When we were in Healdsburg recently, we added Catelli's on our list of restaurants we HAD to dine at due to the amazing reviews and positive feedback from our resort concierge. We asked our resort concierge to make reservations for us a few weeks in advance of our stay and we had no issues getting our reservation for a prime time weekend dinner hour time. Geyserville is a really small town with just a few businesses and there is plenty of parking on the street and in small city lots, you really won't have an issue finding parking here. We arrived about 5-10 minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately and were warmly greeted by everyone we interacted with and staff also wished me and my husband a happy wedding anniversary as well. The gesture and recognition was greatly appreciated! We ordered a bottle of wine to start (all ranging in price, none of the prices were too crazy and most of the wines were local to the area). We ordered a Caesar Salad to start ($10) and a Minestrone to start ($8) and we shared both of these. For entrees, we ordered the Chicken Parmesan ($29) and the Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli ($28). Everything we ordered was so tasty and fresh, and we loved everything we ordered! The service was also all so warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were dining at someone's home. We really enjoyed the entire dining experience and look forward to returning!

A consistently good experience at Catelli's. Serving Italian American comfort food in a warm inviting atmosphere. I'd get here more often if it was closer to me. Lunch was terrific. I love that they offer specials in addition to their menu. We ordered a couple starters - meatball sliders & truffle fries (both yum). I ordered the lasagna- absolutely delicious. I'm picky with my lasagna, it's something I like to make at home. This will not disappoint, the sauce is deeply rich with 10 paper thin layers of pasta with ricotta and goat cheese in between. We also ordered the halibut with pesto risotto the fish was flaky with a beautiful crust and the risotto was very flavorful, good pairing. The cocktails are also well made and dressed up cutely. I had the Venetian Spritz. The service is friendly and attentive. They also have patio seating available in warmer weather. A must try.

Always dependable food and service! I had the cheese ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce...delicious! My husband and I shared the kale salad which was huge. Service was perfect too!

We were greeted and sat at a window table for two which was a welcomed first visit seating. Our server, Faith, was both attentive and discerning. The Beef Carpaccio was a tad bit salty but the steak was sliced very thinly and the arugula and Parmesano Reggiano were paired very well in proportion. We shared the Richard's Meat Sauce Penne Pasta and the 10 Layer Lasagne. Both were Italian comfort food personified. I was concerned that the lasagne would be overpowered by the goat cheese, but Faith assured me that it lent a creaminess without the funk. She was spot on. The dishes were served piping hot. The place filled up fast. This fine restaurant will def be in our rotation when we visit the area. Domenica Catelli was at the front desk when we checked in. That's the sign of a well-run restaurant.

Signage on the outside, on the off chance you miss it.

Craving Italian? Make your way here, yes it's out of the way, all good things are, so get here! We had a girls night out, there was live music outside; drinks all around & a starter with the beef carpaccio. Onto the mains: an order of the spaghetti special, the chicken piccata & the ravioli in meat sauce - all screaming goodness. Lastly dessert - tiramisu, which literally disappeared, I know I had a taste, well I think I had a bite. Service - our server was running, took her a bit to get to us, but once Tiffany got going, she was on point. We ended up closing out the place, we were never rushed out. We'll be back & you all need to find this place.

One of the best Italian restaurants. Love coming here for the Micheal's pasta. The apps are good but the pastas here are delicious. It's usually street parking. I've never walked in before and always made a reservation.

Hot summer day. Perfect lunch date on our way back home

We wanted a kid friendly place where we can find good pasta! While reserving the table for lunch I asked for a seat in the patio and even though it was particularly hot with those big umbrellas and trees around it didn't feel that hot. The indoor seating is also equally unique. We ended up ordering beet salad and pasta with dc sauce for us and the kiddo. We liked both. Specially the portion sizes are big. Tip- they give free ice cream if the kid can finish their dish Unfortunately we had to take a to go but it was still yummy the next day. It definitely high up in our list when we visit the wine county next time.

Went to Catelli's on our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. I had the chicken Parmesan with a kale salad. Wonderful my husband Mark had a pasta dish called Michael's spicy pasta with sausage Yum. The service was wonderful as usual and very professional. Of course, Nice warm fireplace and candles on the table

