Geyserville Grille is always a wonderful experience! Today, we enjoyed a delicious brunch with their Chilaquiles, egg scramble with vegetables, refreshing mimosas, and the fabulous cinnamon cakes. Our favorite spot is the cozy patio by the fountain, where we can take in the beautiful vineyard views. We also really appreciate the dog friendly atmosphere. Service is wonderful and always so welcoming, with special thanks to Lisa and Kaitlyn for their fabulous care and warm hospitality. After breakfast, we enjoy the dog-friendly vibe (on leash) and taking a walk along the walkway and garden in the back, surrounded by vineyards and flowers. Lots of photo opportunities read more

During our weekend getaway trip to celebrate a birthday and anniversary we stumbled upon Geyerserville grille when we were searching for a dog friendly place with a patio for brunch . The patio area was busy and a great place. We had Gabriel as our server who went above and beyond with his service and bringing the dogs water. The waitress who brought us our drinks wasn't as friendly. Gabriel brought us some warm fresh complimentary blueberry muffins which were just delicious so we were excited as we ordered our food. While we were waiting we decided to take the food to go since the dogs were restless with the heat. Overall the food was ok apart from the special request I made for a grilled chicken burger they made which was one of their past specials. They did charge us for jalapeños which we never got. Over all I will say the food was ok, they are dog friendly place, their blueberry muffins were awesome and they try their best to accommodate special request, thank you Gabriel. read more

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Geyserville Inn yesterday. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. A special thank you to Gabriel, who went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. We wanted to move to a table in the sun in an area that wasn't open yet, and he was incredibly accommodating. He helped us relocate and moved all of our belongings without hesitation. His kindness and willingness to help made us feel genuinely welcomed. Came in in a Sunday around 10am (happened to be Easter Sunday and we were glad they were open). This is our first visit here at the grill. since we stayed at the Inn next door we were able to get a small discount on our breakfast. Our server was polite and friendly. These brunch items were superb!! Veggie quiche- beautiful presentation with added flower and micro greens-Full of veggies and topped with cheese. Accompanied fried potatoes with onion and bell peppers-crisp and flavorful! I asked for a side of salsa-they have house made- tasty and spicy!! Lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes-beautiful presentation and light and fluffy. Beautiful strong lemon flavor went well with the blueberry. Really no need for maple syrup unless you are a syrup lover : ) Drinks: Coffee was nice and strong Basil blackberry spritz ?- nicely made With beautiful presentation and delicious Easter mimosa (?) - peach schnapps with oj and champagne - delicious and a little sweeter than the blackberry one. This is a cute and quaint restaurant Loved the ambiance. Breakfast was FANTASTIC! Definitely felt like a high-end breakfast experience. I stopped here for brunch during a bike ride recently. I've been here a few times and decided to try again. I sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the fall weather. The servers were friendly, but the service was painfully slow. I sat down at 12 and my cold sandwich was delivered to me at 12:50. I watched others who arrived after me get hot meals before I got my cold sandwich. Once at the table the presentation on my plate was good. I had a club sandwich. It was okay, but mostly dry and lacking flavor. The fries that accompanied it were tasty. I think a bit of a change in the menu might liven up this restaurant. There are a number of one-off styled dishes that don't really get my attention. The location is nice and the outdoor scenery is set in the vineyards of the Sonoma wine country. I'd like to see different food here to make this place more successful. read more

If they had been really busy, some of this might be understandable. But since the place was nearly empty, there is no excuse. First, the good. The ambience is welcoming. Well lit, not crowded table placement, and nice people. The three of us sat by the gas fireplace, which added to the vibe. We received our water, and then ordered our food. Here's where it started to get bad. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out. Two omelettes and French toast with sausage. Basically a simple meal - nothing to explain how long it took to come out of the kitchen. No one apologized. No one ever came back to refill our water glasses. The omelettes were OK, nothing special. But the French toast was very bad. First, it seemed to be three slices of a stale baguette. It was so hard that it was very difficult to cut - I wish I had had a steak knife - and chewing it was a chore. The sausage on the side looked like hot dogs. It was curled like a pinwheel, and again, it was difficult to cut with a knife. If we hadn't had to check out of the hotel, I would have sent it back. If I had had dentures instead of real teeth, I couldn't have eaten it. As it was, I only ate about half of it. I don't know what went wrong that morning, but if that's the way they are all the time, it's a miracle they're still in business. I would not go back even if they paid me. read more

