. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, but grilled instead of fried. With a Caesar salad. Got a blue moon beer to in a chilled glass. Overall this was a good small local owned and operated cafe. Don't look for fancy. But they deliver a good meal at a good price. They were perfect for my needs today. If you're around check it out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating area has sun and some shade space too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The indoor has cute photos on the wall and yacht rock acoustic music as background. Which I found relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] :)

Tasty breakfast burrito with bacon !

Café fare is always tasty and the presentation is elevated (fancy) The owners/workers, always friendly. Love stopping in here, great inexpensive neighborhood place!

The food was goood, but the drinks were terrible. I ordered a matcha and added white mocha flavoring which is just a syrup that is added to coffee. I got straight milk no matcha barely any white mocha flavoring. Matcha is supposed to be green this was just milk. I asked to exchange for another drink, which wasn't an option so i asked to get the drinks off because i didn't even drinks it, but the manager was being so rude and said no if i don't pay he's calling the cops. So disappointed and it costs like 7 dollars for the drink alone. i could have easily went to starbucks.!!!

Food was great. My friend and I got sandwiches after a run through Golden Gate Park. The French baguettes are purchased from Boudin and they are so crispy and light. All wraps and sandwiches come with a side so they're filling. I opted for the chicken tortilla soup while my friend got the Caesar salad. Both were tasty and just the right amount for a side! We both only finished half our sandwiches, but they made the perfect leftover for a light lunch later. Our server was thoughtful and friendly! She had a kind smile and answered questions we had about menu recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating in the sunshine was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So grateful they were open on a Sunday! FYI street parking only, and there is a single bathroom inside past the service counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There must not be air conditioning because it was hot indoors, but the weather was perfect outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Everything tasted good and was fairly priced! The worker was kind and accommodating; he made us feel very welcome. Service was quick. The breakfast burrito was on the smaller side and had a higher ratio of eggs to other fillings than I typically prefer but it was still enjoyable! I would eat here again if I was in the area and wanted something casual.

    No bacon

My sandwich was a joke. I ordered a BALT, and there were three tiny slices of bacon that were a fraction of a millimeter thick with maybe 3 bits of avocado

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Sweet breakfast & lunch nook on Clement, tucked away by 11th & Geary.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had some work i needed to get done so this place was perfect! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing food, great staff, quiet, non-crowded environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the breakfast sausage burrito with OJ Hit the spot! Thank you would definitely come back and try the rest of the vast menu.

We ate here for the first time outdoors. All the food was fresh and flavorful. The fritata and vegan wrap should have been a bigger.

My family ate here for the first time. The food was fresh and flavorful. The vegan wrap and fritata portion was small.

    Empty plate (Roasted Beef A)

If I've had a better sandwich, I don't remember it. Very helpful and kind owner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute, small spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Roasted Beef A is amazing.

Tasty, fresh, and presented amazingly. Totally worth the wait for my frittata. This place is great and has wonderful employees. We felt welcomed and taken care of. Thank you!

The people that work here are great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's lovely seating outside, which is perfect for a nice day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is nice too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food on my two visits were disappointing. I got the breakfast sandwich and couldn't eat it. The bread was dry and the cheese seemed plasticky. The muffins look like CostCo muffins, but without the Costco price. I'm a coffee snob, so I'm not dinging points for the bitter drip coffee. I wish this place was more like The Art Bistro.

This is probably the only place where the sandwiches don't taste like the store's essence…read more I mean, don't get me wrong, a store's essence from any given deli/liquor store definitely adds unique character to the sandwich and sometimes I want that in a sandwich. But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Service is good and ambiance is a small humble shop on the corner of 12th Ave.

Double pastrami, horseradish, havarti, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and pepperoncini. A lot going on, and it all came together. The horseradish and havarti gave it enough personality to stand apart from a standard pastrami sandwich, and the garlicky mayo tied everything together. The one casualty of DoorDash was sogginess by the time it arrived. That's not a knock on the sandwich, it's just the reality of ordering something like this for delivery. At $14.50 it's a hearty sandwich at a fair price. I'd recommend it, but eat in.