Amazing. Every aspect of it, just amazing. From the outside this place looks very unassuming, step in and its well decorated with bar and reception area right up front. The brick exterior walls and the wood bar and flooring make for a classic rustic feel and looks right at home in North Wine Country. The other dining areas are equally classy but it's not until you go outside that you get the full picture. It opens up to a BEAUTIFUL outdoor garden with a marble & tiled bar, tiled seating area all framed by greenery. Once you sit down and take it all in with your favorite drink you are treated to a delicious Italian cuisine. I went with a large lunch party and was treated with a sausage penne in a tomato cream sauce. It wasn't too creamy and the sausage had a real nice spice to it, it was wonderfully executed. We also had a cheese lasagna which was unique compared to the lasagna's that I've had and made in the past but was still delicious. One thing that was interesting is that the party I was with has several food restrictions but that didn't stop the kitchen from bringing out Gluten Free garlic bread, Vegan and vegetarian pasta dishes for our food-sensitive friends. Lastly, and I cant state this enough, the service was EXCELLENT. Our server was patient with our large group of particular eaters, took pictures of all of us, kept the drinks rolling out and had plenty of support to keep us all fed and happy. I live 90 minutes away and I would have NO PROBLEM coming back and I will definitely recommend Catelli's to friends and family.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Stopped by Catelli's after a long day of wine tasting. Our wine connoisseur at Blue Rock Winery actually recommended us this place. He said told us Guy Fieri went to this restaurant. Service was great at this restaurant. Vibes were there. I wish we knew about the outdoor patio, we saw it on the way out. It looked so pretty, I wish we sat there. Truffle Fries: 5/5 Honestly hands down the best truffle fries i've ever had. The addition of chili pepper gave the fries a little kick. Definitely help elevate it! 10 Layer Lasagna: 5/5 This was really good, I would love to go back for this dish. Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli w/ Domenica's Sauce: 5/5 This is what Guy Fieri ordered. LOVED IT. Sauce was not to heavy which was good because the Meat Ravioli was very hearty. Catelli's Homemade Meat Ravioli w/ Mushroom's Sauce: 4/5 Mushroom sauce was really creamy, packed with mushrooms but I though the Domenica's Sauce tasted better with the raviolis. Spaghetti & Clams: 4/5 The clams where surprisingly quite fatty! Penne with Domenica's Sauce: 4/5 Flavorful but light at the same time. Garlic Bread: 4/5 Normal. Garlic and Butter was not spread evenly Tiramisu: 4/5 It was alright.

This place comes off as a Local Treasure. Everyone in here were locals. It has a hometown vibe. Clean, presentable but not Hipster. There is a bar and a separate dining room. The service was the same. Served by a local who was a bonafide adult. He knew the menu and made good suggestions. We had a drink special. Followed by Charcuterie platter **** The mains were huge. A beet salad and the homemade raviolis with mushroom sauce Yum. Desserts are also great here

What a fabulous place to dine. Firstly, the service is excellent, attentive but not pushy. We had a table inside and the ambiance is so cool and comforting, but outside is equally great especially on a warm day. Now the food, firstly a lovely selection of dishes and I was bummed the special sea bass for the day had sold out and so went for the cheese ravioli and their spicy red sauce. Just delicious. We had couple of burrata boards (one gluten free) and they were awesome as were the truffle fries. A couple folks had the ten layer lasagne as well. A couple desserts and espresso and the dinner was a delight. Oh, and the cocktails were so well made and balanced. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return. They do have a full gluten free menu.

I've gone to Catelli's multiple times when visiting my family in Sonoma County and it's overall been a good experience. The service is impeccable, and the ice cream seasonal berry dessert is honestly the reason I keep coming back. Some dishes can be a hit or miss, or feel forgettable, but the ambiance of the outdoor seating with the checkered flooring is beautiful.

Pizzando is a small and cozy restaurant with limited indoor seating, so this time we came early on a Wednesday around 5:30 PM to try to get seated right away. The hostess initially tried to put our group of 4 outside in 50 degree weather, but she managed to combine 2 tables so we could sit inside, which we really appreciated. You could tell she was stressed even though there was only one person in line ahead of us, but I think it might be because they handle a lot of online/takeout orders and she was constantly running around. They may be a bit understaffed(?), which would explain it. She was working hard, but the quality of service felt a little affected. We ordered the calamari appetizer, focaccia bread, beet salad, and 2 pizzas. I would probably order everything again if I came back. The calamari is not what you might expect, it's not battered and crispy but chewy and served in a delicious sauce with a nice kick from the shishito peppers, as shown in my photo. We ended up dipping the focaccia in the leftover sauce and loved it. The beet salad was light and refreshing, a good contrast to all the carbs coming our way. The pizza was great and I especially loved the margherita. You can really taste the quality in the mozzarella, and the dough was fluffy and chewy. Overall, the food was excellent, but I would give the ambiance a 3/5. Our waitress was fine but a little clumsy, and she asked to clear our plates a few times when we were still clearly eating... There were also tiny little flying bugs that kept hovering around our table. They wer SUPER tiny, even smaller than fruit flies but clustered together, and we had to keep swatting them away from our food. I am not sure if this is a regular thing or if it was just because we were seated near the door and they flew in, but it was a nuisance for sure.

Pizzando - Healdsburg…read more Healdsburg was quiet that afternoon. One restaurant had just closed, another bagel shop locked its doors early while someone scrubbed the counters inside. We were hungry and out of options, so we wandered into Pizzando. It looked decent enough. We sat outside next to the the sidewalk, by the street, half enjoying the Sonoma sun, half fighting off flies and truck noise. The fig and blue cheese pizza sounded like something crafted with intent...pancetta, blue cheese, ricotta, arugula, pear, balsamic. Forty-five minutes later, it showed up missing the pancetta. The server shrugged, wandered off, and returned with a plate of cubed pancetta like it was some kind of peace offering. We topped the pizza ourselves. It wasn't bad...sweet, salty, creamy...but the rhythm was off. The focaccia showed up late, the pacing sloppy, the whole experience just slightly out of tune. They knocked two bucks off the bill, a gesture as thin as the crust. Pizzando isn't terrible. It's just the kind of place that reminds you how fragile a good meal is...how easily it can all go sideways when the kitchen forgets what's supposed to be on the pizza. We won't be back.