Went to River Rock Casino, looking for a place drove past the Geyserville Grill, there is a patio out front and additional patio in the back area of the restaurant. Food is typical American fare and a local run family business. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food portion size was good, food was hot, prices very reasonable. However food lacked any season the hamburger patty was just plain bland. Someone I charged should taste the food on occasions . I could eat here in a pinch but could get a far better burger at in and out for less with better flavor. read more

Had Mother's Day brunch and it was horrible, not sure how this place is still in business! My previous visit was several years ago and this place wasn't great then, but at least it wasn't terrible. Not only was the food bad (pastries were obviously store-bought, and stale) but they charged extra for both orange juice and coffee on top of the $65 buffet brunch. Located next to the geyserville inn which was convenient in the morning. However the food was severely lacking. It started with a flat soft drink followed up by the blandest , fattiest hamburger I have ever had. Not a seasoning in sight. The friends who accompanied me also felt their food was subpar. We stopped by for a brunch on a warm, summer midmorning on our way up to Oregon. The Geyserville Inn is so charming, we thought we would give the grille a try, especially because their outside area, although only enough for eight tables, was very cute. One table was just checking out, so that left one other table besides ourselves, both of which were seated outside. No one was seated inside. We were immediately seated by the hostess . We waited for about 10 minutes before the waitress came; we ordered water and a bloody Mary. The bloody Mary came within five minutes, but we had to wait over 20 just to get the water. My guy actually had to go inside and try and look for someone.- he couldn't find anyone inside. Finally he found a bottle of mineral water but had to pay five bucks just so I could drink something. About 5 minutes later, the waitress came and brought some water. It was a little ridiculous - over 20 minutes just to get a glass of water.. Moving on: I got scrambled eggs and sausage. I was pleasantly surprised they had gluten-free bread. Since I couldn't eat the deep-fried potatoes, they substituted fresh fruit instead. My guy got the Chilaquiles and was less than enthused by them.. When the bill came, we expected to pay more for the gluten-free bread, -I'm used to it and that's typical. But they also charged us five bucks extra since I got the fruit instead of the potatoes. Considering it was a substitution, we were a little miffed to find out we were also charged extra for this. It's sad that our experience was dampened by the waitress, but her lack of attention, considering there's only two tables in the entire place, was really disappointing. With so many other places close by, I don't think we would come back here, unless we tried staying at the inn. read more

We have been here before and the food is good but the service is always has problems. Today we went and were one of 3 tables. One table had already received their food and the other was a 2 top. It took over an hour to get our food; pancakes, french toast, and one chicken fried steak. It took 30 min to get our drinks. The icing on the cake was that there is a cat that lives inside the restaurant. Who knows if it is climbing on the tables that food is prepped on. Gross. On previous occasions, it has taken so long to get drinks/refills that I have gone up to the bar for faster service and paid separately. Set aside a couple hours for a breakfast and be okay with rouge cats inside the dinning area if you choose to go here. read more

I appreciate the reply to my original review. With regards to the bread coming from Franco American Bakery; I ordered sourdough and was served white bread. The eggs were just bad, probably not fresh. I have never had eggs like that. Prior breakfasts that weve had at this restaurant included flavorful and fresh eggs, properly cooked. Its shameful to serve sketchy food that has been poorly prepared. I imagine a disgruntled employee in the kitchen just throwing things together. A conscientious cook would not let a meal like we had leave the kitchen. Spoiled or almost spoiled products should be thrown out. The meals we each had did not indicate a pride in the quality of product or in the preparation. The restaurant may be "confident in the quality of the ingredients we offer" however in this instance we are not. On this occasion the service was reasonable. The wait staff cannot control the ineptitude in the kitchen. read more

There was hardly anyone there and it took an hour to get our meals. The breading on the cod was disgusting. It was the worst fish and chips either of us ever had. I ordered eggs over medium and the whites were mostly runny, like snot. The part that was cooked had a rubbery texture. Probably a lesser quality egg, purchased on the cheap from a guy in a dark alley. Even the toast was flavorless crap, and the hash browns were super oily. What a colossal waste of time and money. Tried to go there today on Mothers Day only to find that they had lost our reservation. They were obviously very busy and we were not the only people in line who had the same problem. The first person we talked to was polite but could not help us so I asked to speak to the manger. The manager was extremely rude from the very beginning of the encounter and just kept pushing the narrative that I must be lying about the reservation because according to her no reservations exist until they are confirmed with a return call. The problem is that the person who took my reservation didn't ask for my number so no call back was possible. Mistakes happen but the attitude of the manager was disgraceful clearly she needs to look for another job, prison guard might suit her better. If you are visiting Geyserville or even if you live there avoid this place and eat elsewhere. read more

