Just tried the new Cloverdale Supper Club and overall it delivers on what it's aiming to be: a polished, old-school supper club experience with strong execution where it matters most. The ambience is one of the highlights. It leans into that classic supper club feel--dim, comfortable, and clearly designed for a slower, social dinner rather than a quick meal. Service matched the setting: attentive, professional, and paced well without feeling rushed or overly formal. Food quality was consistently high across the board. The filet mignon ($58) was excellent--well prepared, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a steakhouse centerpiece. That said, it arrives with only a baked potato, and even sour cream is an extra charge. No additional sides are included, which feels noticeably thin at that price point. If the table wants bread, that's also an added cost. It starts to add up quickly. Other dishes stood out in a very positive way. The Bolognese was rich and well balanced. The tomato soup paired with grilled cheese was comforting but elevated beyond the usual version of that combo. The fried calamari was lightly breaded, crisp, and not greasy--done right. Drinks were another mixed note. Pricing is reasonable and pours are generous, which is refreshing. However, the selection isn't especially deep or high-end, and the whiskey/rye options in particular feel limited. Expanding that list would better match the concept and the pricing of the food. Overall, the restaurant is doing a lot right--quality cooking, strong service, and a well-executed atmosphere. The main issue is positioning. At the current price level, this feels more like a special-occasion destination than a regular local spot. For Cloverdale, it's hard to see this becoming a weekly or even monthly go-to for most people. It's more likely to land in the "once a year" category unless pricing or inclusions evolve. Some good friends took us to dinner at the Supper Club in Cloverdale. I had the Flat Iron Steak. I don't like thin steaks and flat iron steaks are often thin, so I asked the waitress how thick the flat iron steak was. She said about 2 inches. 1/2 inch is a LONG way from 2 inches. The waitress should be better informed or at least not make wide guesses if she doesn't know. The flavor was pretty good, but it was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was well done (a misnomer if you asked me). So it was disappointing. And at $42, it had better be very good! The potatoes were interesting but all the flavoring was on the top and it was impossible to mix it due to the sticky cheese. My wife ordered the polenta and salad and both here good. The other couple had salmon, which looked dry but was reported to be good and the chicken looked moist and was reported to be very good. The dessert was awful. Bland with odd flavors. One other reviewer mentioned the desserts weren't good. I wish I had listened. The waitress was attentive (but complete wrong about the thickness of my steak) and the place does have a good atmosphere. It's too bad the prices are so ridiculously high and that the food doesn't make up for it. It's only OK. I might try the Supper Club again after it's had awhile to settle in, but then again I might not. It's overpriced and the food isn't that great. read more

We started with the burrata, which was just as delicious (don't skip it). And the dirty martini? Exactly how it should be - cold, strong, and perfectly briny. The wine list is clearly curated with care, offering great options whether you're local or visiting wine country. What I love most is how versatile the space feels. It's equally perfect for a romantic dinner (like ours), a family gathering, or a larger group celebration. That's not easy to pull off, but they've done it seamlessly. Cloverdale already has some great spots, but this feels like a meaningful addition - one that brings history, heart, and really good food to the table. The food at the Supper Club is absolutely amazing. Cloverdale seriously is lucky to have this establishment open up. Holy cow. My husband and I have been twice now both times for dinner. We got the Steak and Linguine and Clams and split it the first time...side of baked potato holy moly. To die for. Also the interior of this place is incredibly beautiful. The owners have such exquisite taste. Last night we went for burgers and WOW. Both the blue cheese and bacon burger a well as their classic cheeseburger were epic. I feel like a restaurant reviewer needs to step in here and see what's happening here....delicious. read more

Went for dinner tonight for the first time since they opened in April. Greeted by the owner Gianna . The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL for starters! Marisa was our server and was delightful! The food was delicious! Calamari was fresh and perfectly crispy. The Linguine with clams was perfection. My friend got the bone in Pork chop with a baked potato and roasted carrots. I tried the carrots they were soooo good. Cloverdale has a new gem of a restaurant for sure. read more

Amazing food and service! Stunning dining room. Our family highly recommends the calamari, rigatoni and the pork chop!

Our server Marisa was very lovely, but the bussers definitely need some training. Water glass sat empty while the bussers leaned against the wall. Steak had good flavor, but was very undercooked and overpriced. Food came out very hot, which was nice. Took too long to get a drink. Dessert was awful. Hope they train the staff to match the prices they are charging. read more

Food is fantastic! Ambiance is A+... Service is great!! I had the New York Steak.. It was cooked with perfection! It was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. You get 3 sauces to choose from and 3 sides to choose from with it. Went with my favorite the chimichurri. read more