We had high hopes. We made a reservation for dinner to watch the local tractor light parade as the restaurant is right on the main road. We showed up 5 minutes early for our reservation and were told they were full but would squeeze us in. (But we had a reservation?) We we're thrilled to be seated in front of the window for the parade on a rainy day. From there our server did a fantastic job. He was quick, prompt, and flexible with us stepping out to watch the parade. We learned it's tradition for almost every table to get up and walk out to the street mid meal. They ended up being out of my first two wine choices but my third choice was delicious. The food was good but not fantastic. The pasta sauce started separating on the plate. We felt the pricing was a bit higher than it should have been for the quality of food but understand it's Geyserville pricing. With a few quick adjustments like keeping the menu up to date and adding a bit more care to the food prep, this could be a banging spot. Service was distracted by something other than me. I almost felt like I was an inconvenience and would have left except I was hungry and wanted to eat before I started the day. Ordered two eggs with potatoes, bacon and toast with a single cup of coffee and it was $30 bucks plus with a tip. The server showed up at the end and asked if I would like more coffee? After I'm standing to leave, to little to late in my book. It was just a couple eggs, a half a potato chopped up and a couple strips of over cooked bacon. $5.50 "Side Pancakes" = 1 pancake I went out to breakfast with my boyfriend and his Mom and Dad. His dad ordered the side of pancakes and when the "pancakes" came out we saw it was only one pancake. Smh. For $0.20 they could have brought out another pancake when we pointed out the language in the menu. Instead they berated us and argued there was nothing they could do. The Geyserville Grille is located next door to the Geyserville Inn, it couldn't be a more convenient spot for hotel guests, and those passing through the area. My mom and I ordered the Portobello Mushroom Burger with a side Sonoma salad. YUM!! The pesto aioli was so good, everyone at our table ordered extra sides of it to go with their respective meals. Then next day for brunch we ordered the Roasted Portobello Mushroom Omelette (couldn't get enough of those flavors), and of course more pesto aioli. My husband loved his Chicken Arugula Sandwich, which I'm sure had something to do with the pesto aioli. The staff was friendly, kind, and open to customizing the menu choices due to dietary restrictions. read more

We had the pleasure of being in geyserville on a Tuesday. While the guys Geyserville grill is closed Monday through Wednesday around the back they had a little unit called Paul's kitchen. This was a delightful little grill with an unexpected menu. We had the chicken fajita salad and the Southwest wrap with a side of fries. The staff was prompt and very attentive for it being the little subunit that it was. Prices were fair and the food ended up being surprisingly good. The side of french fries that came with the wrap were amazing and we had a couple of hen house beers. The grounds around this unit were beautiful and we were surrounded by luscious vineyards. On the outside, this place looks very cool and quaint, like an old house that was converted into a restaurant. Which, it actually is. Once you walk through the doors, it definitely has an upscale Homestyle restaurant vibe to it. The staff is very kind and friendly, not overbearing or hovering around the table. I had ordered the fish and chips, as if it's on the menu, I can't not order it. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the french fries were nice and crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. The only problem I had with my meal was that the fish was really small. Now, I'm not looking for say a Long John Silver sized portion, but I would think that for the money I spent, there would be more than three small pieces of fish. But all that to say, it was cooked really well, and was very tasty. Overall, the ambience of the place is really nice, and is a great place to take a group of people for lunch. Bottom line? I would probably go there again, but it would not be at the top of my list of places. But if you happen to be in Geyserville, this is a great place to stop by and grab a quick meal. read more

First off, we were with a couple of friends and were seated right away, the restaurant is situated in a Victorian type house with ample seating and the ambiance was superb. We were a little late to take an outdoor seat, but the outdoor seating looked very inviting with a fountain. I ordered a glass of zin (christenzen) was a very generous pour and so very delicious, great way to start off the meal. My meal was a pan seared salmon with black rice ... I may have licked the plate if we were not with another couple, it was cooked to perfection, black rice was al dente and complimented the fish completely. I am already thinking about the next time I come. The other couple ordered the decadent lava cake, which I had a couple bites of. I will certainly be back!!!!
